We liked the location next to the canal with easy access to surrounding scenic places. The apartment was comfortable and had most amenities required.
We missed not having a conventional oven. In addition, the steps up to the seating area could be made non slippery. We missed not having a recycling bin.

Large, spacious and quirky accommodation.
Modern.
Very safe feel.
Friendly people.
No breakfast included.
Bed quite uncomfortable.
Bathroom looks clean but smells like mould if vent is turned off.

a lovely cosy studio, situated in a great location. my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. In the apartment there is a book which includes lots of information, eg, walks, pubs, restaurants… we found that very helpful. the staircase is beautiful and quirky and we found this place very cosy and relaxing.

Beautiful location and the property was very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay.
The stairs are quite hard to get up and down inside the property.

Location was amazing, good location for walking. Absolutely spot on. Quirky stairs to lounge, a well thought out space..not to far from anywhere for a great break
My wife didn't like the stairs ,. Quite steep.

The property was perfectly located and had everything we needed for a long weekends stay. A decent size and comfortable bed, kitchen had a good size fridge and the TV upstairs had Netflix. I would highly recommend and would stay again

Compact and beautifully appointed space with excellent view and location. Very clean and well decorated
The property would benefit from more light in the car park at night and clearer signage of the parking space.

Quality accommodation/beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Tranquil location.

location, setting, comfort.
no outside space or balcony but this was fine as there was a bench next to the canal just yards away

Like everything. Newly upgraded separate cottage with large rooms and separate loft. Fully appointed kitchen for making meals. Beautiful rural setting with outstanding views. Gret location to explore but near enough to City services. Rivals the Cotswold but more authentically country. There is a canal running through the property with an enchanting walking and biking trail. The host Sid was marvelous with any request, but respects your privacy

The location is just beautiful, lovely views. It was very quiet, and clean. The apartment seems newly renovated, everything is well appointed and there was plenty to cook with if you need it. There is a breakfast bar for eating, but we mostly ate out. The bed is very comfy, and there parking at the rear of the building. If you are out and about most of the time, and not expecting anyone to call for a visit, the apartment is good.
The stairs are almost vertical, a bit like going up to a loft space. We are both fit, and found them tricky.
We had nice weather, not hot, but it was sunny. The apartment is very warm, which will be great in winter. Maybe a fan would be a good idea in summer. There is no place to sit outside, not even a communal seating area to say there are so many guests staying.

peaceful, beautiful location, love the decor of the apartment, felt very comfortable, perfect for a short getaway.

The location is absolutely stunning. The apartment is cosy and clean. Loved the telescope to watch the swans and little ones.
Unfortunately we was disappointed that there was no mirror in the room as we are 2 females and ideally need a mirror for drying/straightening hair (bring a mirror ladies)
The stairs are awful and although I understand that they had to be made that way to access the top, we didnt feel safe. The TV at the top was far too low down whilst sat on the sofa. We didn't use the top section. Lack of hot water but possibly because of the location. Really didn't want to say anything negative because it's such a lovely place and area and well looked after but was just a little disappointed with the points made.

Very clean, well equipped "cottage", ideal for a couple who intend to mainly eat out. In a good location to explore the Brecon Beacons. A good selection of pubs nearby (although you really need a car to get to most), serving a range of food and drink.
We never met the hosts which seemed a bit strange as they seemed to be at home just across the yard. For the price of the rental a small welcome pack (milk etc) could have been included. The kitchen was reasonable well kitted out but only really enough space to cook breakfasts or a very simple meal. Limited sitting space. I was a little annoyed to find out that longer stays (4 days) are available at a much discounted price, when booked directly through the host's own website.
The discounts are not available through booking.com
