Waterview In Town! Located a few blocks from the ferry landing; this newly built, cozy and modern unit has everything you will need to enjoy Friday Harbor. Cannery Inn - Chelan is one of 4 rooms for rent in the Cannery Inn building. The Chelan room offers a water-view and is ideal for guests seeking outdoor activities, shopping, dining and everything else the island has to offer. Also perfect for the boater who wants to regain their land legs, as the stairs down to the Port of Friday Harbor are only a few yards away.
This unit is equipped with a mini-Keurig (coffee pods are provided upon check-in) microwave, mini fridge, full bath, queen bed, Wi-Fi and flat screen Satellite TV. Guests are also welcome to relax and take in the magnificent views from the common deck area. There is a smaller deck area attached to the unit if the you are seeking more privacy.
Downtown Friday Harbor is one short block away from the Cannery Inn. Guests can take a short stroll down the hill to visit some of Friday Harbor's best coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and parks.

Well, I looked at the reviews and it was getting an 8 to 10 rating the 8 was because of the thin walls and we could hear the people next door snoring. when you get there there is a big jar of earplugs and my wife had to use them. The property condition needs help inside the carpet in the hall and our room was curling up the toilet seat was loose and not a quality seat the toilet roll when you changed the paper holder failed apart the door going inside our unit is stuck also the one going out to the balcony door. The location was GREAT, and the view was GREAT except for the skinny dead tree in the view. The property was very clean. Property management was GREAT. Ok, they need to spend some of their profit and insulate the walls fix the doors and carpet get rid of the skinny dead tree. last thing you are next to the Eagles Club or it was the Elk Club but a club that is very active and there is a deck there.

My stay in this room was magical. Overlooking Friday Harbor and the Salish Sea was a time that I will treasure always. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. A short walk to downtown with loads of eating options and all types of shops. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. I called the property management with a problem and they were responsive and friendly and took care of it immediately. You can hear other guests through the walls and I found that the white noise machine in the room took care of that.

Gorgeous little room, excellent location. Used it as our home base for a biking trip, and was very close to the ferry, convenient to lock bikes on the private balcony area. Very clean, beautiful view of the harbor. Nice selection of tea for the morning. Pillows were the only thing that could be improved upon- they were pretty flat/not very supportive, and please provide some kind of body wash or bar soap in addition to the hand soap. Would definitely return if I were in the area again. Housekeepers were also very pleasant and helpful.

The Chelan room has an amazing view. We sat out on the balcony and watched the boats, seaplanes a people come and go at the marina. It’s a perfect location to get to everything in Friday Harbor in just a few just walking. My only complaint would be the paper thin walls. It wouldn’t take much to put some sound proofing between the rooms.

This clean, lovely studio with a charming balcony offers gorgeous views of Friday Harbor. Comings and goings of sailboats, ferries and seaplanes were all the entertainment needed. Super-convenient to shops, restaurants, and the community theatre. Fridge and microwave are a bonus. I would stay there again.

A great location a few blocks from the ferry and close enough to shops and restaurants to walk. Great view of the harbor. The only less than ideal thing is the walls are paper thin. You can hear the conversation of the person in the room your sharing a wall with.

It was overall way overpriced for just a bedroom and bathroom, AND we were threatened to have to pay EXTRA money if we checked in before 4 pm and extra money if we checked out after 10 am, to allow for cleaning, but the floors and bathtub were dirty.
The walls were incredibly thin, we were unlucky that the couple next door was not getting along.
It was charming and well located but not luxury by any mean.

We spent 5 nights at this property in July. The view from our room looking out at the harbor was spectacular. The weather was unseasonably warm (for a few of those days) and the room did get a bit warm. There was an oscillating fan, which did help.....and thankfully, the nights were cool. We would love to come back to this property and maybe try the room next door, as it doesn’t get quite as much sun.....We’d recommend this place for sure!

This place had a nice view and beautiful grounds however if you would like to sleep in it's pretty hard once the sun comes up. They have white shades without blackout backing so it is really bright! Also, they need to add at least a ceiling fan or some kind of euro wall air conditioning unit besides a very loud and obnoxious plug in fan. Not sure how the very small wall heater (one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom) would work in the winter. For the money I would think they would upgrade this because it got very hot and stuffy while sleeping. The door is hard to leave open because it opens out and the window is facing the main patio and we did not feel comfortable leaving it open all night. I would not recommend staying here to a friend unless the above it addressed.

This was our third time staying at the Cannery. We had the Cle Elum which we really liked that apartment. Everything was great except for one important thing. And we have noticed this before. The walls are very thin and the couple next to us had a very loud snorer which we heard all night. It is so unfortunate that sound insulation was not included in the walls when the cannery was turned into these four suites because we live the units, their amenities snd location.

copied from review put on Airbnb: The place is clean, cute and has a great view over the docks with plenty of food within walking distance. That's about where the upside ended. Was disappointed with the morning amenities tray offered with a water heater and paper cups, we didn't touch it. Our two day experience had one afternoon and night of very loud music/party next door at The Grange. We had to go over and ask them to turn it down, tried twice and couldn't get a hold of the prop mgmt group. For us, $600 a night was unreasonable. Would not stay here again. The area is great so with other places available, I'd offer you keep looking.

Absolutely loved the Cannery Row Chelan room! Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, and perfect location in town. Loved the large community deck. On weekends, the property next door tends to have events which can be loud until about 2am however. Despite this, i will return!

Loved the balcony off the room looking over the harbor. Walls are noticeably thin for sound, but we had no direct neighbors during our stay so relatively quiet. Would definitely recommend. Queen bed was very comfortable mattress. Only thing that would make it better would be a king sized bed.

This place is beautiful. Views are off the charts! Beds very comfortable. Ear plugs provided because walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. House cleaners cleaning rooms when we are napping sounded like a hurricane coming through the building. The door codes for rooms and outside doors are the same and this made us feel unsafe. The inside lock doesn’t work. We put a chair against the door to secure it, while we slept. Even with the above mentioned issues, this is still an amazing property and we would stay here again.
