Uncomplicated, friendly and in a perfect Ettalong Beach location.

Location was spectacular. Felt welcome and staff were very friendly. Cafe excellent and easy to access. Close to shops and other facilities in Ettalong and we had a wonderful stay.

Perhaps the trees across the road could be pruned but seriously there was nothing that I disliked.

Lovely overnight stay right on the water .

Clean and comfortable room in perfect location .

Unfortunately we were there on a day the cafe was closed .

Hope there are plans to remodel this motel a it is in a great location.

Great location right on the water and quiet. Staff were friendly.

Facilities were poor. Bathroom was old with paint off walls and tiles. Doors to cabinet were loose and hard to open and close. mattress on bed was too small for the bead base which meant corners were exposed and a hazard. Main light flickered and turned off and on. TV was old and poor quality.

It was O.K. and neither good nor bad

Location and view

Everything was fine except WIFI which was not working. A better quality and faster 5G internet is required. No point of blaming it on too many customers using the WiFi Lifts could be good especially for disabled and elderly Also if you could ask the Council to cut the bushes blocking the water view

Excellent location

Location PLUS Jennifer & her husband who run it. Very friendly & super helpful. Quiet location but walking distance to everything , including the beach, cafes, restaurants, IGA, BWS , Club etc etc Motel is older style, but rooms are very clean & nicely furnished. Great views from upstairs rooms.

It suited us to be in a place that enabled us to get to know the area better espec. Cinema Paradiso

The room was private and on the ground floor in a convenient position. The office was nearby and easily accessible for any queries etc. The staff were helpful in removing rubbish changing linen. When a big storm cut out the power, we were kept informed by the manager about the absence of hot water during that time.

One of the cupboard doors in the bathroom was hanging loose and needs fixing.

I'll be back!!

Love, love, love the location, doesn't get much better. So convenient to Ettalong Beach across the road, local eateries and public transport. The room was clean and spacious.

If I have one whinge that it would be the lack of power points, charging phone, running laptop and making a cup of tea all from the one spot is a little inconvenient as there is only one outlet. However, I did move the couch and found another so it's a very minor whinge, more an observation.

Top location, an older motel but very clean. Would stay there again.

Clean and well located opposite the bay and near shops, cafes etc. Jennifer the manager was friendly and welcoming.

Not modern a 60’s motel, but that’s OK.

The location is perfect and the rooms are super comfy and clean.

Very loud exhaust fan in bathroom which is a dual switch for light so if you need to use bathroom during the night and need light the fan wakes the dead.

An older property in need of upgrading, but giving a warm welcome adjacent to beach and local shops.

Friendly welcome from reception/management, location and coffee shop attached. Large modern fridge and good hot water supply in shower.

Poor sound insulation from/to adjoining rooms. Motel is 1960s/70s vintage with number of original fittings, including bathroom (some floor tiles missing). Overgrown shrubs across road from motel block much of water views. May I suggest council is asked to trim shrubs, enabling guests to better enjoy the wonderful location.

Most suitable for our needs and purpose of stay, appreciated the friendly staff!

Excellent location, clean, all basic needs supplied. Comfy beds, great view and access to beachside and local dining.

Some aspects of the hotel a little dated but room fresh and comfortable. Only issues external lighting at night impacts a little on bedroom space and shower over a higher bathtub a bit of a challenge for older travellers. Adding a grip rail would assist safety.

Very good

Owner was so lovely and personable. Check in and check out were super easy. Accommodation is old but everything clean and comfortable. Views of beach from top balcony. Loved that I could go downstairs for breakfast in the morning.

Pleasant

We loved the view and the room was clean and pleasant. Staff were very pleasant and we were close to beach shops,cinema.

The dangerous steps leading up to the room. The one double power point in the main area to be used by 5 appliances...very dangerous. No shampoo or conditioner supplied.. First time in our travels that this did not happen. Only small things, but we're sure others would appreciate these issues being dealt with

It is well priced for a perfect location

The staff were great

If you had a shower other than at the normal morning time, the water took at least 5 minutes to warm up. The Wifi was almost completely useless.

The grassed area could do with some paved sections.
