Brilliant on the whole, but we were there to celebrate Christmas and it was ruined in STK.

The room was comfortable and quiet, but overlooking a lot of building work. The pool was lovely and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and pool snacks nice (although it would have been nice to have more salad options on the menu). Nice gym facilities and our kids loved the squash court. It would be great if the hotel could get a padel court too.

We booked into STK at the hotel for Christmas brunch. It was £150pp, so a lot for a family of 5. There was no atmosphere, the restaurant was really scruffy, we were put in a dark corner, the food was absolutely dreadful, the wine cheap and undrinkable, the cocktails warm in dirty glasses. It was just extremely disappointing as everything else at the hotel was so nice. Plus it was Christmas Day and we had hoped that it would be a really special occasion for the family (hence spending £750 on it). We couldn't eat the food it was so bad - it came out either over cooked or lukewarm as it had obviously been sitting out for ages. The desserts were unrecognisable. We are not people who complain usually, but it was Christmas Day and the experience left a really sour taste as we had chosen the restaurant over numerous excellent places we could have gone to for our Christmas celebration (indeed we ate in a traditional restaurant in Souq Waif the night before that was excellent). We left early. When we fed this back, we were offered a cocktail as we checked out (5am on a Sunday morning) - no thanks!!!! I think the restaurant should have refunded our money in full - it was SO bad.

Great place to stay! I’d do it again!

Staff amazing! Gym - probably the best one I have seen in a hotel for a long time Very clean! All round great experience

Annoying that only one place to buy and consume alcohol but for me that wasn’t a dealbreaker!

The hotel is very comfortable with nice amenities but not directly on the beach

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff very nice

The hotel is not directly on the beach… (there is a private beach with a shuttle) The service at the breakfast was very slow

My first holiday with my son as a family will always be remembered and all thanx to everyone at The Ritz.

The employees were fantastic and went all out to make us comfortable, some names I can remember Mousa, Hatim, Damam, Geoffrey and Afaf. There were so many more but could not remember all names.

That we had to leave it and come home

l'accueil du personnel, les extérieurs sont très agréables, facilité pour se rendre à la plage, le Pdj avec un très large choix et des produits de qualité.

seul bémol le quatrième jour ma chambre n'était toujours pas faite à 16 h.....

Beautiful hotel

Very friendly staff, luxurious lobby and rooms, room service was great. Breakfast was very good

We’ve been there during Ramadan and the meals were the same every evening. Not very much variety. Sometimes we didn’t get a table because it was full with external guests. We had the opportunity to eat in another restaurant in the hotel then.

The rooms are not soundproof, i could hear conversations from next room … the level of noise from the side and top rooms at night was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful hotel

The conceiges made you feel welcomed. It is a beautiful hotel, the room was clean, and I appreciated that house keeping removed the carpet from the room. I appreciated the gift of dates on arrival, the dates were delicious! The flower arrangement in the reception was stunning.

The view was disappointing, you need to stay in a suite to get a good view. If I visited again I would opt for a suite. A suggestion, if the bathroom is renovated, recommend to remove the bath, and make a bigger shower and more space for the toilet (it was so small my knees almost touched the door). Most of the staff were polite but did not seem happy nor friendly.

Looks like simple Marriot rather than 5 star Ritz Carlton, really old hotel.

Nice mattress, nice indoor swimming pool,

Variety for breakfast and dinner for the halfboard guests like us- the food was the same each and every morning and night. Outside swimming pool - quite old as well as the hotel- the floor is quite scratching over there. I would rather pay a bit more but stay in another 5 star hotel as that one is quite old. Really old. Infrastructure I mean. The rooms were fine , as we booked two.

A luxurious stay where we were made to feel special from the moment we arrived.

Amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton! Exceptional staff at every encounter, from the welcome every time in reception, the pool, the beach and the spa where the lovely girls helped us organise tennis, complimentary with rackets too. Housekeeping were extremely thoughtful, little surprises throughout our stay, flowers, towel art, we loved it. Special shout out to the team in the Club Lounge, brilliant they looked after us so perfectly, Mila, Dyanne, Wilberforce, everyone, thank you. It was my husband’s birthday and he was treated to balloons, cakes flowers and singing, in the room, Lounge and even the beach! Thank you so much everyone. The view from the Club Lounge was Wow, the food, drinks on offer throughout the day wonderful, definitely recommend. We had a great evening at B Lounge, one of the Hotels restaurants, lovely setting, beautiful food, again wonderful staff. Hotel buggies take you to the beach, just over a bridge, they took us to the shopping mall just at the entrance to the hotels long driveway. We had a fun night out in Lusail. We enjoyed long swims in the indoor pool and the jacuzzi, the outdoor pool area was pretty. Can really recommend a luxurious stay at the Ritz Carlton where everyone wants you to have the best time.

Excellent facilities, amazing people and just a brilliant hotel

Absolutely fantastic service from the minute we arrived till the minute we left! Every member of staff was so welcoming and despite being fully booked made us feel like we were their only guests! A special mention for Pearl who was amazing wrh our daughter and made her stay so much more special.

‏الدش المطري وتصريف الماء للمغسلة يحتاجون صيانة بسيطة لكن لم تؤثر على تجربتنا في الفندق.
