Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett war sehr bequem und wir konnten sehr gut schlafen
Die Lage war sehr abgelegen und der Strand war keinesfalls zum Baden geeignet wegen großen Verschmutzungen.

Tolle Poolanlage, klimatisierter Gamesbereich mit kostenlosen Spielen (Brettspiele, Billard, Tischtennis und Scheibenschießen), großer Parkplatz für Autos und Motorräder, Personal vorhanden, das beim Überqueren der Hauptstraße hilft, mehrere Zimmerkarten vorhanden (für Bedienung der Klima toll)
Der beim Hotel liegende Strand ist leider nicht wirklich einladend (war für uns aber nicht relevant, da wir zum wenige Minuten entfernten, traumhaften Chrystal Bay gefahren sind); Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße (bei der Zimmerauswahl beachten) - wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz hinten am Pool und haben vom Vekehrslärm nichts mitbekommen- das war echt toll!

Das Personal im Outtrigger ist super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Die beiden Poolanlagen sind wunderschön und bieten ein abwechslungsreiches Angebot.Der Kinderclub ist wirklich schön und unsere Tochter hat ihn gerne besucht. Auch dort ist das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Was uns persönlich nicht gut gefallen hat, sind die Zimmer und um es genau zu nehmen die Zimmerreinigung. Die Reinigung erfolgt eher oberflächlich. Zusätzlich ist die darin befinfliche Klimaanlage extrem laut, dass man sie Nachts ausschalten muss um überhaupt ein Auge zumachen zu können.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war eines der "schlechtesten" die wir jemals bekommen haben. Selbst in einem 4* Hotel war das Frühstück besser und die Auswahl größer.
Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, allerdings liegt es an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße. Dies war uns zwar bewusst, hatten allerdings nicht damit gerechnet, dass dort soviel Verkehr ist. Zusätzlich ist man von Dauerlärm betroffen. Da kommt Freude auf, wenn man sich erholen möchte. Ein negativer Punkt, den wir ebenfalls noch erwähnen wollten ist der Strand oder was davon vorhanden ist. Das ist der mit Abstand dreckigste Strand an einem Hotel den wir je gesehen haben. In einigen Kommentaren des Hotels steht, dass die Strände öffentlich sind aber das Hotel 2x täglich die Strände versucht zu reinigen. Also wir haben in unserer Zeit niemanden gesehen, der dies gemacht hat. Erklärt jedoch, warum am "Hotelstrand" niemand ins Wasser gegangen ist.

The breakfast was very good and the ultra friendly chef Parn always made the start in our day better.
Sadly the prices at the beachclub are ok for dinner but especially for drinks during a pool day are too expensive (softdrinks and water).

Stunning decor and attention to detail. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Suite was really impressive. Clean, perfectly maintained, lovely pools. Comfortable bed, good wifi.

Voyager Club lounge was disappointing. Very small, pre-made morsels of food, only one serving per person. Same small selection of cocktails each day, no spirits and poor quality of wine. Not ‘club lounge’ standard.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our suite was very noisy.

We were treated like family from the moment we arrived! Norbert and SAO were particularly amazing! The dinners that were included were super tastey and great value for money! The club room, all day drinks and snacks was a huge bonus! Finally the classes they included each day were lovely to do, yoga by the sea? Yes please!

Das Personal (insbesondere Kathrin und Noot aus dem Restaurant und Aoi vom Kidzclub) war sehr freundlich. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut.
Leider wird am Kinderpool häufig gekifft und das Atmen die Kinder ein. Das Personal sagt nichts und als ich sie anspreche heißt es man soll einfach weggehen bzw. zu einem anderen Pool gehen.
Das fand ich schrecklich, dass man sowas legalisiert und toleriert, wenn Kinder sozusagen den Drogen unfreiwillig konsumiert.
Der Strand wird leider nicht sauber gemacht (war sehr viel Müll).

Great room, amazing kids playroom with table hockey, table tennis and billiard. Good choice of kids activities and some sports activities for adults (yoga, boot camp, meditation, etc..).
Loved the grill BBQ dinner on Saturday night and the live music band was superb!!! Fire show was really nice too!
The food could have been better. Especially the baked items: I.e. croissants and some other pastry things (cinnamon rolls..) - those were quite tasteless as if not really fresh. Maybe some additional choice of cheese and salami will be great too as usually it was only one each.
But can’t really complaint as the staff was very friendly and they satisfied the kids cravings for hash-browns or bacon even though those were not available in the buffet selection.

Great breakfast buffet, nice little pool in the rooms area, air-conditioning worked perfectly, large selection of room service available. There also was an air conditioned games room to play billard, airhockey or ping pong.

The restaurant which belongs to the hotel (and which is a 2min-walk away from the rooms area) is very expensive compared to other very good restaurants around. We only tried it once, and then the staff was very unfriendly and inattentive, the food was dissatisfying...it was just too expensive for what we got for it.

Rien d'un hotel 5 etoiles aucun accueil, des employés qui vous evitent et vous laisse trouver vos propres solutions, pire plage de koh samui, aucune poubelle dans les espaces communs chambre avec balcon de luxe mais qui a une vue sur les toilette d'un restau adjacent et une station de lavage qui n'arrete pas , balcon sans chaises et table, pour vous rendre à la deuxieme piscine il faut traverser a chaque fois... j'ai été dans differents hotels à koh samui et koh tao avec 3 et 4 etoiles qui sont de loin les meilleurs, l'emplacement est nul on dirait un desert au texas rien qui se passe, quand il pleut le devant de la porte de notre chambre est une flaque d'eau qu'il faut sauter, on vous demande de faire un deposit , seul hotel qui a demandé ça et jusqu'à présent le refund n'estpas reçu... bref plus grande deception de la thailande si vous ne voulez pas recevoir les vibes de l'ile venez ici!
Le service du restaurant est cependant fantastique, seul point positif.

ホテルから行けるビーチは海があまり綺麗でなかったから残念でしたが、変わりにプールが数個あったので、プールで泳げたのはよかった。部屋のシャワーのお湯が最初でないと思ったが、しばらくすると急に熱いお湯がでたり、温度調整が難しかった。清潔感はあります。コストパフォーマンスはよいと思います。ラマイビーチのにぎわってる場所からは1キロくらい歩きますが、ホテルの近所のレンタルバイク屋でバイクをレンタルでき便利でした。
プライベートビーチにいくのに、ホテルの外の一般道を渡らないといけない。

The style of the resort is very tasteful. There are two pools - one by the restaurant is quite busy but the quiet one is a lovely oasis.
Staff are lovely.
The location isn’t great (very quiet street and not a nice part of the beach), but it was fine for a short stay (2 nights)
Shame not to have any furniture on the balcony, so not really suitable to use.

Pool:
A very beautiful pool area, we enjoyed it a lot. The pool is designed with both relaxation and recreation in mind. If you prefer lounging poolside, comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas are available for relaxation. The pool area also includes a poolside bar where you can indulge in refreshing beverages and light snacks while enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.
Breakfast:
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Outrigger and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I entered the breakfast area, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The dining area itself was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully laid out. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my meal.
The beach:
The beach unfortunately was quite disappointed with the overall condition. The beach was far from the pristine and inviting environment I had hoped for.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the beach was severely lacking. the natural beauty of the area. It was disheartening to see trash in the sand and floating in the water. The hotel staff seemed to be neglecting regular cleaning and maintenance in this area.
Furthermore, what was even more concerning was the issue with the sewers. Sewage was being discharged directly into the sea, creating an unpleasant smell and an unhygienic environment. It was disconcerting and certainly not the kind of experience one expects when visiting a beach.
I understand that maintaining a clean beach can be challenging, especially in high-traffic areas, but it is crucial for a hotel to ensure regular cleaning and take appropriate measures to prevent sewage contamination.
I hope that the management of Outrigger addresses these issues promptly, as the condition of the beach greatly impacts the overall guest experience. Improving cleanliness and addressing the sewage problem should be top priorities to provide a pleasant and safe beach environment for guests to enjoy.
Despite the disappointing beach experience, I must note that the hotel's other amenities and services were satisfactory. However, until the beach conditions improve, I find it difficult to recommend this hotel to those seeking a pleasant seaside getaway.

Beautiful property in Lamai. The rooms and decor are very nice, they have two pools- beach front and one inside the hotel. The food at the beach front restaurant was ok. Loved the views of the ocean from the pool and staff were very nice.
