Would recommend

Great location, 10 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and central enough to get to some iconic attractions on foot. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed the indoor pool.

Very bad start, facilities and staff overall good.

Location, facilities and room good as usual

Our room was not ready. We were told it would be ready 3 different times, we took three attempts at the counter having to line up each time and waited well past the 2pm check in to actually get into our room. Last thing you want when you have travelled to get there. Very disappointing start to our stay.

You’d only stay for the location

Close to darling Harbour for vivid Restaurant manager Justin was nice Pool was good

Pool:Emergency phone didn’t work in the pool. I then went to the gym to call reception as the phone worked and had a selection but no one answered on any line. I called from my mobile because there was no towels and I couldn’t get my child out of the pool. 10 min later she brought the towels, but I was horrified explaining what if it was an emergency? As it was I had to leave my young child to try the gym phone. Room: Toilet paper roll flies off every time you use it. Huge door/tiny bathroom hard to navigate No in room dining after 10pm. All day menu comes from a pub, we went down to look at it and it was busy with drunk ppl and stunk! Not the place to take your kid! Reception: Waited over 1/2 to check in because the line was to the breakfast restaurant and only 1 person checked ppl in at a time. The ppl had to put their own luggage behind the desks as well. Breakfast Restaurant: breakfast Restaurant staff did really well because they were 4ppl down, but this meant a long wait time to get in, lack of food etc was terrible. Food selection and quality awful. Poached egg I waited for was hard boiled almost. I can’t say I’d recommend this hotel at the price of $330 Oh and it’s so weird, conditioner for your hair is on request? So you get out dripping wet to call and wait! Only shampoo and body wash supplied. Also no water in the room?! Normally 1 comp per room at other hotels

well designed room but the lack of sound insulation at the room was very disappointing

The design of the room is very modern and functional. Lots of space to hang towels and clothes. Also lots of counter top space.

The mattress and pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The worse was the noise from the road. The entire night I could here the roar of cars and sirens very loudly. There does not seem to be any sound insulation at the windows.

Beautiful modern hotel in Darling Square, highly recommend.

The room was modern and spacious, super comfotable. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. The aircon worked fantastically, the smart TV was very convienent to link to netfilx and worked really well as did the wifi. The staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was also really good and fresh.

There were dirty towels left in the bathroom when I checked in, as well as lots of sequins throughout the carpet that I kept noticing. I called reception about the dirty towels but no one came to collect them. The pool was closed and the only alternative was a public one ~10 minute walk away that had much more restrictive hours, was really dissapointed as it was a key reason I picked this particular hotel over others - wish they had let me know prior to checking in, I only found out as there was a stack of papers on the reception desk when checking in saying it was closed. The panel that controls the aricon was insanely bright and kept me up, I had to cover it with clothing to sleep.

Great location affordable price

Great location to get where we wanted to, located near heaps of food choices, pillows were great although I forget how uncomfortable a single bed can be when sharing a room, would say the only negative thing I prefer I dark room to sleep and the air con control and doorbell/ do not disturb controls shine bright the whole night also miss bin liners was not nice to check in and see someone else's cherry stone still in the bin because there was no bin liner just a little thing and I know its for environmental reasons but the bins are small enough and to not be lined makes a difference

Overall it was a great experience.

Location A++++ right next to restaurants and cafes. Parking is couple buildings away. Breakfast is buffet and quite full choices. Overall it was a great experience.

The hotel is sitting at the busy corner which gets most of street and traffic noise. Two side sensor clock lights are too sensitive and bright.

Location is ideal. The main reason for choosing. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I booked a superior king bed but instead got two beds joined together and it wasn't very comfortable to sleep on.

Great location, Good for a short stay

Great location, close to the city and easy walking distance to the harbourside restaurants and night life. The beds were super comfortable and the room was clean, bathroom and shower were nice too Late check out was great

The room was not available at the check in. We did receive a complimentary drinks voucher for the inconvenience though. Rooms are very small. Compared to other Novotels the amenities in the room were disappointing, tea and coffee options were very basic as were the toiletries and at almost 400 a night it didn't feel like good value

Kids loved the breakfast options and indoor pool. Amazing location.

The breakfast had many options and was very nice. The person greeting us for breakfast was very welcoming and offered me a coffee upon arrival.

We arrived at 3pm but our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait over 40mins. A little challenging when you have luggage and kids! There was a loud noise in the air con when the temp was changed the first night. Not so bad the second night as we changed the temp of the air con.

Everything is good except the breakfast. Location is amazing.

Breakfast didn’t reach my expectations when I see the monotonous variety and liquid scramble eggs. Could have something different since it’s next to the Haymarket.

Stayed here after our wedding, despite a great location would be reluctant to stay here again.

the location is fantastic.Bar staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

There was no hand soap and no shower gel. We were only given two towels, despite staying with our young son and when we asked for another towel it didn’t arrive. Check on staff were not helpful.
