But it was only one thing
They charge for spa. I just stayed in another 4 star property and spa was free of charge however here it was 15 euros per person. Spa is outdated and sauna wasn’t working. Food was just really bad. Like really. Cold mostly , tasteless and just repetitive. I wouldn’t say standards and service meets the 4* hotel criteria. More like 3 star hotel I would say. Thank god we didn’t have all inclusive. There aren’t enough sunbeds outside in the terrace by the swimming pool. People were usually running before or after breakfast to place their towels on sunbeds to kind of like reserve them. Also location-super super windy. If you come to Tenerife to relax and just rest don’t book this hotel because location is really windy and that makes it incredibly cold. It’s perfect for windsurfers but not for casual travellers

Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Not every guest was all inclusive, but, they remembered me and it was nice! There were staff dedicated for entertainment, singers, piano player. It was great

La pulizia delle camere non era molto accurata ,il cibo non era molto curato, la spa andrebbe rinnova il bagno turco non era funzionante e la sauna era ben lontana dall’essere a temperatura (c’erano anche delle fessure aperte ai lati)

Pulizia delle camere non effettuata per 2gg e molto approssimativa. Asciugamani in 6gg mai cambiati.
Gli orari del ristorante non sono adeguati. La colazione apre solo alle 730 e la cena si chiude alle 21.30

Krótko otwarty basen - po całodniowym pobycie poza hotelem ciężko zdążyć przed 18 żeby z niego z skorzystać.
Wentylacja w restauracji jest bardzo słaba, po wizycie w tym miejscu wszystkie ubrania są przesiąknięte zapachem jedzenia.
To już jest bardziej problem z ludźmi że nie potrafią podnieść krzesła ale odgłos szurającego krzesła jest słyszalny co chwile w restauracji, na basenie i w pokojach. Niestety nie robi tego także obsługa a meble nie maja na przykład podkładek filcowych

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des Ortes El Medano, den man aber bequem fußläufig erreichen kann. Das Personal ist freundlich- herausheben möchte ich die Servicekraft (Bar und Restaurant) Cynthia, die eine sehr herzliche Atmosphäre versprüht.
Auf jeden Fall sollte man Meerblick buchen, da das Hotel in der Flugschneise für aufsteigende Flugzeuge liegt und es nach vorne raus, äußerst laut und störend ist. Aber die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind hiervon nicht betroffen und man kann das Meeresrauschen genießen.

- Las instalaciones estaban bien, habitaciones amplias y con todo lo necesario.
- Con mucha diferencia, lo mejor del hotel es el restaurante a sus pies (por ser clientes del hotel te hacen un 20% de descuento).
Muchas cosas..
- La peor con diferencia es la limpieza... verás como en sus pasillos permanecen las mismas pelusas día tras día.. en la habitación te hacen la cama y ya.. el pollo la arena se ir acumulando durante tu estancia.
En una estancia de 7 días nos pusieron dos botecitos de jabón al inicio y el resto día tras día nos tocaba pedirlos en recepción..
- El buffet y las bebidas es de muy muy baja calidad, no es para nada recomendable el todo incluido desayunaras siempre lo mismo, y las comidas y las cenas preferirías habertelo pensado antes y poder ir a otro sitio.. (incluso es un todo incluido falso porque muchas bebidas normales como mojitos, coca-cola etc no están incluidos)
En resumen, para instancia corta en el que busques cercanía a playas como la tejita y que sirva como dormitorio puede valer. Si buscas instancias largas busca otro hotel.
- Extra*: Una de las almohadas era pésima, pedimos un cambio y tardaron 4 noches en cambiarla yendo a diario a solicitarlo y diciéndonos desde recepción qe de forma inmediata la cambiaban.

Mir hat die Freundlichkeit des Service-Personals gefallen. Ich meine damit den richtigen Service im Restaurant und an der Bar in der Bar-Hall.
Die Empfangsdame war sehr kurz angebunden und sprach sehr leise. Es wurde nicht alles erklärt wann, wo, wie..zusätzlich wurde zu unserem Ärgernis im Hotelsystem angezeigt, dass wir lediglich Frühstück und nicht All-Inclusive gebucht haben. Nach 24 Stunden hat Booking.com das für uns geklärt.
Das Hotel ist Personaltechnisch total unterbesetzt. Hier arbeitet die Barkeeperin tagsüber im Service oder in der Küche. Dementsprechend haben auch die Drinks geschmeckt :/ All-Inclusive ist hier nicht All-Inclusive…wir mussten alle Getränke, die wir gerne trinken on top selber bezahlen. Ein einfacher Havanna-Cola 5€ (wobei hier nur Pepsi angeboten wird) Sämtliche „bekannten“ Marken-Spirituosen sind nicht im All-Inclusive Paket mit drin. Des Weiteren gibt es zum Abendessen Wein aus der Maschine (TetraPack)…und schmeckt grausig. Das Geschirr war zu jeder Zeit schmutzig. Zum Frühstück/Abendessen gab es immer das gleiche zu essen. Die Gurke war schmierig und wurde zu oft im Kühlschrank zwischengelagert und wieder serviert. Mittagessen haben wir uns geklemmt.
Alles in allem ist sie Aussicht vom Balkon der Hammer…aber das Hotel insgesamt nur zarte 3 Sterne wert…

Das Zimmer (Juniorsuite) war sehr großräumig und gut ausgestattet mit schönem und großem Balkon. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet waren hinsichtlich Auswahl und Geschmack gut.
Freundliches Personal.
Obwohl Meerblick gebucht, war der Blick nur seitlich heraus (Richtung Flughafen); zwischen den Matratzen haben wir benutzte Socken vorgefunden, Zimmer wurde 1 x nicht gereinigt, einmal wurden gebrauchte Handtücher entfernt, jedoch 1 Handtuch und Bodenmatte nicht ersetzt, WIFI auf dem Balkon war sehr instabil.
Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es nur 3 Kaffee-Automaten für ca. 180 Personen (bei Vollbesetzung), d.h. man steht eigentlich immer Schlange um an einen Kaffee zu kommen, oftmals fehlten Tassen und Saftgläser an den Automaten.
Die Auswahl im Restaurant wurde ab 20:30 geringer (obwohl das Restaurant bis 21:30 geöffnet hat), einmal haben wir im Restaurant 20 Min. (und erst nach Nachfrage) auf die Getränkebestellung gewartet, 1 x gab es keine vorrätigen Teller mehr und wir mussten 5 Min. auf neue warten
+/- Frühstücks-Buffet (Auswahl und Geschmack) sehr gut, allerdings gibt es nur 3 Kaffee-Automaten für ca. 180 Personen (bei Vollbesetzung), d.h. man steht Schlange um an einen Kaffee zu kommen
- es fehlten oftmals Kaffeetassen und Saftgläser an den Automaten
Das Personal war stets völlig überfordert.
Während der Hauptnutzungszeit (zwischen 10:30 und 12:00) des Poolbereiches wurde dort eine defekte Fliese im Poolbereich lautstark herausgehämmert und anschließend ersetzt (diese Lärmbelästigung könnte man z.B. auf den späten Nachmittag verlegen!).

Hotellihuoneesta puuttui wc-paperi ja saippuan joutui erikseen pyytämään resepsuunista. Huone ihan ok, mutta 4-tähden hotelissa pitäisi olla minibaarin täyttö edes veden osalta.

Sijainti oli kiva, ei ihan ytimessä, mutta sopivan kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta. Hotelli oli rauhallinen. Aamupala ihan hyvä. Saatiin automaattisesti upgraidaus junior sviitistä sviittiin. Sviitti ei nyt ollut muutoin erikoisempi kuin isompi ja poreamme, mutta siisti ja kiva ele. Lisäksi sairastuessani puolisoni sai hakea minulle huoneeseen päivällistä, vaikkei se kuulunut meille ja eivät halunneet maksua siitä.
Aamupala ei ollut niin fresh kuin olisi toivonut. Vihannekset vähän nahistuneita ja mehu automaattilitkua. Monipuolinen kuitenkin ja tuoreita hedelmiä sekä leipomuksia.

The food and local drink is awful, ate out after the first lunchtime all week and bought our own drinks from the shop. Also the entertainment was like a caravan park, poor.

Very clean, modern room, private balcony. All inclusive food/drink enjoyable, nice variety at buffet. Friendly staff. If you’re looking for a quiet, beach relaxing trip, location is perfect, out the door and straight on the beach. I also liked the info link sent by the property beforehand.
Could’ve been a little more evening entertainment, as it’s a quiet area, there’s not much to do after dinners over and suns going down.

The rooms were big and modern.
There is free parking outside the Hotel.
We got an upgrade to a junior suite but unfortunately it had no sun on the balcony till about 3.30pm.
The room wasn’t cleaned, we were there 5 days and the sheets were not changed once. There was no bin apart from in the bathroom, we filled this and moved it into the hall and piled rubbish around it , empty bottles and so on and it was taken away on the 3rd day. We tried putting out the sign on the door and yes Someone came in and made the bed to a fashion but didn’t really tidy the room.
I expect a Hotel I’m paying £150 a night to clean the room and change the sheets every day , isn’t that normal ?
Tea and coffee was replenished when I asked for more but not until I asked for it, but you have to go to the bar and ask for the little creamers, they won’t replace them.
This Hotel sits on a headland and is incredibly windy , blowing a gale most of the time .
You can walk into the local town El Moderno which takes 20 mins , for the first 10 minutes of the walk you feel like you have been sandblasted . When you enter the town the wind is far less. It really is really WINDY .
We only had breakfast , the coffee from machines is terrible , the orange juice from a machine is like water . Generally the food is average , if not a bit below average.
The noise , there is a deafening noise as people in rooms above drag chairs around in their rooms , often very late .
The Hotel rules are onerous , and irritating.
I rarely leave bad reviews but I feel people should really be aware of this Hotel . My advice is stay in El moderno . It’s a great little Spanish coastal town which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Location and sea view was lovely.. breakfast was great
Allocated a single room for a couple but told I booked incorrectly. Following day offered an alternative room but kept original option as balcony view was great/better than alternative.. and we made do with a hard mattress small double bed..
Staff kindness was mixed.. some not good and some good..
No need to charge extra for a room safe nor take a deposit for a cup to drink from at the pool bar.. and a voucher system for pool towels… none of this felt good for what could be a great hotel..

We were upgraded (free) to a larger suite which helped. Views great, pool area good and food generally had great variety. We went half board, frankly unless you intend to really hit the booze, all inclusiving isn't worth it. 20 minute stroll into Medano for some excellent tapas for lunch. You could also swap your dinner for a lunch if you wanted to go out for an evening meal.
A couple of days windsurfing in Medano also added to the fun.
While the variety and quantity of food served was good, it was let down a little by at times cold chips and over boiled veg. Rest of the good was great though.
