Centrale locatie, goede bedden. Goed ontbijt. Vriendelijke ontvangst.

The location was very good for eating out in the evening and exploring the little streets and walking outside the walls. They were very helpful in explaining the parking system. Basically you park in the car parks excepting p1. You get a pass from the hotel on leaving which you use to pay with. Don't use your ticket. You can then park in P1 or P2 for 30 minutes free. This gives you time to return your pass. We were parked in P4 which is a bit of a trek in the heat. Don't take much luggage. Fine in the morning walking back when it was cool. The room facing the courtyard at the back was well air-conditioned and quiet.

The location was great, the staff were so friendly, the manager resolved our problem in the middle of the night and took responsibility.
When we came back in the middle of the night, tired and wanted to sleep, the room was full of small coakroches, they were all over the room (on the bed, on the floor, and on the walls) but when we contacted the emergency number, the manager found for us another room in another hôtel for our stay and he was so helpful and nice. Unfortunately, this happened in such a beautiful hôtel.

Nice sheets and pillows, quiet and great location if you want to be within the walls of aigues-morts
The entrance and bar looks luxurious but overpriced and empty
Be extra careful when booking your room. On booking.com they only show the nicest rooms with jacuzzis, they also say it's a hotel/spa which is completely erroneous. The spa is only during winter times and most rooms are really basic with tasteless art and decorations. The family room is like a youth hostel with no privacy for the adults.
We paid over 200 euros for the night, thinking we would have all the luxury proposed on the site. Upon arrival we were very disappointed by the room and tried to find a solution with the host. Instead of offering a kind customer support, the host was extremely defensive and unapologetic for the mix-up. He offered nothing from his side and left us feeling like it was our fault for not knowing they were falsely advertising.
We will not go back and I highly recommend staying somewhere else.

The location. The welcome and friendliness of the staff. The comfort of the bed. The patio.
The shutter of the bedroom did not close so the flashing light was disturbing.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location to explore Aigues-Mortes. staff were really helpful and communication was great.
Windy stairs but as it is a beautiful staircase you have to forgive.

Perfectly located in Aigues Mortes, extremely authentic, legend sais it was the very first hotel in the town. Stairs are incredible, staff very friendly, the patio in the back yard feels like a coccoon, + they are pet friendly and have Family rooms for a couple with 2 kids. What more can you ask for? oh yes, complimentary parking in the almosts all the parking lots aroud the town except for P1, but P2, P3 and P5 are just as convenient, I don’t even know why P1 is P1…
This is why I so highly recommend this hotel, it is a treat. Enjoy your stay!
if I really had to think about a negative point, I would eventually say there is no elevator, if that could be a negative point?

The hotel is situated just a stone's throw away from the city center. In less than 200 metres, you reach the central market place with several dining options, cafes and bars. This notwithstanding, the hotel itself is very quiet. The staff at the reception is very welcoming, kind and helpful - way above average. We were travelling on bicycles and were welcomed very friendly even in our sweaty sports gear, and offered a safe and spacious garage to park our cycles over night. The rooms are tiny but completely sufficient for a one or two night stay, the bathroom is well equipped and spacious, and we loved in particular the little balcony infant of our room facing the street.
Aigues-Mortes itself is a lovely little city with a lot of history - definitely worth a short trip if you're down in that area.
...that I couldn't stay longer and test the in-house restaurant. :-)

Centrally located in the stunning old town of Aigues-Mortes. Mosquitos are a big issue but our welcoming host made sure that we understood how to prevent them entering our room. V v good advice.
There was nothing that we did not like.

We really enjoyed the hotel. The location inside the walls makes it easy to walk around and get a good feel for the town. It is close to cafes, restaurants, and sights. It is in a quiet street. The room we booked was for 4 adults. It was very comfortable and spacious with an entryway, separate toilet, and bathroom. The hotel is elegant with a beautiful spacious staircase made of stones and no elevator. This was not a problem for us. Great bar and outdoor restaurant in the inside courtyard where a delicious breakfast is offered. We hIghly recommend it.
