Too expensive and noisy everywhere

Location.
Way over-priced on everything, booked an ocean view and had to pay extra and attend a sales presentation for a city view; high-pressure sales presentation wouldn’t take NO for an answer, food and drinks mediocre at best, too many stairs, gym facility poor for a new gym…

The location was great. easy walk to marina where there were lots of choices of good food at reasonable price.
No refrigerator in original booked room, I felt like they Do a bait and switch. Knowing you will pay for an upgrade. First event of trip Waitor at Baja brewing tried to short change us . Poolside cocktails averaged at $20. Original booking for trip was about $2500, with fees $3500, with upgrade $3900.

It is a beautiful hotel, with great design, and great location. The views can't be beat, and most of the facilities felt very luxurious and separated from the chaos of surrounding areas.
The front desk service was extremely lacking. It was very difficult to work with the front desk and concierge prior to our trip to arrange transportation. My husband tried extensively to send us a bottle of champagne to our room, and they completely dropped the ball and did not do it. They also had terrible communication and expectations around setting up reservations. I tried to reserve a dinner table - and they did not seem to have my reservation. We were also not told that we needed reservations for the pool, which was very frustrating to not be able to get a chair, for the price we were paying for the hotel.
The DJ on the rooftop was fun, but shook the top few floors of the hotel all night until about 4am. We wanted a restful nights sleep in our suite on the 5th floor - and were kept all night by the shaking of the DJ.

the hotel rooms where ok.
I was overcharged 900$ when I was checking in and after a month and few days, this money +500$ safety deposit are still not back in my account. I’ve been in thousands of hotels around the world and never I had such an issue. I’m basically calling almost every day to ask what happened with the transfer and every day is the same, we will check with accounting, oh they are waiting for a signature from whoever, oh they will transfer them soon, but still nothing. If you choose to stay in this hotel, just be very cautious with the charges and better give them cash for the safety deposit, because it is not clear when they will return it!

Beautiful new building in a great location in Cabo. We paid to upgrade to a partial view room as it was slightly obstructed by the building in front of us, but it was well worth it. the room felt modern and comfortable and I loved the sliding glass doors that opened up the whole room to the terrace. my only issue is that there was no way to fully regulate the temperature of the jacuzzi on the terrace as is would be burning hot if you left it on for too long and got cold if you turned it off, unlike hot tubs I’m used to where you can set a temperature to regulate at.
The constant harassment to listen to their “membership” pitch. it’s basically a time share and it’s quite clear that this is the number one priority of their “concierge”service. They are so determined to get you in to their meeting that they will offer free three night stay in the future and to pay for multiple activities you want. I refused for several days until I finally caved. The meeting with the sales person felt like I was being strong armed into paying for this membership and that if we said no there were going to be some consequences. This was terrible experience and nearly ruined our time at the resort.

Loved the location central to everything. Very clean. The view was gorgeous everywhere you were.
The hotel tries to trick you into listening to a 90 min presentation by offering free breakfast when you get there. They are not clear on this until you get to the breakfast. They are kinda pushy on the whole thing. Also they push their tours on you. For example: I scheduled a jet ski with Viator and the hotel told me they didn’t know why Viator was taking my money when no jet skis were allowed on the ocean the week I was there. This was Cleary a lie since there were jet skis everywhere. They basically wanted me to rent their jet skis instead. I didn’t like this shady business they had going on.

Great hotel! the staff was very accommodating and our overall experience was great. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, and location. It's located right in front of Medano beach (which is one of the swimmable beach in Cabo) and with so many great restaurants around.
They gave us a different room than what I had originally booked. At first I was disappointed but as I was looking forward to stay in the newly renovated rooms with the jacuzzi. We still got a room with the jacuzzi and amazing views so we just made the best out of it. To compensate for this, they gave us a free champagne bottle which I appreciated.

the roof music was so loud that you couldn’t sleep - stopped at 2 am.
beds are hard as a rock

Loved the shower, and bathroom, the size of the room, the TV channel selections, and the roof top bar/pool area.
All the stairs to get to the restaurant for breakfast.
1.5
the location and onsite beach restaurant is great
they constantly try to sell you time share memberships. the value for the price of the room is low, a city view costs $500 a night and they charge $1.50 for in room horrible coffee packets. reservations for an chair on the beach comes with a sales pitch and minimum bar tab.
5.0
Cleanliness and the friendly staff willing to accommodate any requests we had.

It was an excellent place to stay. Clean and convenient!
I didn't like all the stairs and confusion getting around the property. I didn't like that there wasn't an ATM on property. Also, the hot tub and a very loud clicking sound the whole time.

The breakfast was good. For the most part the staffs were helpful.
My first at Cabo Villa, I was disappointed because the room that was advertised and I paid for wasn't available. And when I told the front desk that not the room I wanted they told you should be happy because the room they offer me is more expensive. The next day I took a tour of the hotel, I found out that the room I was lead to believe was unavailable, they had a few that were unoccupied. The oriental breakfast wasn't to my liking. One of the security guard was very disrespectful.
