Great breakfast in pleasant surroundings and our room was very comfortable and clean when we arrived.
Sadly we came back to our room to find that it had not
been made up from the previous night. The night staff were able to bring us clean cups and replacement coffees etc but it was an obvious and basic oversight

Location was nice quiet. Peaceful,Breakfast was very good.Well laid out room.
Nothing apart from WiFi wad really poor.

The setting is lovely. We loved the bowling alley in the basement.
My room wasn't very clean. A lot of hair everywhere and biscuit crumbs on the bed side table. The bed was clean though so survivable!
The dining area slightly lacked character.

A modern hotel set in a beautiful location.
The shower was broken.

The room was excellent. The setting was beautiful.
A lot of the value-add hotel facilities were closed (pool/spa). Also, the bar operated a card only policy. Also, did not have Sky sports in the Sports bar...

check in was quick, but i beat the rush.
Staff were pleasant enough.
Room was ok.
Sorry, but there was nothing else good that i can say at this point, if the price was reduced to suit then i might stay again...thats a big IF
TV was small Remote control batteries were flat and despite contacting reception 3 times that evening they were not replaced.
Room looked out over the entry to hotel. Can here people and the smell of smoke people outside smoking.
Breakfast was very expensive £15was extortionate, the food was cold/ luke warm. the sausages were not cooked properly.
eggs were..err..well.....not good enough to even give to a dog.
The evening menu - not much choice and over priced for what it was.
The hotel is not as luxurious as it makes out to be.
The bathroom was not the best.
the water flow was appalling.
Toilet flush ok but toilet refill took 10minutes 15 if some other room was using water too.
However, talking to other attendees, there are better hotels nearby at half the price, and better food and services.

good, quiet location, great views, good customer service
a little overpriced for the standard of room, breakfast should be included for the price

Set in lovely grounds, main areas nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner food was lovely. Bowling was a nice addition.
Bar was closed when returned from night out. Hole in bar area ceiling, soft furnishings in room dated, lights not all working, same with lamps in room. Swimming pool not opened yet in email received last year said it would be for our stay and we weren’t advised otherwise. Over priced for standard of room especially when not all facilities were available. Hopefully the refurbished will continue into the rooms.

The breakfast was nice and a good selection.
The room spacious and was comfortable.
Overall clean and tidy.
Quite expensive hotel.
Some of the leisure facilities were still closed for renovations, although advised.

Room was great
Breakfast was fresh and lovely
The shower in the bathroom just needed to be a little cleaner as you can see that the white seals around the border appear dirty
Temperature in the room was a little on the cold side and I couldn't work the appliance

everyone was friendly and it’s a lovely hotel & spa

Felt cosy and the beds were comfortable. Lovation is very peaceful and the whole hotel was clean and scenic.
The room was awrfuly cold when i arrived. Tried using the heater but turns out it was a fan! Cosidering the weather recently i would of expected the room to be a little warmer.

Large property, nice location, bowling alley was fun. Staff were lovely. Nice large fluffy towels in the rooms. Definitely ask for the newer rooms.
Bed was very soft and well used. Definitely need a new mattress. Poor quality sausages at breakfast as no flavour and a very floury texture

Room was extremely hot even though heating was not on was uncomfortable despite having 2 windows open. Booked a Double room and was given a Twin had to change

The warm welcome, location and overall cleanliness, the restaurant staff are very thoughtful and pleasant, the food exceptional
The cost of a drink, the parking was limited and even though the food is exceptional the choice of food is not extensive enough.

Window needed cleaning in room, it was mouldy

Good location, nice view
Poor overall attention to detail - broken lights, filthy bedroom windows, room phones to reception not working.
Noisy guests outside past midnight.
