The location was perfect for our trip Close to the motorway and main roads that we wanted. Breakfast was very good delicious cooked breakfast well presented and hot .
As our room was at front of hotel by a main road was very noisy. It really was only complaint.

Good location
Rooms quite warm

Despite the advertised 11pm bar closing time, the bar closed at 10 on Saturday because they said "not worth it with no customers". It is not a very sociable place, B&B at best not a hotel. The blinds were broken, the window levers were broken, no air conditioning, electric fan broken. It could be a great place with some TLC and proper marketing and management.

Everything. Staff, accomodation and food was spot on.

Had a reservation in restaurant on 11th, unfortunately some of our party were delayed on motorway,so we asked to change time of reservation staff were very understanding and accommodating. When we eventually ate all enjoyed meals and service was very good, staff very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was very nice and a decent size.
Room wasn't very clean, there were clumps of dust along the skirting board.
When going to the room there was a pile of decorating stuff at the bottom of the stairs and then the loft hatch was hanging open at the top of the stairs.
The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom and the bedside light did nit work.
The kettle looked so bad that I didn't use it

Great location, warm, welcoming staff, great food and rooms, decent parking. Everything was clean and tidy, and a great place to meet my friends and catch up, away from the rain at Sywell.
The only thing I didn't like was the mattress on my bed, which was very springy (meaning the springs were noisy and twangy any time I moved in the bed). The mattress felt worn and let down an otherwise flawless stay.

The bar and restaurant was nice and the food was also good. Staff were friendly
Considering this hotel had won '4 in a bed', which was obviously a sell point from reception showing the result. I would say things have slipped. The toilet didn't flush very well, there were cobwebs around the wardrobe and the blind could not be raised or closed.

Friendly staff and good size room. For the price the room was good and breakfast was ok.
Attention to the small details could be better ( having boiling water to make tea at breakfast with a better quality tea rather than pg tips)
The bathroom was clean but tired in need of a refurb or a deep clean would help.

breakfast too expensive

Location, high standards, traditional service.

Arrived quite late so no chance to enjoy what looked like a busy restaurant, but did get to examine the menu briefly and what a shame we got there late - Looked very nice. If the breakfast was anything to go by we missed a treat. Great size room which was immaculate. Good size TV and full drink making facilities. Bath and shower with perfect water temp without any messing about with anything. Room was reasonably quiet, very quiet in fact until maybe 7am when traffic noise apparent but not too intrusive (we faced a road room 9) I mentioned breakfast, but worthy of another reference - it was simply excellent - cooked to order with table service, very nice. And you get to pick your table, something we are both grateful for when visiting hotels.
I'd be being picky here, it was so good elsewhere any minor points are completely irrelevant

The sheets and bedding were clean and the room was well decorated.
Outdated bathroom with cheap and wobbly/ damaged toilet seat, very limited bathroom products, road noise. No room/ WiFi information not even a menu .

We liked the location of the hotel.
We unfortunately missed out on breakfast on Sunday morning as we had an early start. Breakfast started at 8am on a Sunday.

Cosy & comfortable. Love being able to have a great meal in the restaurant and a drink and not having to drive anywhere afterwards
Nothing we didn’t like

The bed was firm.

It was well located for our drive from east to south west and warm on a very cold night.
Very noisy people in the room next to us, we had to complain to the staff twice before the other guests quietened down.

Excellent location for our trip to the rugby union ground.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, despite being extremely busy. Without us even asking, a member of staff booked a table in the bar area for an evening meal as we’d left it too late to secure a table in the restaurant.
Lovely tasty breakfast.
The only downside was the temperature in the room - it was like a sauna! The thermostat was on the lowest setting so we had to open windows.

Stayed whilst visiting for Granddaughters birthday. Extremely accommodating for "birthday dinner"! Very clean, tidy and everyone very friendly and helpful. Have stayed previously, and whilst also good, can see quality has been raised.
Nothing negative to add.

We was made really welcome, it’s a pity it did have a lift to the second floor, breakfast was just right
No lift
