The location, not to far from Brecon, and the host was lovely lady!
9.0
The breakfast, location, freindly staff and it had a fridge.
The single glazing, there was a lot of condensation and as it was very close to the main road, it was a bit noisy.

Happy with all aspects.

Nice quiet location. Parking was easy. Easy to locate keys to entrance door and room on arrival with clear instructions for finding our room. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. A very warm welcome at breakfast the next day. Nothing was to much trouble when ordering breskfast.
Although a good arrangement with the keys to the property and room made available as 'self service',it is nice to have an initial meet and greet by the proprietor. Having owned a B and B, I do understand that this is a huge commitment due to the varying times of guest's arrival, and may not always be possible. The only real issue was the interference with the
TV picture.

Comfortable and clean room with comfy beds too. The house is lovely too. Staff really friendly and had a great breakfast to set us up for a walk up Pen Y Fan. Will come back!
Nothing.

Lovely room and breakfast surrounding field was lovely staff lovely and right by pen y fan
No restaurant so we had to drive quite a while to find a McDonald’s for dinner. Disappointing

Lovely room, beds very comfy. Lady taking our order at breakfast was very friendly. Location great for seeing waterfalls and hiking pen y fan.
Room slightly on the cold side for our liking, but were blankets to make up for this.

A beautiful guesthouse, which although has been managed by the same person for 40 years, has seen updating and modernisation, which is often overlooked and can leave these smaller places looking tired. The WiFi was fast, the breakfast was excellent and all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and made sure my daughter and I had a lovely stay. A great base for Pen-y-fan and we will definitely use again.
Nothing not to like.

easy parking . good check in service . lovely big room everything needed for a comfortable one night stay
The lounge was cold so didn’t feel inclined to sit in there , shame as it’s a lovely room , but I guess with the way fuel
prices are unless they knew someone was going to be using it they wouldn’t heat it unnecessarily but it was a shame .

We arrived early, mid-afternoon to find reception hadn't yet opened, but keys and instructions pinned to the door meant we were easily able to access the room and get out again for late afternoon exploration.
Room is comfortable, breakfast was very good with both cooked and cold options. Stops serving earlier than most places.
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, all round: well-situated for exploring the Brecons and would recommend.
There's a rule forbidding consumption of takeaway meals in your room. Fair enough if it's to prevent curry spillage rather than fish 'n' chips from the newspaper, but do be aware there is an issue with availability of evening meals in the area and currently winter (2022-23) a GREAT deal of local road closures. Really, really recommend booking somewhere unless you're happy with McDonald's, and currently, allow a LOT of extra time to find your place and don't rely on Google Maps which doesn't know about the road closures!
Given all this, that rule about eating in the room does seem harsh.
There wasn't any hot water in the sink for hand washing when we arrived mid-afternoon. I didn't need a shower so didn't try that.

Nice stay, quite far away from everything - but it is a plus as well. It is quite. The breakfast was OK.

Room was very nice and comfortable. Had everything I needed and close to the Brecon Beacons for the Fan Dance race. I didn't have chance to have breakfast as I needed to leave early but I was offered a choice of cereal etc instead.

Wonderful staff, all super friendly and couldn't be more accommodating with requests and help on the local area. We stayed in room 3 which was very clean and spacious and had a lovely view. The hotel is in a great location to explore everything the Brecon Beacons have to offer and is lovely and quiet which makes sleeping very easy and comfortable.
Breakfast service was great and the food was fresh and filling. Really great little B&B and amazing value for money. We will definitely be going back and recommending to all.
Nothing could have been better and I will be going back and recommending to all. Amazing location, lovely stay and great location. This place gets a 10/10 from us.
