I loved the room which was to a high standard and immaculate. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much. First rate.
Nothing to dislike

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. I appreciate the fact that the shower room was separated from the toilet where the latter was right after the entering the room. The shower room however, and an extra sink were close to the bed. I liked that. There was also a nice balcony with a view to the mountain. Overall the room was very nice and so was the location.
There was a bad smell coming off from the toilet. Keeping the door closed, seemed to work. Black out curtains are needed, in my opinion. The only thing that made me wonder, was that for a 100€/night, they changed my towels only once during a 3 night stay and they never changed the sheets. I would have expected at this price, to have the sheets changed as well.

The room was larger than expected, received good day light and there was a lovely patio outside to sit under the pine trees, to watch the world (often donkeys and cats) go by. Yannis is a wonderful host, very helpful with tips where to eat and hikes around the island.
It was very early spring when I stayed at Piteoussa and the weather and floors were fresh. It would be helpful to have small carpets or guess slippers in the room for guests staying at that time of the year.

This is a true gem of a find. What did I like about it? My room was beautiful! Clean, very nicely decorated, a huge extremely comfortable bed! mod cons & unfussy. The bathroom was exceptionally nice too with an excellent shower. You’re staying in a five star hotel!! A four minute flat walk from the port, quiet and tranquil!
I have no complaints and will be returning!!

very comfortable room, in a relaxing setting. We had a little terrace in the backyard. Though the big backyard had some construction material in the back, we enjoyed our corner of it in the shade of a Santa Rita tree (the one with the dark pink flowers). The owner was very attentive and friendly. It was well situated, a short walk from the port and the restaurant area. We enjoyed walk s along the coast to both sides of the bay, and loved the afternoon in the small pebble beach of Avlaki 20min walk from the hotel.
3 steps separate the sofa area from the bed. Though we managed without problems and it looks good, it’s a bit inconvenient when trying to go to the bathroom in the the dark of the night without turning on the ceiling light.

It wasn't too far to walk to from the harbour but far enough away to be quiet. There was a courtyard to dry things, a fridge, corkscrew and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfy. This had everything we needed.
It was a little dark inside as it is off a courtyard.

Really nice and clean room with a comfortable bed and an additional sofa to sit/read/accommodate a child. In the center of Hydra, 5 mins from the ferry, port and main restaurants. No need to climb up the street steps to reach it from the ferry which is a plus if you have heavy suitcases/pram. Very friendly staff. Very quiet. All in all, a very pleasant stay
Location of sockets. There's a station with the coffee machine and kettle but no sockets near it to plug them in so we had to carry them to another part if the room and plug in there. Minor thing but maybe could be rethought.

The host was helpful, responsive and spoke good English. The location was excellent - barely a walk from the port but very quiet and private. The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidied up daily. The room might have been small but it had everything we needed/plenty of storage options. We enjoyed sitting at the guesthouse’s courtyard during night time.
We can’t think of such a thing.

Great room, with sitting area and terrace. Nice toiletries provided. Easy check in, check out. Very clean, with a comfortable bed. Great location 250m from town. Quiet. Would recommend.
Very small issue but if I had to.mention a negative, it would be no full length mirror in our room. Obviously a very small negative, barely worth mentioning.

VERY comfortable bed - so important and really appreciated. Room was light, well appointed and cleaned every day. Extremely good value for money.
Nothing - loved everything!
