What a lovely surprise this place is! The MOST beautiful location imaginable. The terrace of the hotel is in a charming courtyard looking out to the sea with is own private beach. The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good, but it’s the experience of being in this special place that we loved.

Porto Rafael is beautiful and this charming former villa is stunning.
Miriam, our host, was also so welcoming and helpful, a joy to meet very day.

a unique position in a small cove forming part of a tiny village centre with an integrated bar and restaurant and wonderful friendly service from Miriam and the team

Breakfast could be slightly improved but the overall experience was exceptional

the location was amazing! the host SO incredibly kind & helpful! it was very clean & for noise sensitive people, even though the bars & restaurant downstairs are open late, the windows are very noise canceling. although we had the windows open all night & it didn’t bother us.
the room was small but absolutely enough for 2 people, enough space for 2 bags & a desk & the balcony was EPIC! great to watch the sunrise.
nothing I can think of to be honest.

The location is picturesque and in a quiet location.
A bit of a parking problem.
A bit difficult to carry the luggages, but they will be tackling it soon.

Our first time in Sardinia, so wonderful! Such a nice people! Perfect locality. Beautiful almost private beach just at the doorstep. Ideal starting point for our sailing dinghy! Spritz aperol in the bar...

Location perfect for the place - Rafael is very small and unique so there's not much in the town. Host upgraded us to a balcony room which was gorgeous. Coffee machine and milk foamer in the room which was perfect. Nice decor and a very relaxed feel.
Shampoo could be provided alongside the shower gel, and in our room I think the bathroom needs a bit of a touch up or repaint. The shower especially.

Location and architecture
Cleanliness, small size of bedroom and bathroom, basic interior design

On the advertisement much is made of the location. It is a beautiful spot, in September it was peaceful and we could relax without too much noise. The balcony overlooked the beach and patio areas, great for just relaxing. Bedroom was fine, comfortable bed. Shower room was fine.
The advertisement for the hotel mentions a buffet breakfast, we were told they didn't do breakfast. They provided some biscuits. The restaurant was closed and there isn't another within walking distance, again we were not informed of this before arriving. The bathroom was OK but lacked some toiletries and the soap dish and toothbrush holder were dirty. There were unidentifiable stains on the wall.
