Fantastisch verblijf midden in het centrum van Lecce!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Lecce. De accommodatie ligt midden in het oude centrum van Lecce. We hadden een mooi appartement dat van alle gemakken was voorzien. De bonus is de geweldige daktuin met uitzicht over de stad. Heerlijk om hier aan het einde van de middag even te zitten en een aperitivo te drinken. Personeel is zeer aardig en gastvrij. Ontbijt was prima. Heel fijn dat je de auto binnen de Palazzo kunt parkeren als je dat reserveert en ze sturen ook een heel goede routebeschrijving hoe je er moet komen. Als je die volgt dan rij je zo tegen de poort van het Palazzo aan.

De badkamer was prima maar de douche zelf was wel erg klein. Het was niet echt een tegenvaller maar meer een constatering.

Green oasis in the heart of old town Lecce.

This palace is stunning. Its in great location, its very well decorated and the green atrium is incredible. Our room had a view on the main campanile and the rooftop is very green and lush with amaizng views. The breakfast was great and in an amazing room!

This property exceeded our expectations. While it was a B&B it was run like a 5 star hotel. I’m not a huge fan of B&

1) Location was perfect within Lecce old town 2) Facilities were outstanding! It really felt like we were staying in a Palazzo. 3) On-site parking in a secured courtyard … excellent 4) room was very spacious and decorated with old world charm 5) bathroom was very spacious and included a bathtub! 6) balcony overlooking the courtyard 7) entire property (room and common areas) were kept immaculately clean 8) staff was outstanding throughout, especially when my wife had a medical issue after office hours. They looked after her and ensured she received proper medical treatment …. even drove her to the care clinic and stayed with her until she was released!

Superb location - Lovely staff - Unfortunate event

The reception staff is exceptional. Very helpful and wanting to help where possible. with booking cabs, or making recommendations. The rooftop area is truly beautiful and a lovely spot to end the day. Location is perfect - truly centre of the action, shopping, restaurants, historical sites.

Sadly, due to an unforeseeable infestation of ants (due to heatwave?) on our floor especially, our room was truly overwhelmed by them. We can all deal with a few ants, but this was truly an infestation, they were everywhere. This made our stay less than ideal. Cleaning staff tried to help with any traps but there were far too many to get this under control; in our suitcases, all over the furniture and especially in the bathroom areas and even a few on our bed. The room would have needed to be fumigated. Obviously, this incident is not something the management could have foreseen but action to rectify the issue was lacking in urgency that would have been required.

A stunning converted palazzo - clean, convenient, well appointed and service with a smile

Beautiful boutique hotel, helpful staff and excellent location. The rooftop terrazzo was the perfect location to enjoy appertivo and the sunset over Lecce

Only downside was the offensive sewerage smell in our bathroom but the staff dealt with it immediately.

What a special place!

Amazing hotel in the centre of old town Lecce. The roof terrace with a view of the campanile was extraordinary and very special. Beautiful greenery and flowers made this hotel very special. Our rooms were wonderful and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful too. We had a large car and this managed to fit through the door gate into the parking area. Aircon worked well. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit. The children loved the pancakes especially.

We recommend Pallazzo Rollo amazing experience loved it.

It was just amazing and so beautiful. It has so much history and the decor just makes you feel like you’re part of it. We loved it. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Close to all the historical sites too.

To be able to park was great but beware you have to drive through the old city but this just added to another memorable experience in Lecce.

Character in great location, building matches a beautiful city with a movie set roof terrace

Lecce is a beautiful city and this grand old property does that beauty justice. You get the feeling that you are staying in a family home (which it used to be). The terrace on the roof is simply a movie set and could grace a Bond film with views across the city. The addition of a glass lift is a nice touch and helps with getting cases to and from the room Parking in the courtyard is easy The location in the centre of the city is very convenient Staff were super helpful and friendly

Fabulous oasis in Lecce centre

Our room was amazing, well suite really, as we were generously upgraded. Instructions were all clear, staff were very helpful in all respects. Loved the courtyards and roof terrace with aperativo.

This is more a general comment but does include Palazzo Rollo. It is sad to see these days with increasing prices that many hotels now do not offer items which used to be standard. For example - good shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, an iron and ironing board, or at least access to one.

Lovely in every way!

It is a luxurious palazzo in the historic center with a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy an aperitivo from 5-7 pm. The staff was lovely and helpful.

Driving into the historic center and parking in the courtyard is not practical. I suggest, if at all possible, parking for free on the street outside of Porta Napoli. You can also park in a paid lot on via Adua outside of Porta Napoli, but beware! the first lot you see belongs to the university and you will need a pass to get out.

I was treated like a Princess in the Palazzo Rollo.

Excellent Location - close to the Duomo Hosts were accommodating & helpful. Breakfast was tasty & varied. My Iris Room was exquisitely decorated & furnished: Modern lights, soft monogrammed towels, black stone sink, comfortable bedding, nice pillows, tea kettle, cookies, candy, new shower head… The floor common room was Spacious with chairs & books. There is a glass elevator where I heard a European Goldfinch singing outside in the morning.

Everything was perfect.

Amazing !! Loved this hotel!!!

We loved our stay and will definitely return and recommend this hotel highly. The dining-room was beautiful. (Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to stay for breakfast but it looked perfect!! )The rooftop is also beautiful with many many plants and an amazingly view of the city. The rooms were huge,clean and the decor made you feel like you are in a castle not a hotel. The staff was exceptionally nice and even came out to the main road show us how find the hotel . The location is in the heart of shops and restaurants. Over all a perfect place to stay in Lecce!! Can not wait to return.

This was one of the best hotels I stayed at on my month long trip to Italy.

The location could not be better. It was close to shops, restaurants and all the major sites. Plus the beautiful view from the roof top garden had to be the best in the city. It’s a lovely place to have a picnic or just relax.

Palazzo treat !

Excellent location ! Roof top with view on the campanile , perfect for aperitivo at sunset. Quiet room on the « cortile ». Great flexibility of the hostess for check in.

We will definitely stay here again for the awesome location.

The location was perfect. It is right in the middle of the action, yet the facility is perfectly shielded and insulated in a quite peaceful courtyard shielding you from the busy streets. Our room had a balcony with a view of the courtyard. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The main entrance to the facility is very tight for most cars unless you have a Fiat sized car.

A delightful place to stay in a modernised old Palazzo and centrally located.

Palazzo Rollo is an old Palazzo which has been magnificently modernised, and is very centrally located. We were given a truly splendid room with high ceiling, very clean and overlooking the Cathedral tower. There was a wonderful view from the roof terrace which was open for 2 hours (6-8pm) in the evening for drinks and small canapés. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Overall a delightful place to stay.

We were room only so did not have access to the lounge or other reception rooms. The seating on the terrace should have been cleaned prior to the terrace being opened in the evening since numerous pigeons had left their mark.

Superb

Stunning b&b in a palace from the xvII century. The palace is right in the historic and gorgeous center of Lecce. The suites are beautifully appointed with a charming contrast between modern inside and the antique outside. The terrace on top of the palace is dreamy and the view is fantastic. The staff is great. Just outstanding.

Beautiful traditional airy rooms with excellent air conditioning too for the very hot weather. Extremely helpful staff and great location.

Great to have a lift but it will be an exceptionally good place to stay when all the building work is completed.

Pallazo Rollo is in a great location and has a magnificent rooftop garden not to be missed!All the bedrooms are situated discreetly behind a set of double doors off a large hallway with beautiful furniture. What a lovely a place to stay, made you want to return to Lecce. All the staff are very helpful

My first visit to Lecce!

I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! It was within 1 minute of the main square and all shops and restaurants. I will not hesitate to stay at this place again. The staff were wonderful. Lecce is truly “molto bella “!

Finding it with a car 🚘 was not easy but with the help of 2 locals we did get there with ease! Please email the hotel to get the name of the road (SATNAV purposes)so you enter the centre from the right point of entry!
