About this house rental
Togetherness AND privacy! Your extended family or social group can spread out in this former beloved Taos Bed and Breakfast now exclusively for you! Enjoy the amenities of the former BnB - each room has its own bathroom, fireplace and relaxing space - plus, enjoy the hot tub and sauna, and spacious common areas! The Casa Europa is close to the town of Taos (a short 1.4 mile walk or drive to the historic plaza) but nestled in the peaceful pastoral river valley watered by the Rio Pueblo de Taos which flows from the historic Taos pueblo.
Guests at Casa Europa occupy a 7000 square foot two story building first built in the 1700s as a small adobe casita, and then added on to and remodeled to the highest standards. We have kept the names on the rooms that were there from the original Bed and Breakfast. This historic 7000+ square foot adobe was crafted by European immigrants who fell in love with Taos, hence the name Casa Europa. There are reminders of the original european owners throughout the place, including coats of arms (see pictures) and even battleaxes in the long and formal dining room, all alongside the large beam vigas and plaster we associate with Taos. Downstairs is the eat-in kitchen, dining room with fireplace that seats 12+, and the large main gathering room, with a fireplace, large-screen TV and a spiral stair to the library landing, above. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms with a shower, and some have bathtubs. Three bedrooms are downstairs: the Willow room, with a queen bed and a twin bed on a banco near the fireplace, the English Room, with a queen bed/fireplace/sitting area, and the private Spa Room (made for honeymooners with a separate entrance) with a queen bed, fireplace, and a steam room/ jacuzzi tub. Up the main staircase is another large gathering room with huge vigas (logs) in the high ceiling, with a foldout sofabed. There are three more bedrooms upstairs, which are the Taos Mountain Room, which has a queen bed and a twin bed on a banco near the fireplace, and another pullout twin bed below; the French room, which has a king bed and exotic tile on the kiva fireplace and a middle-eastern style mirror covering most of one wall, and lastly the two room Southwest Suite, with a queen bed in the bedroom area and a large sitting area that can sleep an extra person. The Southwest Suite also has a bidet and jetted bathtub. We have plenty of off-street parking on premises for your group. The kitchen has a 6 burner/ 2 full oven Viking Professional stove and all the kitchen necessities that can feed your large group or family. Enjoy green and county quiet that is still near town, with all the amenities you could want!

This is the second of Lincoln Quinteros' properties we've rented for a family reunion and the whole crew loved it. Each room has its own bathroom and fully accommodates
our large group. Taos plaza is about a mile away and can be walked to, but with traffic it's best to drive. We can't say enough about what a great host Lincoln is! We want to come back again

This property worked well for our family vacation in Taos. The 6 bedrooms with private baths made accommodating our family groups easy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for preparing meals and the large dining room allowed for enjoyable group dining.
Don’t expect pristine facilities. While this is an impressive house — in fact it was once quite a showplace — it is showing its age and could benefit from maintenance and refreshing. This is most evident in the exterior and landscaping.

My family of 3 generations spend a week each summer together. It is difficult to find a place where everyone can have their own space and also have spaces to hangout together. Casa Europa worked perfectly for us. The kitchen was very well equipped which was appreciated by those who like to cook. The dining area was ample for us who like to eat. Having each bedroom connected to a bath was a real plus.
We really enjoyed our week in Taos and hope we may return again someday.

All was just great highly recommended nothing to complain

We enjoyed our stay and everyone had their own space to getaway from the noise! Denise was extremely helpful! Lincoln, you are so great with communication and giving us the layout in advance!

Such a unique, large place with spacious rooms and very nice bedding and comfortable beds.

We really enjoyed our stay in this big house. We liked having separate bedrooms and separate bathrooms that we didn't have to share. Everyone had their privacy, yet big dinning area was a place where we could spend evenings playing cards. I would be back!

Fantastic home. We couldn't believe how much room there was for our family. Beautiful place

So happy we found this gem for our vacation! Plenty of room for the whole family and a good location.

The house was exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious and hospitable. Very nice touch with the Christmas decorations. Also, the heated floors were amazing during our December stay. Definitely booking again.

Five stars all the way around. Fantastic property for a group of any kind, particularly a large family like ours. This home’s previous life as an inn/B&B created individual suites to allow privacy, with expansive common areas for eating and relaxing.
Kitchen is extremely well equipped and accommodated multiple cooks at one time, and two separate dining areas worked well for quick meals all the way up to our family Thanksgiving dinner. The front gallery with windows and bench ended up being our favorite spot both morning and evening, and we learned on the last night that if you sit on the couch to the right of fireplace and turn off the lights, you can stargaze right out the windows.
Our group included ages one to 86, plus two small dogs, and the home was well suited for everyone. The entire home was very well stocked, clean and comfortable when we arrived, and Linc was great with communication and questions.
We’ll be back!

Taos adventure with family. Family deweling with 6 bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms. Adequately supplied kitchen, laundry room. Abundant space for dining, watching television, games & library for the entire family. Spacious parking 6 vehicles. Nice radiant floor heating kept house very comfortable when temperatures are freezing outside. Several fireplaces, fire pit in the backyard ,plus a Jacuzzi & a dry sauna back patio.

This property was perfect for our needs! We were attending our niece's wedding in Taos, and we had 11 adults from Wisconsin in our group, mostly couples. Every couple was able to have their own room, sitting area, balcony/porch, bed and bathroom for getting ready! We enjoyed the group living, dining, and kitchen areas that fit our group well. It was comfortable and lovely. Our communication with Lincoln went above and beyond. He was clear and prompt with his communication and expectations. He responded to our emails within minutes. We highly recommend this property and would consider going back to Taos again simply to stay here!

If you want to experience the friendliness and beauty of the mountain area of Taos, this is the house for you. Located in the country, yet 2 miles from the downtown plaza full of stores, eateries, needed groceries as well as typical commercial stores, this well appointed home does not disappoint.
From it's fully applianced and impressive kitchen, it's extensive dining areas, and it's private bedrooms and bathrooms each complete with fireplace, this home checks all the boxes and then some.
The owner greeted us upon arrival and was generous and informative, answering all our questions.
I would highly recommend this house as it is the perfect home base for visiting the area sights, other small village towns as well as the Taos ski slopes and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A group of 6 women celebrated my 50th here and we could have held 6 more. It was great for everyone to have private space and bathrooms with lots of places to hang out together. Close to so many awesome things to do. Thank you!

To be honest, I was worried that Casa Europa would not live up to my expectations. It definitely exceeded all expectations. It was a wonderful space for getting people together with lots of space to escape the crowd as well! The kitchen was so well equipped and stocked with basics that we could cook the very first night. Lincoln was incredibly responsive. Everything one looks for in a vacation rental. I highly recommend!

Beautiful home but needs a deep cleaning, pest control due to insect infestations, and several fixes.
We were there during a heat wave, perhaps the hottest week of the year. The small air conditioner was broken and the house was unpleasantly hot the entire time. If the a/c was functional I don’t think it would have cooled such a large house. May be a much better experience in the winter.
Lots of insects in 2 of the bedrooms.
Some of the (originally nice) furniture is in need of replacement.
Overall, a really nice place but needs lots of work done to rate more than 3 stars. My wife suggested 2 stars.

Pros: The house is HUGE --- there is plenty of space for everyone to be together but at the same time have their own space when needed to relax or get away from the crowd. The kitchen is AWESOME --- two stoves made cooking a breeze. It is stocked with everything you need to prepare/serve food. Having two dishwashers made clean up much easier and quicker. We were able to host a larger family dinner for 20 one night and this house was PERFECT! Lincoln, the property owner/manager was FANTASTIC. He was quick to reply whenever I had a question and was very helpful. He was super easy to work with.
Cons: Part of the eclectic charm of the property is that it is older and different than newer builds. With that being said it could use some updating. The bathrooms/showers are very small and some of the furniture looks worn. During our stay the temps were up and there was a problem with the AC. Lincoln did his best to solve the problem by providing a swamp cooler for upstairs, fans in every bedroom, and an AC unit downstairs, but at night rooms were still warm which made sleeping difficult. One of MY errors was not checking to see if this property was ADA. The bottom floor has many small steps to get to different rooms so it was difficult for my dad and his scooter to navigate around. This house would be impossible for someone in a wheelchair.
Overall we had a wonderful time at this property and enjoyed our stay.

Great accomodations. Working with host was superb. One small issue was that the bedrooms were a bit warm on our summer evenings. Overall, a very good experience—loved each bedroom having its own bathroom.

This house is great for large groups with plenty of space to not feel on top of each other. Multiple outdoor areas are perfect for evening gatherings. We really enjoyed the stay and will be back!

12 adults and 3 small children gathered for a week long vacation in Taos. The house was perfect. Plenty of privacy with separate bathrooms for each bedroom. A nice patio and table in the back yard and a large table for evening meals. We would rent again!
4.8
Laidback mansion where a group can kick back and enjoy themselves. Close enough to downtown to be handy but far enough to remain quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is a cook's dream and made our stay easy.
4.8
We were in Taos for a family wedding. The mansion was incredible. Southwest design with room to play games, visit, cook, relax or be alone. Hot tub was wonderful. TV worked great. WiFi worked quickly. It was perfect for us. Highly recommend.
The mansion is on a road with curves, so pulling in/out requires extra attention.
Be prepared to enjoy a southwestern home with unique features.

We LOVED Casa Europa!! What a beautiful home. 5 of us, (all adults) decided to spend a long weekend in Taos and we were thrilled to find this gorgeous property where we could each have our own bedroom and shower, AND it has a hot tub--all for such a reasonable price when divided up between the 5 of us. The beds were super comfortable, great pillows and extra blankets, though we didn't need them because there was a bit of a warm spell during our mid-April visit. The kitchen was fantastic, well stocked with every type of dish and cooking implement that you could need. TWO ovens made cooking dinner for the 5 of us a real breeze. There were even spices and condiments available so that we didn't have purchase our own. Lincoln was an INCREDIBLE host, going above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and cared for. The hot tub was a huge bonus, and we all loved sitting around the kitchen table playing games, of which there was a huge selection for us to choose from already at the Casa. We wish we could have stayed longer to peruse the fantastic selection of books in the cozy library.
We do wish the house had been a bit closer to town, although for a couple of us the 1.5-ish mile distance wasn't far to cover. We did a couple of early morning runs into the Plaza, going along Upper Ranchitos Rd and though there were some cars, we found the drivers were very respectful of people on foot, even though there was no sidewalk on that part of the road into town. We would stay here again!

Property was clean and well equipped and stocked for large groups, with many beds/bedrooms, bathrooms for each and catering style kitchen. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of parking and it's a lovely house, with thick adobe walls, skylights and nice linens. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for a big group. The 2nd living room area upstairs was nice.. the kids could watch what they wanted upstairs while the adults watched tv downstairs. We really enjoyed our stay!
4.8
Good place for multiple families. No views like some of places we have stayed in Taos but everything else was fine.
4.8
Ideal stay minus the lack of hot water for 12 hours. Lincoln was communicative and had it fixed the next morning. Such a unique place and great location. Highly recommend.
4.8
Each of the 6 bedrooms have their own bath. The dining room table had plenty of room for the 11 of us with room to spare. The kit he range is awesome and we cooked most of our meals. There is a huge smart TV in the den and all 11 of us could sit comfortably. We used the hot tub daily Some of us also enjoyed the library. If / when we get back to ski at Taos we will definitely stay here again!
4.8
This property is ideal for a medium to large group. Six large bedrooms, with insuite bathrooms. Kitchen has 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, double Viking oven and 2 washer & dryers. Large living room with plenty of seating for the very large flat screen TV. Hot Tub and dry sauna available for soothing tired muscles after a day of skiing. Property is located an easy 30 minute drive from Taos Ski Resort. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quite property, near skiing at Taos.

What a great house with SO MUCH room. Easy check in and check out, the stay was wonderful.
4.8
Amazing place that had everything. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. Kids played hide and seek for hours. Made our skiing trip so much better. Thanks Lincoln for the hard work you put into this unique property
4.8
This house is amazing. The room are big and can accommodate any age. The location is perfect for downtown shopping and skiing at any local ski resort. We will be back. Thank you Lincoln
4.8
Comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for alll all of us. 5 adults plus 3 kids 8 to 12
4.8
We had a small group of family and friends come up to Taos for the weekend. This house was perfect to accommodate each family. I would definitely recommend bringing slippers or some kind of indoor shoe with you, as they do not allow shoes upstairs and we had a couple of tumbles due to socks on the wood floors. We did have to go out and grab some toilet paper but the host was very accommodating and helpful with special requests.
4.8
We loved this place! Big enough to feel like we had our own space (there were 5 families), and hours of fun for everyone. We were able to have large meals together, relax, and spread out. Very close to town. A little tricky getting in and out of the driveway - would recommend a spotter. Thanks for a great stay!
4.8
Huge place, plenty of room for the 11 of us. Bathrooms are definitely outdated but the hot tub was great.
