This was the worst place I have ever experience in my 45 adult years.

Nothing was liked. We felt it was a misrepresentation of description. As Confirmation number 3272643971, we did not stay there and left 2 hours after check-in once we located a room in an alternate Hotel. The staff said they were unable to reimburse and we should contact Booking.com.

The lobby was small with towels placed down due to leaks. We were E-mailed and told we could arrive early and have our luggage stored, however the luggage storage was in the lobby in open-view, under a console table without security. The site says there is a restaurant with a continental breakfast however there is not; staff suggested the neighbouring beach bar.The room was on the 3rd floor without an elevator, there wasn't a balcony, the window didn't open, there weren't any side lamps, there wasn't a chair, the bed was low and there were cigarette burns on the bed frame, paint was peeling off doors and furniture.

Superb

We always stay here when we go to Puerto Morelos, and for good reason. For the price, it is the best hotel in town: right on the beach, great pool, nice restaurant (service can be a bit iffy at times) comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Plus, the location can't be beat, just steps from "downtown"

There is a snorkeling company right next door and customers start arriving around 8 AM. They are excited, and hence quite boisterous and noisy, with lots of loud laughing, etc. A small price to pay for such a great place

Fun, good value beach hotel

Beach right there, lively bar and restaurant with good food, friendly staff

it’s a bit run down. my sliding glass door lock was broken and someone had rigged up a fix that could have easily been bypassed if an intruder was determined.

it was just okay.

It was right on the beach. the pool was well cared for and the beds were comfortable.

windows were not clean and latch was broken, there were no blankets and the curtains were mildewed and in disrepair. Staff did not offer to help seniors get luggage up to the 3rd floor.

Booked for 4 days and stayed for 1.

The air conditioner left a large puddle on the floor but it worked so that was one bright spot.

Exposed wiring from broken nightstand lamp was not safe for a 5 year old (or anyone really).

Ojo de agua is in a great location on the beach with a nice pool and lots of chairs. the hotel is basic and clean but in

location to the beach

it needs a lot of love! needs to be updated and repaired. would be nice to have drinking water available.

Good

The location was wonderful - right on the beach and next door to the diving shop we used. The restaurant was very good, the price was reasonable, and my youngest son loved the pool.

We rented two rooms. One was great, and the AC was super powerful. In the other, there was a smell.like bug spray, and the AC didn't ever cool the room, although it did make a good breeze. Luckily the nights were relatively cool so we just opened the windows and patio door.

Great place!

Staff were friendly and receptive to our communication. Nice lady cleaned room daily at noon. Location was right on the beach. Had a nice pool! It was lighted in the evening! AFFORDABLE!

A/C was really spotty and mostly didn’t work in a room. After staff tinkering with it and not having success fixing it, they simply moved us to a slightly bigger room a couple doors down for no extra cost :)

Excellent place to stay.

The location is great and close to the beach as well as a walk into town. Access to the beach club facilities is good and we enjoyed the breakfast at their restaurant.

cheap and cheerful. good location close to the beach and to town. room was fine, whole place needs an update but I only stayed for 2 nights and it was more than fine staff were super helpful and helped me with several things I needed to book has a small rustic beach town vibe which was fine for what I wanted

The lock of the door to the garden was brocken. The door was closed from the inside with a stick. I didnt feel very safe! The pool was green, unusable.

One of my favorite hotels in my favorite beach town in Mexico

We have stayed here 3 times and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The rooms, the staff, the pool, the location, the restaurant are all fabulous

More Mexican food on the menu, and not nachos, fajitas, burritos and burgers.
