I love the apartment, the terrace, the room and the kitchen
The bathroom
The water in the sink was leaky and smelly the first days and then the last days the shower kept blocking and smelling.
The staff were super helpful though.
3.5
Location and how big the suites are. Big bed. Plenty of storage. .
It could use better cleaning and new shower heads. Plus the sewer smell is bad initially. Understandable for Puerto Morelos.
Could use more than 2 towels in suite if staying longer than 1 day. Also more pillows.

These people are a fraud! They show photos of a beautiful, sun lit room as a suite! After you pay,and arrive, they place you in a wide tunnel room with only one window. The bedroom is boxed in and the air conditioner is located just above the bed....so cold air blows down on you as you attempt to sleep on a rock hard bed. There is new condominium being built right next door, and the construction noise starts at 7am every morning. This will be going on for years! When we attempted to contact the complex manager, they told us that this was the SUITE that we had reserved. They argued with us, and told us that the SUITE in their photos was not available! We stayed for 17 days, and there was NEVER anyone in that SUITE the entire time we were there. Our balcony overlooked an alley, and another building directly in front of that. We had NO HOT water for the first 3 days! Towels were like sandpaper against your skin! Kitchen was not stocked with enough cooking supplies to even cook a meal! This is the most misleading rental property that we have EVER stayed in! Be careful.... everything is NOT as their website shows!

The location, cleanliness
No drinking water provided, no coffee pot, glasses or cups. There was a small patio with a table but only one chair…the room was meant for 2 people. The fan did not work correctly…we advised the front desk but it was not fixed. There was nothing to place toiletries on in the bathroom, just a small space under the sink. The front desk was only open from 8:00 to 5:30.

It was a great traditional little beachfront hotel in a cute seaside town, far more fun than Cancun or playa del carmen
WiFi didn’t work

Great location right next to the beach where you can find some nice breakfast places. Walkable distance - over the beach or on the road - to the restaurants and town center. We had a 2BR apartment. Bed rooms were big, A/C did its work, bath rooms were functioning, kitchen had everything it needed. Please notice that Puerto Morelos is not for the party-goer, but for those who like a relaxing holiday at the beach. Only 20 minutes drive from Cancun airport.
The master bedroom should really have blackout curtains. As others also say, the (flood)lights of the neighbours light up the master bedroom all night long. Also we would have appreciated a few bottles of water, as we arrived late in the evening with no open shops nearby.

Good location. We only stayed here for our first night, after arriving at Cancun airport and before beginning our road trip. Easily reached by car from Cancun. Small hotel with a small swimming pool. Simple but suited to our needs for a good night's rest. Check-in was easy. We could park the car in the property. Walked to the beach for dinner and to a nearby bakery for breakfast.

Great room : big and beautiful, with a confortable balcony and a nice view.
4.5
Spacious apartment, AC and ceiling fan in the bedroom. Good location, 1/2 block sway from the beach, in a residential area a short 5 to 15 walk away (even closer with rented bikes) along the main street filled with restaurants and shops (the street is also closed off to car traffic on the weekends). The pool is a nice amenity, especially after a long day.
The only oddity is that staff is onsite only 9a-5p. If checking in after 5p, you will need to go a block away to the sister location.

Great having a separate bedroom and a beach club directly behind it. Good location. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Very nice value for a typical beach hotel. Beach towels available for a returnable $10 deposit. Taxis are always easily available.
No elevator. No air conditioning except for the bedroom.

The Area. It was locatet verry close to the Beach.
I had a booking for 6 Nights. At the checkinn i was asking if i can cancel the last night because in need to leaf earlier. They tell me they will think about it but can not promisse it. In the end they dont cancel it and charge me for the totaly 6 nights.
The Pool was dirty with a lot of sunncream inside. You can see it and you really can feel it when you come out of the water. They should chance the water much more often.
The Room was not cleaned every day. Just when we said they should clean it, the come an do it.

very dated

Perfect position, really friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice, airy room with a view. Don't need more from a beach hotel.
The plastic sheet on the mattress. I'm not a baby...

The location was great. The room was fine, spacious with a nice balcony and view but the furniture was a bit worn out.
There was no room service unless you specifically asked for it. We were told they were concerned about theft so they limited room service. Turns out the cleaner was lovely and good at her job but the front desk workers were doing what? Once service was requested the room was still not cleaned within a timely matter. The bed was not very comfortable. There were not enough beach chairs for the number of guests at the facility. We asked for chairs the day we arrived and they were never made available. When we asked the young man at the front desk to call for a cab he did but turns out we paid more than we should have. The young front desk attendants played loud music at the pool and it was annoying. They could use some staff trained in customer service at the front desk! It was the most expensive room with the least amount of satisfactory service that we stayed in during our extended trip to Mexico.

Well located.
Where do I start? I am 70 with a bad hip and my wife 66. On arrival, the young receptionist just looked at us while we struggled with our suitcases through the awkward meal front door. When showing us to our room he warned us it was on the 2nd floor and asked us if we wanted a hand with our luggage.
The room we were given was not the one shown in the photos. They said we had paid for a "category" of room which was nonsense. A category of rooms means that each room in that category is of the same standard. The room in the photo was far superior and at other sites they are charging more for the superior rooms which are in a different building.
Our towels were in a terrible stated and both had stains on them as well as one of the pillows. We asked for them to be replaced but our request was ignored. The toilet seat was broken. The kitchen cooker and taps were filthy. There was only one huge saucepan and one small frying pan in the kitchen. We had to heat water up in the frying pan.
Water pressure in the shower was very low and practically non-existent in the kitchen. Sitting on the balcony at night you can hear 2 or 3 televisions playing at the same time.
This could be a really good hotel if it was managed properly.

location and staff
the bed was a bit too firm and the mattress protector lost its elastic so slid around on the mattress. I would have appreciated a few more kitchen items but we managed. also we were able to get a toaster within 4-5 days of asking.

The staff were super friendly. The place was larger than expected and I love that we had a balcony. That drinking water was provided was much appreciated.
The door stop on the front door needs to be tightened. Small fix!

Location was great-steps to the beach and a nice walk to town
Bed was quite uncomfortable - hard mattress and less than luxurious linens. we had only 3 mismatched pillows.
2.5
It's quiet
Room smells mold, signs of water damage on the walls, doors and windows. There are even no plastic cups in the room. It's very expensive for the price

convenient location in town. two bathrooms.
misrepresented that there was a living room. the toilets were poorly functioning. the place is not maintained: broken tile, glass with crack in it, stains in the sink, corroding faucets, some windows don’t open, dirty dish sponge when we arrived. oh, and the whole building lost water one evening until the next morning.
there was no cleaning services offered. we had to ask the staff for new towels, to change the garbage, to borrow a broom. only on the second last day did we learn they will clean the room if we ask them to. why didn’t they offer??!!!
4.5
Loved the location, so close to the beach, and slightly away from the hustle bustle of town. It was still close enough to walk to the town for food, etc. We also loved the space for our family of 6- having two full bathrooms and privacy of two bedrooms was really nice. The back patio was nice too. We appreciated that we could check out (for a $10 deposit) beach towels (and chairs, but they were gone when we asked). The pool was small but enjoyable. The office was kind enough to store our luggage after check out until it was time for our shuttle. We appreciated the big bottle (with pump) of filtered water to drink.
The shower didn't have very good pressure for washing my hair after a beach day.
Housekeeping is not everyday, so be aware
Enjoyed the beach-chill vibes

location
photos provided are not of the room you will be given. 2 bedroom unit does not have a lounge room facing the ocean. mould on windows, hard beds and no balcony to fit a table.

good location close to the beach with good access. the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. the seating was okay. we didn’t use the tv. the bath vanity could have been bigger but it worked. biggest negative was the a/c only in the bedroom. we used the pool and it was fine. the front desk clerk was great.

I have stayed here before. The location is great and quiet, but just a short walk to the restaurants, grocery store and beach. I have typically reserved the "partial ocean view" apartments and they are wonderful with a great balcony and view.

The location was ideal
Just steps from the beach..
Very calm pristine area....very villagey. Sylvana...Danny and everyone that worked there were very kind, informative and gracious.

.
.but a TV in the master bedroom would work well.,....but that is so minor, because by the time we return to the room either after walking through town, or longing on the beach by the beach club...or dipping in the pool....no one wanted to see TV.
