excellent apartment, great beds and superb heated pool

booked this place for an over night stay on our way to our holiday destination. What an amazing place! The apartment had everything we needed, great beds, huge bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and best of all a heated pool! We received a lovely warm welcome from Dominique and were shown where everything was and were then left to relax. wish we could have stayed longer. a superb start of our holiday.

Rustige en landelijke omgeving, prima locatie om tot rust te komen

De foto's doen vermoeden dat je in een landhuis overnacht, het bleek echter een woonwagen-achtig houten huisje achter het landhuis te zijn.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved our stay.

The location was on a farm and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean.

The only issue I had was that the washer/dryer didn’t work correctly, everything else was great.

Spacieux, renouvelé récemment, la propriétaire adorable, qui a laissé des œufs de ferme fraîche! Convenante quand nous avons eu un enfant malade. Le jacuzzi!

Pas de savon dans la salle de bain. Pas de café pour la machine spécifique.

Cosy countryside home

Un logis des plus confortable avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour. Le spa étant un plus appréciable après une journée de visite sur les plages du débarquement et des musées aux alentours..tout étant à proximité ! Malgré la tempête qui a terminé notre séjour...nous souhaitons à nos hôtes tout pleins de courage pour ce mauvais moment.🙏 Tout était parfait 👍

The apartments and location are absolutely superb in every way. Very highly recommended.

This our third stay at Logis du Grand Pins. The apartments are absolutely superb. Modern, comfortable, beautifully laid out, in a lovely setting, well equipped and immaculate. The host, Dominique, is really welcoming and helpful. We will be back for sure. One tip - the property is just outside Bayeux and you need to programme the GPS to 14 Rue des Brunelles, Saint-Martin-des-Entrées. Booking.com needs to update their address details. C'est notre troisième séjour au Logis du Grand Pins. Les appartements sont absolument superbes. Moderne, confortable, joliment aménagé, dans un cadre charmant, bien équipé et impeccable. L'hôte, Dominique, est vraiment accueillant et serviable. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr. Un conseil : la propriété est juste à l'extérieur de Bayeux et vous devez programmer le GPS à l'adresse : 14 Rue des Brunelles, Saint-Martin-des-Entrées. Booking.com doit mettre à jour ses coordonnées. Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Excellent centrally placed location just outside Bayeux.

Well placed with plenty of parking, around 7 minutes outside Bayeux but really close to the motorway and very centrally placed. The apartment was new, very well equipped and comfortable with very friendly hosts (Dominique). it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful, relaxing and stress free!

The hosts were most welcoming, friendly and helpful . As they live next door, they responded promptly when we had a query and gave us information on sightseeing. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the property was tastefully decorated. The location is great for Bayeux and the D-Day beaches and museums. It is also in a quiet location with excellent Internet and television.

Beautiful location, great amenities.

This was a beautiful location, really friendly hosts (very little English to our very little French). Complimentary Washing machine and dryer available. Jacuzzi which can be booked for 1 hr (no kids under 12). Free parking on site. Felt very secure.

Upstairs lodgers were ridiculously loud stomping about and dragging chairs around until quite late. Not the hosts fault !

Amazing Place to stay in Normandy

This is a gorgeous property on the outskirts of Bayeux - a 6 minute drive to the centre of town. Cows in the pasture, beautiful gardens and very friendly host. There isn't a lot of English spoken here but we made it work. Thankful for Google Translate! There is a washer/dryer on the facilities to use and a hot tub for after the long days of sight seeing. This is a perfect central location to see all the sights of Normandy and a welcome retreat to return at the end of the day. It has a full-well-stocked kitchen. I would not stay here unless you have the ability to drive.

Charming country location in a beautiful setting.

The location was absolutely perfect. In the country, on a beautiful property, but only minutes from Bayeux. It was very comfortably furnished with all necessary items in the kitchen. Plenty, and I mean plenty, of towels. The bed was super comfy with very nice linens.

The upstairs was stuffy, there were no windows that could be opened.

The location of this property was perfect for our stay. We felt like we were on a farm with paddocks and animals outside our windows. There were lovely gardens and a pond with goldfish.Plenty of car parking right at the door. We rode our bikes each day into the pretty village with lovely shops and cafes. The house was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were lovely and so kind and helpful and also spoke English. They even gave us fresh eggs on our arrival from their own chickens. We enjoyed the spa pool, There was also a sauna.

Everything was so thoughtfully done that we didn't have to worry about anything.

(Self-catering) Almost everything you could need was provided - the only thing we can think of is that perhaps some UK visitors might appreciate a teapot - but that is being very picky! Everything was excellent - cleanliness, facilities, the peace and quiet - a lovely stay.

Convenient location, beautiful surroundings, excellent accomodation and great hospitality

We have found a little piece heaven in the Normandie countryside and will definitely be returning.

This is our second stay. Dominique and Bruno, our hosts, did everything to make us welcome. The apartments are spotlessly clean, equipped with everything we would need and really spacious. Our hosts made us really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The apartments are in former farm buildings and surrounded by lovely grounds.

Location absolutely ideal for visiting war memorials, cemetries beaches and Bayeux. Lovely quiet rural location. Accommodation was immaculate and host so welcoming.

Could do with another mirror in property but we managed so not a problem.

Idyllic location

Our arrival was handled smoothly and we knew we would be well looked after. Our cottage was nicely furnished and kitted out with everything we needed and the children loved the garden with its cats, hens and goats. It's a loverly rural environment but with good links to main roads and Bayeux is close by. We would happily stay here again as a couple or with the children.
