Across from the train station

The bathroom exceeded expectations as it actually had a small shelf for soap etc, where so many other hotels we've stayed at did not. Loved the Light around the mirror.

No elevator, but we were helped bringing our luggage up to our room. Breakfast was just okay. Rooms were very small.

Exceptional

Very convenient to the train station and car rental companies, and near by market. Staff was friendly, and facilities were clean and well cared for. Good value for money, breakfast at an additional cost met our needs before heading to D-day sites.

The best hotel for an early train ride!

As we had a 6am train to Pontorson the next day, Hotel Mary's was just next to the station, which was ideal, although it curiously took us a little time to orientate ourselves to find it in the first place. We were allowed to place our bags in the dining room first, which they kindly brought up to our room later.

There were some vagrants near the station, and they were a little noisy at night, but we were snug in the hotel, so it didn't matter. The signage to recognize the hotel could be a little larger.

The hotel was in a very down and out area of Caen with no parking, I would not feel safe walking outside of the Hotel and certainly not safe to park your vehicle.

Terrible bed that ruined my stay

Right in front of the train station, which is very convenient, and very clean.

TERRIBLE bed, extremely uncomfortable, which gave me terrible back pain. I wouldn't recommend it. Also, take into account that there is no elevator.

Great and glad.

The room is clean, both the beds and bathroom. The receptionist is kind and helpful. We enjoy the breakfast and we like the diverse sauces it offers. It is really near the train, bus and tram station, so it is convenient for us to deposit the luggage and to catch our train.

The room is smaller than expected, and we have to reconnect to the Internet every few minutes.

This Hotel is ok if you want an overnight stay or 2 two nights. It was very clean but basic. The breakfast was very poor. It is situated right next door to the Rail Station and as I have already said Ideal if you need a one- or two-night stay.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area.

Breakfast went great, several choices to choose from. plenty of coffee, and nice selection of juices, along with milk. The food was fresh, the entire breakfast area was spotless. We ask for an electrical adapter, it was brought to the room, quickly. .

Parking was a little tight, but we managed to get a space.

I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay.

Great location to the places I wanted to see. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, adequate, the free wifi was strong, TV functioned as designed, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was filling with bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, fruit juice, granola, etc. I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay. I recommend Hotel Mary's, Caen Center Gare.

Very clean and extremely comfortable bed.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was especially comfortable, and the room was VERY clean. The breakfast was delicious and a welcome treat after a long day of traveling.

Perfect stay, perfect value for my money. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location is perfect, just across the train station ; and yet the room was very quiet. The bathroom was incredibly clean, all new. The staff was perfect and sweet - I did not expect to have my luggage carried up to my room! The breakfast room is slightly "quaint", nice, but will soon be renovated

perfect for us as a place to go and visit attractions and a perfect staff

The welcome was outstanding. Maryse is an excellent and attentive front desk person. she single-handily took care of us and when we came back in the evening we found an impeccable room. I mean not just the cleanliness but also the the extra touch of folding our clothes and arranging our things. She calls it the “mom touch” (loosely translated from French). she even prepared us a last minute copious breakfast and two jambons beurre for our trip at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you Maryse, we will be back.

Friendly, excellent and comfortable.

Right next to the station for my early train the next day. The proprietess was charming and multi-l;ingual. The room was comfortable and quiet. The place was spotless and the breakfast was good.

I'd have liked a morning coffee in my room. Otherwise there's nothing not to like.
