Optimal location

Directly in front of the station, perfect position. Optimal back door for exits in case you have an early train the next morning or you have to come back late in the night. Room was optimal and had everything one may need. Very recommended for short or longer stays.

It was written is was "insonorized" but you could hear people in the corridor very well. But this is a minor inconvenience.

I would recommend this lovely hotel for anyone who likes simplicity and honesty

Perfect location across the train station. Very nice reception. Simple and clean amenities. Quiet room, lovely French breakfast. I loved every moment of it.

Good value for one night only

Good value for money short walk away from shops and restaurants.

Very rough area with groups of men hanging around asking for money. Opposite train station and trams.

Great host! stored our bags while we visited and let us have room early; very convenient location.

The location next to the train station is somewhat convenient

Dated decor with no AC or fan - nightmare in warm No fire alarm in the room Appalling ‘communication’ from staff about check in after 9pm Didn’t get any response despite chasing until day of arrival

Exceptional

Kind staff, and rooms looked quite good , well kept and modern, including WiFi access. Provided towels and soap. The location is quite great. It is right opposite the train station and there is a tram right outside, around three stops to the main downtown area and the chateau de Caen

Very accommodating host and great location

Despite it being a holiday and mixing up my check in time, host graciously let me into my room early, which I greatly appreciated. The location is fantastic, right in front of the train station.

A good place to stay for one night

The train station is right in front of the hotel. Although check-in normally starts at 17:00, the host let me in at 13:00.

The room was quite small. The neighborhood did not look safe at night.

Fair place to stay.

My objective was being close to the train station and rental car return. This hotel met those objectives. The room is small and fair overall.

Unbeatable location if you use trains to/from Caen

Small room and bathroom, but clean and with modern furniture. Very comfortable bed in which a soft flat sheet is much more appreciated than a duvet in May with 32 degrees Celsius, so I was happy to not find a duvet in this hotel. Rental car agencies for pick up/drop off are next door and the train station is just opposite, served also by tram and bus lines.

Check-in is a bit tricky and misleading because the reception is not located behind the door where "Hotel" can be read, but in the restaurant next door, which was closed when I arrived.

We enjoyed our stay here & were happy to get back to the hotel after a long day of exploring Caen & the sur-Mer

Clean, convenient location, quiet, safe & helpful proprietor. He stored our luggage when we got in early so we were free to explore Caen. He served us breakfast each morning and asked how our previous day was.

There was nothing to dislike.

Easy to be transported!

Excellent location, pleasant hotel owner and great prices!

The entrance system was a little confusing and the key system is a little different to operate.

The room was fine for one night. Right next to the train station, my train was at 7 AM, so the location was perfect

The bed was covered with hair of other people, I had to sleep in my clothes on

Everything! Very nice hosts, great location, walking distance to city center, very comfortable room, great shower, very nice breakfast. Would definitely come back!
