Location is excellent, awesome views, if you want to see a Toucan this is the place. Tonya and Kevin are great people and want you to enjoy your stay, they have great recommendations and the breakfast is #1, everything is very well maintained and the pool area is one of the best on our trip, full kitchen with all you will need (except the beer)
Can’t think of anything to complain about

Die Lage des Hotels, die Aufteilung der Wohnungseinheiten, die Anlage/Garten, die Führung
Die Doppelbetten sind für zwei Personen zu schmal, sonst alles perfekt

Location and facilities. Perfect for a getaway trip
Lack of food choices

Lush green environment, really good breakfast, super friendly and helpful owners, besutiful view from the breakfast area. Mango trees. Super friendly parrot. Very Nice pool!
Nothing really. Small development suggestion could be to have drinks to buy from the reception like water, sodas, etc.

clean quiet and cool
my only complaint is that it is a bit removed from downtown requiring taxi service most of the time. It’s remoteness is more than offset by the tranquility of the place. it is walkable to town and taxi fare is only $3000 colones

We arrived at the hotel around 9:30 p.m., we had a long day of travelling, without internet or wifi. the hotel sent us an email at 7 p.m. to let us know that we had 1 hour left at check-in. But we didn't have a chance to read their email. So we arrived at the hotel and the gate was closed. Unable to join them. I sent them a whatsapp, they never replied. I had to find me another hotel and in addition, he kept my payment. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I travel often, and this is the first time this has happened to me. very bad service.

The grounds are beautiful nestled up top in Atenas. You have views of the mountains and of San Jose at night. Breakfast is amazing with local fresh fruit and served with a view.

The views were beautiful. The breakfast was very good.Tania was amazing and very receptive to the needs of my family and I.
The appliances were turned off (I'm sure to conserve energy) so it took awhile for the refrigerator to get cool and cool our drinks.

The daily breakfast was something to look forward to, very enjoyable. Most appealing was the company of the host, Tania, to greet us each morning.

Very close to the airport and bus station. Great place to stay the night before a flight.
There is no AC in the room, but there was a fan and it never got too warm.

We loved the 2 bedroom villa
We loved the breakfast and the view
Well equipped kitchen for a 2 night stay
The 1 bedroom was a bit too rustic but did meet our needs
A bit far from restaurants
We ordered pizza which Tania (owner) helped facilitate

Just beautiful! I felt so lucky to come there.

We had a super cute cabin with a nice view that felt very private. Decently stocked kitchen too. The breakfast was pretty good. We choose this as a last stop between monteverde and the San Jose airport and it was so much more charming that the close by the airport hotels. It took about 40 minutes to drive to sjo. We spotted 2 toucans from our balcony! And we were charmed by the resident dog and parrot.
The cabins were very dark in the evenings, not too much lighting. The driveway up is steep so I wouldn’t want to arrive in the dark.

Nice bungalow, great place to spot birds!
The breakfast was top quality in our opinion, the staff were very friendly. great views at the breakfast area.
It was very noisy at night, especially street noises and many dogs barking. There were no hiking possibilities in the immediate surroundings, at least not that we found, but very convenient location for SJO airport.

Each day the hotel owner would personally prepare your breakfast, which, depending upon the day, could be eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, pancakes, juice and/or coffee - there were always a couple of options available. Everything was local, super fresh, and tasty (especially the omelets). The owner and her staff were amazing. The pool and pool area were beautiful - surrounded by trees etc. with warm water. The view from the outdoor dining area (overlooking the valley below and mountains above) was breathtaking and inspirational.
This is not a complaint but an observation. If you are looking for a 5 star environment then this hotel is not for you. If you are satisfied with more basic offerings in terms of where you will be sleeping, then you will be pleased. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom + kitchen + den unit felt like a well equipped cottage, with air conditioning, an equipped kitchen, screens on the windows, and a large front porch overlooking lush green trees, colorful plants, and the green valley below. The breakfast experience (including the spectacular view) is worth the trade off if you are willing to let go of the 5 star experience. Besides, I'm not sure where in the Atenas area you will find much that looks like the Four Seasons Hotel. You are about a 10 minute drive from Atenas city center.

This hotel is so beautiful! It's a gorgeous spot to stay a bit outside of San Jose.
Showers weren't hot, but that seems to be common throughout Costa Rica.
