We loved our stay and will come back to Marafiki Bungalows!

Super nice and helpful! We loved Justina, Esther and Susi but honestly the boss who runs the place is defensively Tiger the cat. 🐈😻 we are still in love with him! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always more than good and the special evenings as Masai night and live music was really fun! Thank you for planning our trips, our transports to the airport and all other requests we had and for those awesome ice coffees at the pool. 😍

There is nothing we could complain about. Super clean, nice and friendly staff!

Siamo stati benissimo da Marafiki, ci siamo sentiti accolti come in famiglia e abbiamo trascorso dei bei momenti.

La struttura era molto accogliente e pulita, lo staff sempre disponibile e cordiale. Molto utile il refill dell’acqua e davvero ottimo il cibo. Colazione completa .

Il punto mare non era all’altezza delle foto. Purtroppo si erano accumulate molte alghe a riva ed era impossibile soggiornare in spiaggia durante il giorno. Tuttavia la struttura aveva messo a disposizione un servizio navetta gratis verso la spiaggia di kiwengwa li vicino. Noi non ne abbiamo usufruito in quanto abbiamo fatto altre escursioni in quei giorni ma sicuramente è una buona alternativa. Tuttavia spiaggia non all’altezza delle foto.

Le calme de l'hôtel, la piscine avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan indien, l'équipe est top mention special a Asma et Buterfly pour leur sympathie et leur bienveillance. Bien entendu MONICA qui est parle parfaitement bien le français sans qui notre séjour n'aurait pas été parfait merci Monica vraiment pour votre disponibilité et votre grande bienveillance, vous êtes vraiment notre coup de coeur du séjour. Au plaisir de vous revoir 😉

Magnificent garden

Wonderful hotel with great cabins located in a garden filled with flowers and animals. Pool overlooking the sea and a restuarant with delicious food and a very friendly and helpful staff. Loved our stay :-)

The sea was a bit rough, so it was not really suited for swimming with children from the beach.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay

The location is very convenient to reach. Very calm and relaxed place. The design of the property the house gives so close to swahili cultural.

The entrance to the road has a very bad bumpy road with no street lights

We really enjoyed our stay! Would come again and recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful garden, clean and tidy facilities, European plugs, daily room cleanups and fresh towels, nice pool and cozy restaurant that serves food whenever you’re hungry. laid back vibe.

WiFi wasn’t always working well. But that’s it and to be expected on Zanzibar.

Calm and cozy during rainy season. I would definitely recommend this place. Bungalows are spacious and beautiful. Frendly staff, amazing breakfast, gorgeous garden!

Perfect family retreat on Zanzibar

Very nice staff, relaxed ambiance, comfortable yet still felt genuine and close to nature, great food, secluded location. Good wifi

Only a minor thing, the beds and pillows were too hard for us parents, but ok for our teenagers

A visit to paradise.

The friendliness of all the staff from the two lovely hosts all the way to the cleaning ladies. Everyone gave their utmost to make our visit perfect. The food was delicious and the service 100%. I will definitely tell my friends about Marafiki Bungalows.

Outstanding place to stay, staff is fabulous, garden lush and peaceful. Very family friendly, directly on the beach, pool is nice.. Cool breeze in a very very hot climate. Went there over New years and they had the best celebration, drums and dj on the beach. Food was by far the best I have ever had. It was the best time ever. Will definitely go back there!!!

Only down side, its quite remote, so no shops or restaurants near by. But if you happy with chilling at the lodge, which we did most of the time (and you dont easily get bored), then its the place to go.

A touch of paradise

The environment felt like a little garden paradise, the staff is incredible nice, hospitable and also very much themselves. Restaurant had the best dishes we ate on Zanzibar. A True touch of paradise. Thanks great staff:)

Comfortable stay, and memorable experience

We carry fond memories of our stay at Marafiki Bungalows. it was perfect for the family, two young children and a teenager. It's a great breakfast everyday, the pool was very clean, spacious garden and place by the ocean for a quiet read or walk by the beach. The staff are very friendly, took extra care to ensure we were comfortable and the children's needs were met - food, towels..and lots of smiles. the food is really good too...look out for Swahili Night while there. There are many great options for local cuisine and other choices from the menu. Thank you to the Marafiki Family for a memorable stay! and thank you Butterfly! from us the kids : )
