Really exceptional location. Superbly equipped.
Would of been nice to be offered fresh towels and linen after first 6 days. Stay was 11 nights

The location was perfect at the bay. Appartment was small as was the shower but very tidy.
The host gave us nice tips for our stay

We stayed in the studio flat. The arrangements to arrive were perfect and Sylvain, the host, was exceptional. We rang him as we arrived and he was there within a couple of minutes to help us unload the car, show us everything in the flat, advise us about restaurants and the sites to visit and then came with us in the car to direct us to an area of free parking nearby. One could not have wished for a better host.
The position of the flat is fantastic, right on the (semi) pedestrianised walkway overlooking the harbour. Restaurants are all around yet the flat was quiet due to the double glazing. The small flat has 2 aircon units and so can be kept cool despite the heat and the bedroom area being in the roofspace. The size of the flat is adequate for having coffee/breakfast but I doubt you would want to eat lunch/dinner there, especially given the plethora of restaurants within seconds of the flat. The one window / juliet balcony gives a lovely view over the bay but the unit is too small for 2 of you to sit around the small table and look outside.
Despite the shortcomings below, the exceptional position and brilliant host, coupled with the lovely town of Collioure itself, means this is recommended if you are fit enough!
None of the following should detract from the efforts made by Sylvain to make your stay comfortable.
The flat is accessed by steep and narrow stairs which makes carrying anything to the flat difficult - Sylvain helped us unload the car, of course! Inside, the mezzanine bedroom area is accessed by the 'staircase' / ladder which is not easy, and very difficult (dangerous) at night if you need to use the loo on the lower level. Climbing up is difficult, coming down is worse... I should add that, although we didn't use it, there is a sofa-bed downstairs that could be used to avoid this issue but would take up space.
The shower room / toilet is very small and after a shower (you have to drape the shower curtain over the loo to keep it dry) the floor obviously remains wet for ages if you need to re-vist to use the loo etc.
Finally, the bedroom aircon unit is very noisy as it cuts on and off once the required temperature is reached.
However, as I say, if you are fit enough and don't get too drunk at night when you may need to use the loo, don't let these issues put you off!

beautiful view!

The apartment was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed. It was ideally situated, just a short walk away from the old town (& therefore quieter), with fantastic views. Very close to several restaurants and other attractions. No outside space to speak of but this wouldn’t be missed if staying there in the summer (we were then in February), as the beach is literally across the road, which I imagine would be great for families, as you only have to cross the access road in front of the property to get onto the beach. Out of season, we were able to park right outside the apartment - in season this probably wouldn’t be possible but there is parking nearby. We never got to meet the owner but he was very friendly, helpful and informative.
If you want to use both bedrooms (as we did), there is a small supplement to pay to have the second bed made up as otherwise there seems to be the assumption that two people staying will be sleeping in the same bed!

Great location and view! Great coffee machine.
Kitchen well equipped and could benefit from some good knives and an electric kettle.

Location is unbeatable. Right on the bay, very central. Walk out the studio and be in the water in about 25 paces..(I didnt measure it)
The living dining cooking space is lovely.
The shower room space is very tight. Great shower but a bit of manoeuvring to keep towels and toilet dry. The space saving stairs and head ducking to get to the mezzanine bedroom take a bit of getting used to. Not suitable for the less mobile.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this apartment and it really couldn’t be improved. It’s located less than 50 yards from one of the beaches and is an easy 10 minute walk into the centre. There are plenty of good restaurants in Collioure and I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal in any of them.
Sylvain is a top bloke and couldn’t be more helpful; always available, but by no means intrusive. The apartment is spotless and we find it extremely comfortable. The air conditioning in the lounge and both bedrooms is a godsend.
There is nothing to dislike.
