Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful was not very warm .
Room needed a good clean , bits on the floor when we arrived were still there when we left. Tap handle comes off in your hand and so does shower tap handle.

EVERYTHING.
We love QT and this is by far the best location we have stayed to date.
Plus the $2 oysters on Friday & Saturdays went down perfectly.
Not much at all.

Position and view is fantastic.
Branding is a bit strange as it is combined with Rydges (sister brand) for the common area.

The food was exceptional. The staff were friendly and very professional. We had an issue with the aircon, so the staff moved us to another room and offered a few complementary drinks and free breakfast. The staff handled that issue with ease and professionalism.
Aircon broke

The view was great. The room was also perfect.
And of course the front staff had a great attitude.
I would stay there again!

The bed was super comfortable, loved the big bath and the modern decor. Easy to access lake front via rydges.
Some staff a little too relaxed on covid protocols.

View was stunning, room very nice, bar and restaurant ok. Breakfast good (apart from the coffee nonsense).
Paying £400 / night for a room and being expected to pay for a decent coffee at breakfast. Sharing facilities with the Rydges sister hotel. Business conference guests swamped the joint bar. Parking took some manoeuvring to get in and out.

Nice amenities, well appointed room, comfortable and high quality
Plumbing was loud from rooms above, hallway noise easily travelled into the room at night, extremely limited parking, without a lake view the rooms have a pretty depressing view, location is a fair walk into town

Price was a little high
Views weren’t just of the lake also of the below car park

They provided us with the best experience ever. I requested some roses for our anniversary but unfortunately they don’t have that and replaced us with a room upgrade, a bottle of wine and some hand written letter which I really appreciated!

The bed wasn't turned down at night..and the cocktail tray was a waste of time.!!

I thought for the price the room was average. at 500 per night I was expecting 5 not 3 to 4 stars

Beautiful contemporary room, comfortable bed. fabulous shower and tub. We were told our room only had a partial lake view but it was a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Could not have been happier. The staff very friendly and professional.
Wish the coffee was better in room and room service but that seems to be more of a NZ thing in general. I thought the Bazaar would be open for dinner as well as breakfast so a little disappointing.

Great location, really cool vibes, great music played around the place. loved the ‘uniform’ for females, great informal jumpsuits.

Breakfast was fabulous, location was fine
Parking for our private vehicle was hit and miss, if there was no parks in the Peppers car park we were told you would hopefully find some close by, not good enough for the price we paid to stay

Fantastic location - 5 min walk into town and not too close to bustling night life yet an easy walk in if you need anything. connected to Rydges so you can take the lift down to street level (no need to walk the steep hill!) Staff were professional and super friendly. Everytime we called the phone was answered almost immediately. PHENOMENAL view from 10th floor - worth the $, just sat everyday staring at the view. Complimentary charcuterie board AND cocktail set to make martinis, face masks given on the first night, room had a Dyson hair dryer and hair straightener. Room was cleaned everyday! Free parking with remarkable king room.
Carpark was pretty tight so some drivers struggled to park correctly making it difficult for you to park especially if you have a large car - otherwise nothing!

The views were spectacular! Staff in Bazaar great. Breakfast was very good. Dinner at Reds surprisingly good given the staff in the bar were terrible. Housekeeping great and reception staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms are not as nice or luxurious as other QT hotels, and the whole hybrid thing with the Rydges is just plain odd. The pool is just awful for a 5 star hotel. Staff in bar were hopeless.
