Great Stay! Close enough to the town center but far enough that you're away from the noise

The hotel was a lovely place to stay at and they even provided a complimentary drink coupon. Location, staff and cleanliness was exceptional.

A great location, very modern, and really helpful staff

An excellent location for transport at the train station. The staff were also very friendly and supportive of our needs and requests. The free breakfast was also a bonus!

Fantastic for the quieter travelers.

The hotel was delightful, the cafe/book store on the ground floor was a very nice space to get a coffee or tea and read a book, and the breakfast was very tasty. The location was also very good, only a short distance from the nearest subway stop. While I did not use the service myself you could borrow books from the cafe to read, even in your hotel room if you wanted, to give it a try before deciding if you wanted to buy it. The rooms themself were also just spacious enough, with a small reading nook with a comfortable chair and reading lamp.

The breakfast portions were a bit small, although it could easily be supplemented by the convenience store across the street if necessary.

有一天另外加購了早餐，小漢堡兩個+飲料的套餐，精緻美味。

隔音好.每個房間的提供的選書很棒。淋浴設備非常舒適。

空間稍微小了一點，枕頭比較低，一人只有一個。掛衣架及掛衣空間不太足夠，特別是住比較多天的情況。

Unique design hotel in Nagoya

Unique design (I mean, books!) and extreme functionality and cleanliness of the rooms. Good position, near to the train station, amazing coffee. Great spot also for catching up on some emails. Staff very helpful and allowed us to check in earlier. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional

Stylish Jap-Scandi boutique hotel with cleverly designed rooms. Our moderate double overlooked the park, had enough storage for luggage and an armchair beside the.sliding doors of a tiny balcony. Beds comfy (one side against the wall) and bathroom was super clean. Coin laundry on ground floor. Bookshop/cafe creates a homely reception area. Staff could not do enough to make you feel welcome. Loved it!

Sad to say the great design does not extend to blackout blinds. Rooms facing the park which is lovely also face the sunrise (4.30 am summer). Maybe bring an eyeshade. There is an ice machine and microwave on 2nd floor so rooms here might be noisy. Would be nice if some foreign language books were on a lower shelf for non Japanese guests as the ladder is a bit of a hazard. We used it anyway!

Perfect

Within walking distance between station and Sekai / Osu for easy access to sightseeing and nightlife, but exceptionally quiet. Loved the bar and the nooks in rooms from which to read. Loved that it also is a normal bookstore where locals stop to read and work. Beautiful park in front and Lawsons across the street.

I love the concept of a book hotel, and being able to take a book to my room to read. The vibe of people reading in the lobby/library was nice. The breakfast sliders were yummy, and I appreciated the laundry facilities. My room had big windows and a view of a park. It was comfortable, quiet, and stylish.

Superb

Lovely interior design, with warm surfaces. The room had a balcony with a view of a park area. The lobby also serves as a library and there's a small cafe, meaning you can enjoy hot coffee when browsing magazines. Great value.

The room size is perhaps a bit small, but still satisfactory.

Pricey but good location

Nice concept with plenty of books available for reading (didn't get the chance to really use it), original (but small) breakfast, welcome drink (within their coffee shop), nice bathroom, clean, location OK (a lot of area are reachable by walk)

Small breakfast with 1 drink (you can choose among a limited list of drink ... only coffee or juice ... despite a nice menu as coffee shop such as cafe latte ... a pity) and 2 small hamburger (a pity als to don't have the possibility to get some muffin, also on the menu), room not spacious enough for 2 persons (blanket was really small for 2 persons), pricey considering equipment and service.

Exceptional

Access to a library in the hotel is unique. The breakfast consists of an assortment of six tiny burgers from which you can choose two. They are made fresh and taste better than any other burger place in the vicinity.

Definitely value for money and provide completely different experience than traditional hotel type. I will be back!!!

All of interior design from lobby, elevator until every inch in the room is really into the details. Example: the way they design the lighting with hidden light and down light is not just only cozy but really practical. Toilet is clean and wider than Japan standard. They make good coffee and unique breakfast (the small fusion hamburger - it is good to try but do not expect that you will be completely full from it). Family mart is just across the small street.

Just one minor thing - their staffs are not good in English

I can’t say very good transportation but I can acceptable. Most point was breakfast!! You can enjoy two original sliders and good coffee with books. You must keep time for unwind in the hotel if you are book lovers.

English books was not enough.

perfect location for short or long stays in Nagoya

super good location, not so close to the city that you can’t find piece but easy to access all the popular areas. Books are also easily accessible and the cafe on site makes that essential morning coffee easy as.

Superb

This combined bookstore-cafe-hotel is a great spot to stay if you love books. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the hotel is close to attractions like the science and art museums. You can borrow the books during your stay (and purchase them if you so desire) and they have quite a few books in English. From now on, I will be staying here every time I go to Nagoya.
