Location great
Staff were amazing
- very friendly and accommodating
Atmosphere of the Small space and again staff was great - relaxed and kind service
Fridge didn’t work
Ac didn’t work well
Extremely small room
Poor sound proofing - quiet area yet window with alley and activity of locals
Bathroom - smelt and leaky - puddle on floor
Bed was uncomfortable
Blanket very small for 2 adults on a double bed, barely fit.
Breakfast - made only on request - had to ask for fruit and coffee as all empty when we arrived. Banh mi was okay
Great for budget travel but charging
Too much for what is offered.

Alles gut!

It is running like a family. Staff used to prepare breakfast freshly every morning. Always keep the room clean.
The location is very hard to find. Even if I stayed 5 days, it’s not easy to comeback to the property.

I felt safe like I was staying with friends. I stayed 3 days in Ho Chi Min and I felt welcomed, I got a lot of help( that changed my trip for a lot better) and kindness whilst I was trying to make the most of my time in this vibrant city. My room was really nice and quiet: I was able to get good rest between my multiple bike tours 😊
I will be forever grateful to Usagiyah and it is their fault I'm now planning a trip to Japan!
I couldn't be friends with the cat: she did not like me but she was very friendly with everyone else!

Nice location in the heart of District 1 with many restaurants within walking distance. The host and his assistants are extremely helpful with breakfast, tour bookings and airport shuttle. Ngoc guided me to a surprisingly good clothing tailor nearby which costed me almost nothing. All in all, a very pleasant experience in HCMC.

The location is super interesting, we really enjoyed exploring all the laneways. Close to lots of street food too. We were always greeted so warmly and felt very welcome, all the staff were lovely, kind and accommodating! The rooftop was also super cute and we had a really delicious breakfast.

The owner of the property is very friendly, helpful and the overall atmosphere of our stay was very nice and welcoming. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with a kettle, hair drier and tv and the bed was confy.
It's a little further from the main attractions. About 25 min walk to the war museum but with grab it's no problem. Our room was quite noisy since early morning but nothing unbearable.

The stay was very nice and enjoyable. We were looking for a place that's central but not too noisy, touristy, or busy. We've found it all in this nice guest house in the heart of district one.
The owner was nice and several of the other guests were japanese as well.

Love the staff, the atmosphere, and the available resources. Location a little hard to find but good position.
Some of the bathroom facilities needs some repair soon - but they are still functional.

Very clean throughout hostel. The beds are huge and you get your own table. Good location, down an alley away from the noise. The hosts were extremely helpful and kind. Relax area outside and in lobby.
Wasn't as social as other hostels for meeting backpackers but everyone I did meet was kind

the staff is super friendly, and the place is located in a market area which makes it super authentic.
the beds are quite isolated which is nice, perhaps very japanese type though. they have not got elevator for people that do not like stairs

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The hostel and room are clean, common area has kitchen, chill area and there is a roof terrace. We felt welcome from beginning to end and it was overall a very pleasant stay.
Only small minus is that the room has only a clothes stand, but no shelves, so it was a little difficult to keep all the clothes properly.

Walk distance from the bar street and war museum. Staff was super friendly and offers every day new towels. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. A lot of privacy and place to store your stuff. They organize tours and pick up/ drop off to the airport. Breakfast was good.
Not easy to meet backpackers, so if you want to meet people you should take tours or find another way.

The staff is very friendly, its cozy and quiet. feels like living in a family.
the mattress is not the most comfortable but I like how the bed is made overall - cupboard, electricity, light and nice curtain, everything generous size and very clean
