Calm retreat environment with a lovely pool in the centre of the building. Large comfortable rooms with light decor. Great quiet location easy walk to old quarter Hoi An and five minutes from cafes, restaurants and bars. Super attentive staff especially the excellent Huong. We will be back

Very spacious and clean room with a nice view from the big terrace. The staff was very friendly and very warm. The atmosphere is very familiair. I felt that we stayed at a family’s place, which felt like home.

Everything about my stay here was just incredible
Zen kind of gives it away in the name - this is a really calm and relaxing little stay - not farm from the centre of it all. I have an absolute amazing time here, massively recommend and already planning another trip back when I visit Vietnam again on the bikes.
The staff here are very attentive, they listen and treat you with the utmost respect - giving advice and recommendations along the way. Friendly and kind.
I unfortunately was not staying long enough to take part in any activities due to me being here filming schedule but everything looked pretty amazing.
If I had to pick one thing about this stay that was my favourite - as much as I wanted to pick the shower in the rooms… it has to be the breakfast service, you make your pre order the day before and you are made breakfast - which by the time you have sat down and gotten a coffee - your food plus extra fruits and yoghurts on your table for you to have - honestly, the food here was incredible (they made a home made Passionfruit jam which I put in the yoghurts and its just delightful.
Couldn’t thank the staff enough for the love that goes into this hotel and service, THANK YOU to everyone at Zen, will see you again

Die Gastgeberinnen haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Unsere spontanen Wünsche (Roller, Tour, Gepäckaufbewahrung, Transfer) wurden alle sehr schnell und flexibel umgesetzt. Das Frühstück war gut aber nicht überragend.
Großer Spalt in der Schiebetüre zum Bad. WLAN bei Starkregen ausgefallen. My Son hätten wir lieber mit dem Roller gemacht, aber aufgrund des Regens haben wir auf das Tourangebot zurückgegriffen. Aber das ist alles Jammern auf hohem Niveau... insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden!

The pool area was lovely. The staff were so helpful and arranged an alternative breakfast for us when we had to leave early for a trip. They were knowledgeable and kind. The hotel is not far from the centre.
At times it felt cold in the room and it would have been nice to have a blanket.

We were received very well by the staff there even though we arrived 2 hours before check in. She gave us various pieces of advice and ideas of things to do while in Hoi An.
The room was clean and cozy, there was a bike at disposition, and the location is quite good, 10 minutes walking from the center.

Vy and the rest of the staff were so so kind and helpfull! It was a really nice calm peacefull spot to relax from the busy old center. We could rent bike and motorbike which was also really nice!

The room was very clean and brand new. Lovely breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to use the hotel bikes for free to cycle around the town and to the beach. Great value for money!

We loved every minute at ZEN! The staff is exeptionally nice and they will arrange anything for you and help you with bookings and give tips about what you can do in the area. Breakfast is just amazing! Fresh fruit, pancakes and choice between noodles and egg. Hoi An old town is 15 minutes by foot and 10 minutes by bike (which you can rent for free!). Would really recommend staying here!

We LOVED this Boutique Hotel. It perfectly matched the vibe of Hoi An. It was quiet and off the beaten path a little which we liked. The hotel provided us with free bikes whenever we needed them and a Motorbike rental for 180VND/day. It was HOT when we visited Hoi An and when we got home from exploring the city, a dip in the cold pool was EXACTLY what we needed. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very nice. They took our breakfast orders in the evening and we were welcomed every morning with banana pancakes, amazing fresh fruit, yogurt, and either Pho or Eggs (you request that part). It was really an awesome stay and I definitely recommend this hotel (especially for the price!!).

I would highly recommend staying at ZEN Boutique Hoi An! The villa is beautiful, we had a standard room and it was very big and luxurious, great value for money. The complimentary breakfast was the best we had in Vietnam 😍 The staff are amazing, we really felt like family after just a few days. They will do anything to help you which we really appreciated. The location is central but not too busy, the free bikes are a massive bonus. Thank you for having us!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and were really well designed. Wish we could've stayed for longer.
The hotel was a bit outside of the centre of Hoi An, but we could easily get around with a grab or a taxi.

The complex is not really looking like the pictures.
The Pool area is very dirty, the pool was not cleaned for a while, and it didn't look like it could be used.
The general bathroom downstairs, accessible to everyone was not clean.
The staff let the windows in the hallway open during the night and we had cockroaches and salamanders in the hallways. One salamander sneaked into our room during the night. (Maybe difficult to keep them, because of the more remote location of the hotel.
We had a weird incident regarding breakfast. I booked this room on booking and here, you automatically suggest booking a room for 2 people in 1 room. Somehow, one of the staff members told me that we booked only for 1 person and therefore we had to pay for breakfast 7 dollars per day per person. I mean, I don't mind paying for breakfast, but I would like to be informed before I am sitting at the breakfast table assuming it was included in the price.

Lovely villa hotel with beautiful rooms, around a 10-15 minute walk into the main town. Amazing breakfast in a peaceful poolside setting. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about tour companies they recommend/support. The airport pickup was a decent price but taxi or Grab may be the easiest option based on our experience.

The rooms were beautiful, large balcony, large bathroom and well equipped. The service was extraordinary, all staff were very friendly and welcoming. They arranged everything for us, a tour, an appointment at a very good spa, a private car transfer to Hue and more. It was a pleasure to stay there. Also, the breakfast was very good, including lokal specialities, fruits, pancakes and selfmade coconut yogurt. The hotel is a bit outside from the city center, located more in the nature BUT this is good, since it is much more quite 😊

It wasn’t zen at all. Very noisy as it was next to a busy main road, and also next to some wetlands so very loud frogs all night!

Spacious room. Breakfast was provided. Receptionist provided a lot of information and recommendations upon arrival.
They “upgraded” us to a different room but there wasn’t even a view at all, which was very disappointing.
The room smelt damp and mouldy and didn’t feel very comfortable or clean. There were even worn underwear and clothes in the wardrobe which we believed belong to the previous guests.
The shower was very hot. It didn’t have any cold water and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. And we found a cockroach in the bathroom.
There was the noise of an insect during the night, we didn’t know what it was but we’d really suggest bringing your own earplugs.
There was a confusion about whether the payment was made beforehand or not. On booking.com it was stated that “the property will charge you before your stay”, but when we got there they insisted that we hadn’t paid and needed to pay at the reception.
Receptionist wasn’t around in the evening when we arrived late. We needed to use google translate to talk to the person who was at the lobby (not sure if he was the receptionist but he didn’t speak any English at all).

Thanks to the family this place has a warm and loving energy to it. I prolonged my stay two times because I fell in love with Hoi An and I felt very much at Home in the Zen Boutique. The owners helped me with several tasks such as laundry service, shipping a package to my home country, booking trips and spa appointments. I also used the free bikes a lot.
The room is huge, quiet and modern. And the breakfast is delicious and made with love.
The meditation room is beautiful but next to a loud street. I am not far enough on my meditation journey to relax here, but this can be embraced as a challenge ;) The rooms are quiet though, so don‘t worry about it.

We enjoyed our stay and especially the big balcony, big room and huge bathroom. It was a nice small hotel with not many rooms where you get privacy. Very good breakfast and value for money. It’s walking distance to old quarter and you can easily bike to the beach through the beautyful countryside - the hotel is also right next to countryside.
Only thing to be aware of is that it looks like you book a big room with balcony, but we first got the room on groundfloor with small terrace and no view. We did get upgraded to another room though - but be aware of this if you book it for the balcony and the view. It would be nice if there were specific pictures of the actual room you book. Staff is overall nice but not the most personal experience we had in Vietnam - however if you don’t care about that, it’s a very good stay for your time in Hoi An.

The staff were so helpful and gracious, it made my third trip to Hoi An just as memorable. The hotel was small and off from all of the touristy crowds. The room was spacious and clean. We even got a nice large bath tub, a rarity in SE Asia. Breakfast was simple, but filling. Pool was small, but in a beautiful setting. Local food prices were good in this area also. We rode bikes to the river and the beach; it was easy enough, not too many cars and motorbikes. The bridge and shops were a short 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it.
The Wifi was slow, but it gave us a chance to get out and explore the area.

A free room upgrade was offered (we had stayed before two years ago). Room was exceptionally large along with a massive bathroom with an actual bath in addition to shower! Large balcony with nice view to rear/side of property overlooking green space. Bed and furniture were very comfortable , solid and well designed - zen style! Overall the biggest room and largest amount of space in all the accommodation we stayed at during our travels.
The pool area is covered and internal to the building plus very close to the reception area - so a bit dark and not offering much privacy. We had a bad nights sleep as there was a problem with the fridge which kept making popping sounds through the night which eventually woke us up! Should have reported to management/staff really to give them a chance to resolve but was a single nights stay only.
