About this apartment rental
Located right on the waters edge this apartment has been designed to maximise the stunning lakeside setting! The unit is an older style home with quirky architectural style from the 90's. This is not your newly built fancy Queenstown rental but this doesn't stop you from experiencing the wonderful views with peace and quiet. The unit is also located close enough to enjoy the restaurants and shopping downtown, with only a 15min walk along the waters edge into town. Featuring generous open plan living and dining areas ideal for indoor / outdoor entertaining. A heat pump and fireplace (with a good supply of firewood) keep the chill off in winter and the comfy lounge suite offers a haven for you to sit back and relax. The fully fitted kitchen is complete with everything you need to self cater. Appliances include; dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and large fridge/freezer. Approx distances: Town - 1.5km Airport - 5km Arrowtown - 17km Apartment Layout: Ground Level - Entrance, open plan living with 50" flat screen TV and dining area, fully fitted kitchen, balcony access. Lower Level - Three bedrooms, configured as King, Queen and Twin rooms. Master bedroom ensuite, large family bathroom and laundry. All linen is included. The unit is down a short steep driveway with stairway access to the units front door. If anyone in your group has mobility difficulties I recommend you stay elsewhere. * Don't stay here if you are not able to carry your luggage down a large set of stairs. * We have a STEEP driveway, due to living in an alpine town. We will not be able to accomodate Mini Vans, unless you are use to steep driveways. Please note: We do have 1 Port-a-cot and High Chair available but you will need to bring your own bedding for the port-a-cot Special conditions: Smoking allowed outside only please. Driveway was a bit of a challenge

The view was picturesque, great communal spaces, rooms are well set up and bathrooms stocked. Only downfall was the driveway ~ very sketchy to drive in and out of. Would be hard for unconfident drivers. Almost missed it too.
Other than that we couldn’t fault the place. One suggestion ~ if the property is listed as family friendly maybe have a small amount of toys. Again, just a suggestion

Read the property description and it sums it up really well. The property is in a fantastic location and if you are lucky like us and have good weather sitting outside on the terrace is great. Sitting inside is great too. The bbq was out of gas so we did not use it but the kitchen was great. Look closely and it needs some care but look at the view and it is all good.

Just the place we needed for our adult family trip to Queenstown. The home was spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us while being a short distance from town. The house had everything we needed for the weekend and the views and sunsets are simply stunning. Would definitely come back.

The view from the deck is incredible. You could stay there all day just starring into the distance. The houses accommodated the 5 of us perfectly. The parking of the car was a little difficult down the steep driveway but apart from this it was brilliant

The view was absolutely amazing! Like the description says, it is an older house and the driveway is a bit tricky, but because we knew that ahead of time (from the description and an email from the property manager) we knew what we booked and the house worked perfectly for our group.

Wonderful flat. Such a beautiful view. Comfortable rooms and lovely decorations. Cherifah and Neville were terrific hosts.

Central with great views and everything we needed. Communication with the host was very difficult as she did not reply to messages.

The property has the best views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There was plenty of room and kept us warm in the colder temperature.
It is an older property that needs some maintenance and a deep clean. The driveway is very tricky to navigate as per the description, but we couldn’t find anywhere else to park.

We had a fantastic stay here. The house itself was excellent. It was well equipped with heating for the cold weather (heaters in every bedroom, heated blankets, heat pump in the living room and a fireplace). The house was in a great location, you could walk into town within 20mins along a path accessible from the house that runs around the river or it is a short drive into town. I hope to come back again!

The location was good and the view is stunning on a good clear day. On arrival to find it was a steep descent to the property, with an elderly mother and 2 young children it was a challenge with large suitcases in tow
A couple of cleanliness issues, cooking appliances and fridge difficult to use, however, managed after a cookie of days.
Bedrooms very spacious and bathrooms nicely equipped with basic necessities.
It was a nice first time Queenstown experience and we’re very grateful for the opportunity.

We enjoyed our time in Queenstown immensely and part of the reason was our lodging. Many people have posted that the view is magnificent and it is. But the lodging itself is quite nice. The outdoor grill is nice. The refrigerator and stove worked fine. The beds were comfortable and the entire area was quiet, convenient and safe. We would definitely recommend 203-B as a VRBO place to stay when in Queenstown.

Older style home and architecture which was great but the house is vey tired( it has said that in reviews so we expected it) but the cleanness was lacking. Something can be old but not dirty!!!!.
The kitchen cupboards dirty and a mess,dishes just thrown anywhere. One fry pan only old and stained. Freezer needed defrosting
The bedrooms all down stairs were damp and musty.
TV difficult to use.
Cobwebs everywhere on windows.Wooden outside table was broken and unsafe. Bikes unusable.
Vacuum cleaner didn’t work only a dirty brush and another one broken. Told owner but just said cleaners would fix, we were there for a week 6 people it would have been nice to has vacuumed.

The cleaners came as we left and we had to wait for our car and they had left in less than an hour

The property is very dirty. There’s is mould growing in the tiles of the bathrooms and the linen on the beds and blankets/doona covers us threadbare. There was no cut kindling for the fire and only a very small blunt axe for us to cut it ourselves. Next door was rented to what seemed like a bunch of drunk backpackers making it unpleasant to be on the balcony (or In the house) and there was uncollected rubbish in the garden. My son found downstairs bedroom so dank he slept on the couch upstairs. No generosity in kitchen fit out and oven thermostat not working ( resulting in burnt food). Dryer erratic. Generally tired and could be so much better with only slight effort.

We had a 6 night stay in Queenstown and enjoyed the time at this property. Everything was comfortable and quite convenient to town. Walks distance if weather permitted. Taxi's were expensive due to how busy Queenstown was at this time of year. Be aware that there are steep steps and driveway which are icy and a little dangerous with heavy luggage (as described in detail in the booking page). The lakefront and mountain views were stunning. I would stay again.

Great accommodation, family friendly good lake access/location tp town. Cheap taxi trio after town or the casino. Good balcony for a hungover BBQ breakfast. Awesome communication with owner. Really made the queenstown experience having been able to land this awesome accommodation.

Driveway is steep but fine with flat bit at the bottom and garage. Only minor grumble would be that better pans and a bit more crockery would be good but there’s enough to get by with. If you like cooking, useful stuff to bring would be a decent frying pan, wooden spoon/spatula, a big chopping board and a good knife. The owner was great to deal with. All in all a fab place and we would definitely stay again.

Great location, Awesome views and easy 3 min drive to town. Uber only $10. Fireplace was nice to have as it was quite cold weather. Only thing we found a bit annoying was no decent frying pan. They were very old and need replacing. Apart from that was perfect for our stay.
