Helpful staff. Booking tours on helpdesk.
Shower area too small makes bathroom uncomfortable.

Staff were amazing and friendly the breakfast was awesome room was great size and very clean and the location was perfect

The staff at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. The room for 4 of us was actually 2 rooms, so it was spacious and had enough space for our luggage. The bathroom was large also. The view from the room to the water was great to have.
Parking is expensive!! It was about $35 to park in their parking lot for a day. Right next to their lot is a P3 lot which is free on weekends. So I don't appreciate the price gouging. Also, the parking camera was supposed to close out the ticket once you leave - glad we noticed in the Easy Park app that it was still showing running....almost 8 days later! There is P2 parking across the street.

Perfect location but the room could use a litle upgrade. We could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was beyond excellent and the breakfast was very good,
The bathroom was actually a safety hazard for me. The 1st room had no surround but the 2nd stay had one. I almost tripped over it a couple of times. I preferred using the squeegee over falling and hurting myself.

Location is good
Bedroom was very tired, needed a refurb. En-suite was old fashioned, tiles dirty.

The room had 2 separate rooms so my husband and I were separated from our kids
The decor was old and carpeting not so pretty

The room was big and comfortable. The breakfast delicious. The staff was was friendly and helpfully.
The view from our room.We were on the same level with the parking place although the hotel has a sew view and the windows were very dirty. We have booked this room very very early and we expected something better. Also some days they didnt pick up the dirty towels and we ended up having of dozens of towels in our room.

First of all, the location is fantastic. The main attractions of the city are within good walking distance, and various bus tours stop by here making it easy to participate in excursions. The staff are friendly and breakfast was good. View wise, you are right alongside the coast which if you get the right room, you can get an amazing view every morning! Would happily come here again based on our experience.
The rooms are very minimalist though this is the norm in Iceland. However, they could be updated slightly in particular more towel racks and updated carpets/general fixtures (massive crack in our sink). We did have some issues with noise, as the doors can be quite loud when closing and we could hear guests clearly from the rooms next to us. But this didn't ruin the travel, as we were out most of the time.

The location was good. The breakfast had a good selection although the hot food was lacking if you are vegetarian.
The bathroom was tiny, you couldn't move in the shower cubicle without the curtain sticking to you it was that small.
The hairdryer kept over-heating and cutting out every 20 seconds - it would not start again until completely cool, meaning it took forever to dry my hair!

We stayed one night before our early flight home early next morning. Arrived about 4pm and found free parking space to front. Originally booked a 4 bed family room - but upgraded on check in to 6 bed family suite! On first floor above entrance portico with sitting area, double bedroom, 4 bunk bed room and shower room. Great room for our needs to repack. Great location within walking distance of centre - and friendly helpful staff.
Unfortunately shower controls broken so difficult to operate - and woken up several times in the night by people talking outside by entrance.

Hotel close to city center of Reikjavik, 5-10 min walk. Parking on site available, not very big, but we got a space arriving at 7PM on Friday. Friendly staff, pretty good breakfast.
The room, furniture, shower are quite old and need some renovation.

Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Excellent location to access the city centre and coast.
Local food shop close to the hotel for snacks.
I felt safe staying in this hotel as a solo female traveller.
Great view from my room.
If eating alone at breakfast and leaving the table for further food and drink, your table may be taken by other guests or your table may be cleared by hotel staff. Table signage or a marker to indicate the table is in use may be something for the hotel to consider in the future.
I was woken a couple of times by other guests who let their room doors slam. The hotel could consider a door softening device to help with this.
Room decor and interior is not very modern.

Right within downtown Reykjavik but also quiet; free parking right at the hotel entrance was great too.

Nice reception area with helpful staff. Breakfast very good although they need an extra toaster and for it to be in a different place as it causes a queue around the breads and pastries as people hang around waiting.
Rooms basic.

Locaiton is great, city center, tour pickup locations were a few minutes walk, the big bus station is also still in walking distance, rooms clean and warm. Friendly staff, after checkout we could leave our luggage while we went for a last walk in the city.
