Etwas veraltete Ausstattung (Bad, Bettlaken etc.)

The hotel is beautiful. The design of it is perfect, it might look old but the bed was really comfortable. The view from the city was also very pleasant
There is a big LED lamp in the pool that gets into you eyes and photos when trying to see the city from the balcony. It does looks cool, but a bit of a problem when trying to get relaxed
3.6
The Terrace view 🤩
door hinges on terrace glass door hanging.
Hard to open end close.

The view was outstanding. The facility was old and roomy and historic, a negative to some reviewers, but a bonus to me.This city maintains a frenzied traffic flow and the location and size of the hotel grounds make it a nice, quiet escape. The staff was efficient, attentive, and professional..
The restaurant was expensive.

The pool it’s nice, but the water it’s not that clean
Anyone coming to this place need to be aware that the concept of cleanliness it’s not in place, the rooms need urgent attention, the bathrooms all in general. Bring your own pilot cover, blankets and towel and make sure you bring sanitizer you will use it quite frequently. The tvs are extremely old

The pool mural and the entrance arrangement of the hotel. That’s it
The hotel was advertised to have tub. It did not. The bathroom was poor and old conditioned
The king size bed room was a two individual bed arranged together where you can’t slept in the middle due to the separation between them
There was no air conditioning
There wasn’t enough light for the room. It was too dark
There weren’t power connections near the bed if you wanted to charge something you have to stand up and plug it next to the entrance door or next to the bathroom
I think for the price you can get a better one near downtown in Taxco

Pool was very dirty.

Beautiful view & great service
Swimming pool was dirty unable to jump to the water. Really sad I was really expecting a great stay with a pool. Hope when I come back will be clean

great location, nice atmosphere and some rooms have an amazing view! money for value is quite good I would say. the pool looks ok, city center is walkable (10mins). I would come again!
one of our beds was absolutely horrifying to sleep in, it felt like we’re sleeping on the metal springs! luckily we had another bed in the room which was much better, but god those springs were horrible. secondly they require 200$ pesos deposit for the remote, which is a bit weird for me as a foreigner. lastly, the windows are not well isolated at all so it can get a bit noisy. we had some people next to us and they decided to tell their life stories at 7 AM, was hella annoying.

The view was excellent. We were able to look at the whole town. It is a little close to the center of the town. You have to walk for about 10 minutes. It is not so hard. It is close to many restaurants.
The room was nasty and old like hell. The pool was great for me because I like cold water but the rest of the guest did not like that. Also, the water was not so clean. The Hotel is too old and dark. They charge you MXN 200.00 as a deposit in order to give you the remote control for the TV and the funy part is that the remote control does not work at all because the batteries are useless. Anyway, you do not need the remote control because the TV does not work well. The hotel is huge and there is not service people to ask for help. If you have any physical disadvantage. Do not think about coming to the town or this hotel. You will find stairs everywhere. All kind of stairs that you wont be able to imagine.

Location is great!!! and everything is walking distance
Hotel state is good, however rooms decoration seems old regardless of the style, there are cleaness opportunities in general for the whole Hotel. Gardens, rooms and pool look old and beds and bathrooms are not comfortable
3.6
Room was clean
Mold on the bathroom walls, a shoe stain on the bedroom wall as someone killed a mosquito.
Breakfast wasn't that good for its cost

Staff at the gate and room cleaning were a lot more attentive and friendlier than the front desk staff.
The view from our rooms were perfect!
Very close to a very tasteful restaurant.
The sink inside the bathroom was clogged. Found and killed a centipede in my room, on tv stand. Tv was way too small for my room.

- Nice classic historic colonial arquitecture
- Good location
- Booked and paid for a balcony room with a view 1 month in advance, they gave me a driveway room with little to no view, room 79, apparently all the other rooms were already booked.
- Driveway room was too noisy, cars driving up and down during the night, doors slamming, people walking by your door a few feet away, etc.
- Booked a room with an extra large bed, mattress size was ok, but the comfort of the mattress was very poor, very hard mattress, felt like lying on pallets covered by fabric.
- Towels were very rough, good for exfoliating I guess.
- I didn't rest
- No wifi

Friendly staff
Charging stations for electrical vehicles do not work

The view
Didnt get the room Booking offered. The room had a bad odor un the bathroom and had leakage. The hotel in general needs more maintnance. Paying $150 per night was not worth it.

This property is filled with so much history and mystery every possible section has a story not to mention incredible turn of the century Decour from the colonial Mexican times. I especially love the mural by legendary artist Juan O’Gorman, Architect and artist friend of Diego and Freda. And by the way was Diego in Fruita stayed at this hotel as did Trotsky. Tons of photo ops plus a tour of them lines plus great location will definitely be back to dive in the Pool once again.
Really nothing not to like this hotel is a classic!

historical buildings, famous mural, lovely garden
room basic, would have liked WiF, kettle, safe
3.6
The view but there was a tree blocking it though. So it was basically a partial view
It was super hot. No AC. The bed was super uncomfortable. I had to ask for a fan because not only was it hot but there was a lot of music noise coming from outside. The fan was able to cancel the noise.

it has a good location, the view is also very good and they are pet friendly
it was very dirty, the linen sheets had stains, hot water was not running very quickly, not a lot of amenities, staff also not very friendly

The location is walking distance from downtown.
Beautiful historic building, big property.
Pet friendly ❤️
Our room with balcony had an amazing view.
They have a mine tour in the same property.
