All perfect! The staff was so kind that I had probably never encountered before. Cleaning ok! Large room equipped with all comforts! Abundant breakfast full of choice from sweet to savory!
Great location! Possibility to leave your luggage in case of need!
If I ever go back to Manila, I will definitely come back here!

Location
Check in Staff could be more attentive. Though the service is good, could be better if the check in staff are more attentive.

I need to glue up my sandals on the day of the wedding event of our family and the engineering has a magic glue to stick it up and it saved my day! Kudos to the 5 star service!

Service was excellent and beautifully maintained lobby

The hotel is OK (only "OK") and not entirely what you would expect of a highly-rated hotel in Manila. Not all facilities as mentioned in the description were open. The lobby bar is understaffed (or the staff is too slow) causing long waiting times. Two times queue waiting for breakfast as no tables available-.(but an excellent selection at the breakfast buffet). Two times room cleaner overlooked the "privacy sign" and entered when I was sleeping.

You know what you're getting with the Peninsula. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and great service. The pool area is nice and you can do proper lengths. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance and with the Manila traffic, it's a good location if you have to get to the airport.
It didn't bother us but if you want to sunbathe, you can't as the sun is behind the hotel in the afternoon.

Our stay at the Peninsula was beyond amazing. Truly a first class, luxury hotel. We were well looked after from the moment we were collected from the airport, until we were dropped off again to go to our next island destination.
Our favourite parts of our stay were:
Exceptional staff - it was all about the small details. The Pen did room service twice a day, and it was so lovely seeing your bed made and ready for you to hop into , ice prepared and bottles of water in the bedside after a big day of exploring the city.
Amazing facilities!
Security.
Thank you for the beautiful stay and we can’t wait to be back.

While the rooms show signs of age the hotel is a lovely place to be. Good food, comfortable lounge and public space, lovely gardens, great pool
The rooms are aging. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, no ironing facilities in room

The hotel could use a coat of paint.

I love the Buffet breakfast— the selection of foods, the value, everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone was accommodating to our needs and request. Special thanks to Dennis (don’t know his name)
I was hoping to exchange more dollars instead of the allowable $200 a day.

The Location is excellent. We have stayed here before and love it. Breakfast is good.
Staff were not as attentive as the last times. Breakfast staff were very slow. I had to order coffee 5 times to get it finally arrived was the wrong order. They seem to want to rush you to finish and also seem to sit you in demographics which is not great. Communication was non existent and they just didn't seem attentive to anyone's needs.

The staff were superb, they deserve an annual raise. The facilities are well thought off.
The toiletry tubes were not sustainable. There was no free shuttle to malls and touristy sites. The parking was limited and looked crammed. Lastly, the breakfast did not showcase much of the traditional Filipino food like Puto bumbong, bibingka and kakanin.

Water Pressure- So strong, heater was working well. I had a chance to use the bath tub and didn't have trouble filling it up.
Wifi Connection- It was an exemption that a room can connect 10 devices all at the same time. It was definitely a bonus.
Helpful Staff- from housekeeping to room service to front desk and concierge, all provided excellent service, very respectful from check-in to check-out.
Bed- We were given 2 twin beds. It wasn't exactly a fit for us having a 6-ft husband and a 5'3 son plus me being 5'4 so we had to pull both beds together to make us fit but there was still a gap. Nevertheless, we still like its comfort, pillows were a bonus.
Location - Although Glorietta and Landmark was near, it still required like a 10-15min walk per way, depending on where you want to go. The underpass was open but when we were there, the escalator going up wasn't so it was definitely a challenge for my husband who has a knee problem. This wasn't the hotel's fault though but one has to really put an effort you if you want to go to Greenbelt/Glorietta area or SM Makati.

Loved our view of Ayala Ave and Paseo. The holiday vibe at Pen is always so amazing :)

Conveniently located near all the shopping places in Makati. The lobby is really the best part of this and is never without people especially in festive seasons. My family has been dining here on different occasions and had a number of them over Christmas or New Year.
The staff are excellent, always polite and will be quick to attend to your requests. I was amazed by how unfrazzled they seemed even in busy periods. as this is one of the older properties in Makati, the rooms are spacious.
The room and bathroom styles shows its age and could probably use a redecoration. it’s really a minor thing though and a matter of preference.
