Everything was excellent, it was like a magical fairytale. I did not expect to enjoy it like that, I found the most beautiful place with amazing people. If you are looking for treatment then this is the place where you should go, it is in the forest with very nice waterfalls and with amazing accommodations. Near the complex is also the hill with the temple where you can go for a walk. I had a body massage and it was the best massage that I had, I was also in yoga class and it was also super nice. All people who I met there were so friendly and nice that I did not believe that is possible to find a place like this. The staff did me a tour around and they showed me some hidden spots like waterfalls etc. The food was delicious and for sure in the future, I will want to come back there again and I hope that I will have the chance to see them again.

I really loved the Samadhicentre. As I kept traveling, this is what I would recommend to others. The repurposed antiques make it a really special place, the owners are so open, and I had an aryuveda full body massage that was amazing. I was looking for introspection and rest and found it here.

Remote jungle with outstanding views framed in authentic style of the sustainable living in the nature. Amazing staff, hospitable hosts and friendly atmosphere.

It was the best decision to visit this beautiful, unique, and antique place before the New Year.
The place where you can totally reconnect with nature and your true self.
The peace you feel at Samadhi brings you to total rest and rejuvenation.
The staff is incredibly friendly and treats you like family. I'm grateful to all these amazing people who did really take care of me and provided me with interesting experiences and sightseeing.
The food, which is cooked on real fire, is so authentic and delicious.
I did Ayurvedic treatment at Samadhi, and it was my first experience. It was not easy for me, I must say 🤣. But the support I was given from all the team members definitely made me go through this easier. The Ayurvedic doctor is real professional with a great sense of humor, which made me laugh, and at the same time, I knew I was in good hands.
You must meet the owner of this hotel, Mr. Waruna. You won't regret it. Those deep conversations we had, I will never forget.
I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to all the travelers who are looking for rejuvenation.
There is nothing I didn't like.
I left only with one comment, which I gave to the owner.
I suggested providing the disposable underwear for Ayurvedic treatments for the guests, and I'm sure it will be considered.

If you want to relax & rejuvenate yourself, this is the only place in Sri Lanka. We traveled intensively in Sri Lanka but we got amazingly surprised at the Kandy Samadhi center. We got treated like royalty. The environment is very calm and mind-blowing. The staff was amazing & super friendly. Ayurveda treatments & Yoga were the best in the world & highly recommended. The food made from organic vegetables grown in the resort's garden creates special interest. After two years of waiting without traveling Because of the covid-19, this was the best happened to us.
Thank you Samadhi team!

Our host was very nice. This is a great location for people who like yoga

Incredible place. In the middle of the woods, isolated and every bungalow feels isolated in itself. I stayed for 5 nights and only left the resort in the first day. Other than that staying in the resort for 4 full days was not too much at all and I would've stayed longer. There's yoga, massages, river, the cutest dogs, hikes. Incredible, amazing place.

Samadhi center is an absolute gem hidden in the forest. It nurtures the eyes, the soul and the body. The setting is stunning with the sound of the river flowing lulling you to sleep. The rooms and all other facilities are clearly the work of love and care by the owner and desire to share with the rest of us his vision of healing and connection. The staff makes you feel like you are at home and part of their family. The food is great, some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. We had the package with yoga and Ayurveda treatment and we left completely rejuvenated. A must!

Come to the Samadhi Centre for relaxation, immersion in nature, and comfortable accommodation in rustic mud houses on grounds created by a hobby architect who salvages amazing objects and incorporated them into a former tea estate. It's a 50-min taxi/tuktuk there (there is also a bus from Kandy). The staff are local, dedicated, and genuine. The food is Sri Lankan and delicious (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The Ayurvedic treatment is authentic and of incredible value. Their riverside chaise lounges and pavilions provide lots of opportunities for sunning, reading, and idling. There is also a waterfall nearby with a refreshing swimming hole.
Because of the isolation, the only place to eat is Kandy Samadhicentre itself. While the food is delicious, it costs extra (unless you buy a package I guess). It would be better to include food in the price (at least breakfast and dinner). The costs for meals are three times the price in local restaurants and guesthouses, which is hard to swallow when you are used to paying so little in town.
The yoga instructor was also local and very knowledgeable, although she held back her class and instruction for beginners. If you are intermediate or advanced, keep in mind you might be getting a simplified version for the sake of others. Classes are also twice the price what I spent at a hotel in Ella, for example. Maybe there is a better, package deal on offer, but I booked "a la carte." I didn't elect for more daily 07:30 classes after the first one because of that. However, one can practice on their own in their wonderful space (mats provided) because it's not used outside the 07:30-09:00 yoga session (at time of writing).
