Paradise. Getaway. Sanctuary

👍 this paradise deserves a six star review. The resort is built in the middle of a dense forest. So you are literally immersed in a therapeutic trance of water running, birds chirping and critters singing all day and night. The basic room is luxury in size, with a garden separating the ensuite toilet shower. The breakfast, lunch and dinner can be adjusted to your dietary requirements. There's a chemical free swimming pool that uses water from the mountains. Then there's a natural pool with water directly flowing down from the mountains. Ashley, the resort manager, has a heart of gold and he leads a team who will contort themselves to attend to your needs. The staff were just common village girls and boys, and they deliver friendly yet professional quality service, considering their humble beginnings. So tip them generously. Dilan, the massage therapist does a massage truly reflecting Sri Lanka's spirit -- relaxed, gentle and yet to the point. After the massage, you can use the wet and dry sauna. If you are keen to try Ayurvedic treatment, simply ask. It's a perfect getaway from city hustle bustle and paparazzi. A sanctuary for the soul. A place to heal your spirit.

You will not find anything greener and serene than this place- every inch is beautiful

Everything! It’s hidden in the middle of the nature next to a beautiful river. The interior and architecture of the accommodation blend beautifully in the green area. You’re really in the nature, with plants, bushes, creeks, trees and cute animals sticking out everywhere. At the same time you have all the conveniences of a luxurious and gorgeously designed lodge. Just as the place itself, the surrounding area is amazing. There are stunning waterfalls and river spots nearby. Walking around is convenient as there are barely any cars on the roads. The staff is amazing. Helpful and kind in a serene way. Honestly the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka, wished we could stay longer. We hope to come back. Visit it now before it becomes too popular.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Wundervolle Lage, wunderschönes Hotel, zuvorkommender Service, freundliche Menschen, immer mit einem Lächeln!

Leider wird der Müll nicht recycelt und Plastik wird nach wie vor im Dschungel verbrannt. Hier könnte das Haus mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen und dem Begriff Eco im Namen gerecht werden.

Место. Вы попадаете в сказочный мир. Вокруг невероятной красоты растения, течёт река, поют птицы, бегают бурундуки 😊 время медитировать и расслабляться. 1. Безумно красивая вилла 2. Вкусные коктейли 3. В номерах чисто 4. К отелю сделан подъезд, машина сможет проехать

1. Персонал немного невнимателен, ошиблись с заказом. Также вайфай настраивали в нашей вилле при нас, что мешало сделать это перед заездом гостей? 2. Холодный бассейн. У нас вилла стояла в тени, и вода в бассейне не прогревалась. Мы в нем пытались поплавать, в итоге ничего не вышло, очень холодно. Ну и просто отмечу, что это джунгли и насекомые вам в номере обеспечены)

Okay but a lot to improve to feel welcome.

The architecture of the buildings, the facilities, the location (in the middle of the jungle) and the chef cook.

Not a warm welcome and the staff should be better organised. Also, we have chosen the hotel because of the spa facilities (last hotel before going back home & after hiking a mountain) but there was nothing to offer, very strange.

Arsulana Eco Lodge is heavenly. This is the most beautiful hotel i’ve seen in Sri lanka. Clean rooms, very good service, delicious food. I highly recommend this hotel! The environment blended with rain made it magical. Thank you and hope to visit here again. Keep up the good work ❤️

Lovely small hotel isolated in the jungle. Nice rooms and facilities. My son forgot his teddybear at the hotel and the management made the effort to deliver the teddybear in the airport for us when we left Sri Lanka - Amazing:-)

A little piece of jungle paradise.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The facilities were great with both a fresh water pond and a swimming pool. Food was fantastic and all made fresh before mealtimes. We hiked Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) on our first night so the second day we spent relaxing at the hotel. It was so tranquil and calming. My wife had a massage which she loved. We will definiteley be back!

For our next trip, it is a "Must" to go back there, to meet Manoji, Sanath and the team

What an extraordinary place to be and to relax. A few miles from the main road, but you feel like in the real Sri Lanka surrounded by nature. Time to do nothing or to walk to the river close by or the beautiful Aberdeen waterfalls. The newly opened facility in a refurbished old farmhouse provides all the comfort you look for, created with lots of the taste by the owner. A natural pool is the latest invention. The staff coming from the small village nearby is very attentive. They serve excellent Sri Lankan food, every day we were asked on our preferences. This place is still secret which will change quickly. Rather than going through booking platforms, we suggest to contact the owner directly for individual rates.

For us, everything was perfekt. We had been so happy to have found this place.
