Really beautiful place. The views through the balconies, at the pool etc are just absolutely stunning, feels like you’re in a well maintained jungle. Convenient to walk to central Ubud through Campuhan Ridge Walk where there are no cars or scooters.
Facilities are top standard, very comfortable, and a very well working aircon.
Service is fantastic, staff are all very helpful and friendly. I sadly had some health issues on the last day of my stay and they did their absolute best to help me recover as much as possible before my flight.

Everything was amazing, we couldn't fault the hotel at all. Would 100% stay again.
Nothing!

The location is pretty impressive and the overall way the villas look is super nice when you get there… but then when seen closer things are by far to be perfect or to the level they want to be for the stars they have.
The attention to details is very very very low. Probably not the same cleaning culture as in Europe I guess because I cannot explain it otherwise . I know that we were in the middle of the jungle but to have the entire jungle in my room was not on my list. Ants, bugs, spiders, lizards … all in the room. The doors have some space and do not close 100% and things can come in. Also old furniture in the room is not very ok and may sustain the ants and bugs.. We had a villa actually and hoped to have a great time but unfortunately things changed from the second day when after a massage at the hotel spa one of the ladies there performed a harder twist and literally injured my fiancés knee. They went to get cream and bandages to help but.. the damage was done. This things do not only ruin a holiday may also ruin the life one you are home because you need to attend that injury. In the same day we discovered that we have bedbugs bites … so that forced us to move to another villa. They just do not clean with the high standards that they should and as per the cost and stars of the hotel. Also the breakfast sucks. Only Indian food… a continental breakfast should be served so all the guests can actually eat something else than toast and cereal. All in all a very big disappointment. The staff was super nice and tried to help but would be better to not have issues to solve.

Very friendly staff, beautiful views, great location, out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk. Shuttle down to town is great!

The location is in the jungle, on a hill, with a beautiful view of the valley. They offer free shuttle bus to Ubud center. The breakfast was good, with enough options to choose from. The pool is clean. Close to the location you can find some small restaurants and coffee shops. The service was very good, all team is very helpful.
The rooms are a bit aged, but we heard that they already started the renovations.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was amazing. The breakfasts had a great range of things available. Quality food. The shuttle service was great for us and our children. Ridge walk also easy way to get to town

Breakfast had plenty of options. Was very nice. Rooms were spacious. Loved the location and the pool
Was a bit difficult for my elderly parents to access the shower in the bath tub but otherwise everything else was excellent

Loved the surroundings all green around the resort. Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast. Shuttle service was very convenient way if going to the city

The location is far from the hectic tourist spot with the privacy and quality of pillows. Staff also super friendly,
The smell of mildew might be due to the room bot air out for sometimes.

I really liked the pool to cool off and the jungle room view.
The Campuhan Ridge Walk is close, so you can walk to Ubud centre (25 min). By car/taxi it will be the same amount of time, so don't bother. Plus it is a good exercise at the morning.
Shuttle service to Ubud Centre starts late at the day (10 or 11 am) and shuttle to hotel is also very early in the afternoon (4:30 pm). Why would you have a Shuttle service at these inconvient hours?
The breakfast could be far better. For example: the coffee was so poor I had to order coffee from the espresso machine. But this is not included in the breakfast so I had to pay extra.
The room is very nice although showering you have to do in the bad. All the water stays on top of the tiles or goes into the walls. You can see the water damage already from the outside. I think it will be a problem in the future.

The nature of this resort is nice! If you want to stay out of town this is good location.
The staff are very nice!
I’ll only recommend those who can accept the nature life because staying in resort you can have insects experience,
1. Ubud town just 25mins away by bike
2. Restaurants are good especially old fashion in Ubud.
3. Suggest rent a bike if u want to visit any places in Ubud.
Can be little improved in terms of refurnishing the old furniture, the reception area can be look modern classic because it was look old and can have the wood smell during raining.
1. Breakfast option can be better and change menu everyday day.
2. Can sweep the swimming pool area everyday as lot of leave and frog surrounding. Others are good! The pool view very good!

Location, free shuttle to Ubud.
we didn’t like this hotel. Unfortunately, it’s old, in the room were insects ( including huge cockroaches!), it wasn’t insulated properly, all nights was noice from frogs.

Spacious and cosy room with a beautiful view.
The restaurant is way too expensive.. and the food surprisingly basic.

Quiet location away from the bustle of the Ubud main town. Pleasant staff who made up for the property’s shortcomings with their warm hospitality.
I upgraded to the villa after my first day and felt that the rooms were so much more pleasant. Would really recommend the villas at the property as it was better maintained and cleaner (More information at the cons below).
Property and facilities
- Except for the villa the normal room was dated with need for upgrading. I had initially booked the normal room but was disappointed at the cleanliness and general upkeep of the room. The toilet and floors were dirty and the wifi was unstable. To make things worst, the room had poor sound proofing and I could hear everything from the guests walking, kids running and doors slamming (why do people slam doors, seriously…). But things were much better when I moved to the villa as mentioned above.
Breakfast
- Very sad breakfast selection. Will not consider dining in or opting for the package with breakfast. I hope that they will improve on breakfast options.

The Lokha feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. It's a wonderful getaway from central Ubud with the maddening traffic. Other than frogs and birds, it's very quiet and peaceful. It's just far enough away to feel like a getaway, but not that far from central Ubud to be totally remote.
At first, we wondered why the route to get there by car was so awkward and odd, but then we realised that the property is pretty much on the extension of the Campuhan Ridge Walk. The start of the walk is about 10 mins from the resort.
We actually used the Campuhan Ridge Walk as a shortcut to get in and out of town (you'll get sweaty doing it though!). It's the most direct route by foot.
The grounds, rooms and surrounds were all beautiful. The pool area is great for lounging, and the meals area is great too. We also appreciated the air conditioning.
The only thing that wasn't quite as good as other resorts and hotels we've stayed in is the included breakfast. The omelettes were good, but there wasn't much choice, and it felt like it could be done a bit better.
Additionally, just be aware that you'll be in a relatively wet, jungle environment so it might feel a bit damp and dank at times. The air conditioning should help to relieve this.

Very clean/modern room and immaculate everyday cleaning during my stay. The amenities were nice and have good quality. The hotel is located in very lush tropical area so there are may large trees near/ inside the hotel ground. The view from infinity pool is really nice also.
The location is a bit far from Ubud center (but within walking distance). If travel by car or motorcycle, the hotel is only reachable via private road(?) which you have to pay the 'road maintenance fee' every time when you enter the private road entrance if you travel by car or motorbike.

amazing villas, great facilities. you if wanna stay in private villas I would recommend next numbers: 601 - great river view, 602- big garden and privacy, 604- good view in tree’s, 605 - for big family. 506-509 close to restaurant and noisy! 510-511- roofs view ( not recommend). 503-504 no privacy coz everyone can see you from balcony or reception area of hotel.
breakfast very poor! Indian style, need to change immediately. but staff is great

The service was extremely good, so friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful views from the balcony and luxurious style of the building.
Cleanliness. We found large cockroaches on our first night in the bathroom, they immediately changed our room but even then there was bugs and webs under the bed which showed cleaning wasn't thorough.
The location of the hotel is a 20 minute drive to central ubud so if you want to explore the local area you will have to take a taxi into town.
