I was grateful to wake up in the morning with all my organs, alone in my bed, in the same location I fell asleep in. Going that picturing is clear enough for you.
Horribleeee Experience.
Never had anything near to this in the 20 countries I traveled and the 40+ cities in India I went alone as a single woman...
And booking.com service in resolving the issue is also a '0' so far... 2 weeks waiting.
1st as exolainef to booking.com several times via email, my booking.com account and as stated on phone to booking.com agent who answered my calls this 25th sept. (female) around 6:30pm and the gentleman who answered my call the next morning around 11am on 26th Sept. Because I had to call back since the last night woman did not 'call me back' as she said she would and didn't not send me relocation options for the last 3 nights it of 4.
I am still waiting for the 3/4 nights refund from booking.com.
This hôtel ISN'T A HOTEL... Booking.com clearly hasn't fulfilled its duty of sending an agent on site for sécurity and sanitation assessment before listing on your site for the Public to 'Trust it is A Safe Place to Sleep at'!!!!!
-This Hotel has no hotel door...!!
-My Room was the size of a wardrobe
(nothing like the photos you, booking.com share in your site with reference to this hotel)
-My room had no shower
-Hotel had no elevator and I asked for a 'quiet room'.
Being in 1st floor in a hotel with no elevator and multi story high = everyone going in and out we hear.
-I was on the 1st floor - the room giving on the road (opp. Side of the street a park filled with untrustable men 'to say it nicely') -
Event though I asked for a 'Quiet room'; comment which I put in the section during booking on your site.
-My room had a Window which doesn't shut/locks properly
-Room was uncleaned
**I have photos and videos which supports statements.
-At 4:30pm when I was walking to my hotel 2 blocks away from the hotel was 4 big police trucks.. 2 blocks away in day time...
26th morning agent also said hell do the needingful, call me back in 15 mins. Which he did, and send me relocation options immediately which he did but sent only 1 option and that 2 blocks away from the hotel location I just gave him all détails about.

nothing, all bad
smell in the room was horrible, room is insalubrious. you shouldn’t be able to rent this without refurbishment

Very close to Saint charles train station, that is what i needed because i stayed only one night in Marseille. Very quiet and comfortable to sleep.
Only thing i didnt like is that they are closing doors after 24:00 so you cant go in after that, but i managed with host to get one hour later and to call her to open the door.

The hotel owner is very nice and helpful. Apart from that glad we got out of there when we did!
Noisy neighbours chatting til 2am and slamming doors. I didn't particularly appreciate the ant colony in the bathroom or the well I can barely call.it a shower you needed a degree in astro physics to work it out and no shower curtain, not.to mention the shower control unit was hanging off the wall. Dodgy electric wires hanging over the room. No air con in marseille summer.

The woman managing the rooms.
Facilities, overpriced, not even the basics, it had a weird smell. It doesn't deserve more than 15€ per night. There wasn't even a door to separate toilet from the bed. Awful. It wasn't soundproof so you could listen any noise during the night.

Friendly host, easy to reach from the bus station, which is exactly what I needed. Good place for a short stay!

I should have study this property better. Lady running it was nice. However, place smells like urine. The toilet is in the bedroom and doesn’t flush well. So, there is that. No a/c, scary neighborhood. There was a mouse in my room. it was the worst place ever. The positive the lady was nice and I hope they can reinvest money to make it better. Overall, the city is a scary place. I don’t like graffiti either and it was everywhere. Very sad that you would ruin agent buildings with such filth and trash.
see above. host lady nice.

The location is pretty handy
No Wifi, too loud, No AC, no private shower and toilet, dirty toilet, no place to hang the towel in the shared shower, closed at a certain time so entering requires knocking

Location is good, very close to the main Railway Station and not far from the city center either. Lady at the reception is friendly and willing to help, speaking French only. Towels and bed linen were clean.
Rooms look old, shabby and there is a strange smell. My room had the WC separated only by a curtain, so basically in the same place all together. There was a shared shower, but there was an issue with the hot water.

The location very close to the station is good. To be fair, it was the cheapest Marseille hotel the night I stayed.
Bed sheets and towels were clean and my bed actually pretty confy. But it is a scruffy old place generally.
The main problem was the guy in the room next door talking loudlly on his phone till 3am and then playing even louder rap till I left at 7am. It's not the sort of place where you'd challenge a nobhead like that.
Generally, I wouldn't think about taking my wife or kids here. But if you're desperate, you'll survive a night or two. The main train station and bus station for the frequent airport shuttle service are 5 mins walk away.

nothing to like
It must be declassified. it isnt a place to live. I fell into the bed because it was a weak and old one. i quit the room after 2hrs of being there. because i was scared for my safety

Bathroom wash HUGE (compared to what is typical at this price)
Woman who ran the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful.
Close to the train station...
As this is an old building, the only way up (and my room was on the top floor) was by stairs...
Although there was a desk and chair, with the location of the bed it was a squeeze to sit at the desk.
A steep uphill climb up from the centre of town/port area.

Nothing
The hostel is closed at midnight!! So if you come bake later you cannot access your room. The bathroom is not prepared well it will become full of water after a shower. The room is not worm at all.
I do not recommend this hostel at all.

If I could put zero I would have. This hotel should be closed. The owner is the king of hostility and should be banned from providing hospitality. The doors of the hotel close between midnight and 6 am no one is allowed to go out or in. I am not at my mother's house. I was going there for a vacation, not to pay to be confined. If only that was all it was, apart from the fact that the room was filthy, the toilet didn't work. The aggressive and violent owner refused to do his job and repair what I consider to be the minimum. Basically we paid to be locked up and insulted. We didn't last more than a few hours. I am shocked and outraged by this experience!!
EVERYTHING!! It is a dangerous place to go!
