The location here is wonderful, right in the middle of Ubud but surrounded by greenery and trees. A little oasis! If only the facilities met the location with the same expectation.
I'm not sure where to start I nearly left it was so bad, when I checked in the lady ignored me for 20 minutes while she was on a call. She did not make eye contact or acknowledgment, then when asked about a bike I requested she didn't have it and wasn't polite or friendly.
I then checked in eventually and went to the private room with a jungle view, thinking it would be quiet but the neighbors were out on their patio smoking at night and dragging furniture. They did this into the night! It got so bad and the walls were paper thin, I could even hear them cough and go to the toilet. Needless to say, I got no sleep and the next day was about to go home.
I then decided to give it one more shot and upgraded to a stand-alone villa and they were more than happy to double my room rate with no apologies for wanting quiet without any apologises.
After my second night and finally changing rooms and having a good night's sleep I thought the breakfast would be good, but it was glass noodles and some old-looking watermelon and pineapple. I ate out every breakfast because the food was so sub-par. There are so many amazing places to stay in Ubud save your money and go somewhere with better service!

Location was in the centre of Ubud but it felt like it wasn't in the centre because it was inside a forest/jungle a bit, away from the people and traffic.
Breakfast was very basic and so were the rooms and bathroom. But that's what you get for the price.

The location near the center is great. The rice terraces in the hotel give a wonderful cachet to the place.
The pools and jacuzzi were very nice. Breakfast was good and the even prepared it earlier for us because we had an early departure for a cooking class.
Unfortunately, we did not have time to try the spa or massages.
We were 9 people in 5 rooms and all of us were really happy.

The Resort can easily be a 5 star with the acres of land, pools, spa center and a lovely open cafe which serves vegan raw food and the best green juice money can buy. If you are looking for tranquility and to lose yourself in the greenery cut off from civilization with no frills, this is your place to be. The Kajang paddy fields are literally short walk behind the resort, the staff are friendly and polite and is clean.
Lots of backpackers and yoginis seem to frequent the resort for the green Ubud experience. Location is great once you trek down the 3 km market street which gets you bang in front of the Ubud Palace and Saraswati Temple. Lots of little cafes/ restaurants dotted along the way to the Resort on the Street Market.
The resort is at the end of a very steep incline in the middle of the Ubud street market. My Taxi conned me and dropped me at the bottom of the market saying cars are not allowed, THEY ARE. I felt like I had conquered the Himalayas by dragging my luggage up a 3 km steep incline through a busy bazar to reach the property ( I would have expected some sort of shuttle service) . The property does not put this out on its website so be warned! Also only vegan options for food served which is limited, there is a small coffee shop which sells Tiger beer within the property.
My small cottage was unfortunately near a lotus pond and since it rained the day i arrived the frogs and other amphibian animals were awake , croaking and singing all night long for a city resident I was quite freaked out and couldn't sleep a wink. The cottage comes with a decent air conditioning, a comfortable bed and pillows, towels and decent bathroom with good water pressure with no additional toiletries except bath towels . The cottage was extremely compact, no frills and very basic.
Breakfast was disappointing given that its a well known clean raw vegan health resort with wonderful options available ala carte. There was a choice of light gluten free pancakes or eggs with a small portion of fruits a mixed dragon fruit smoothie in a small glass and black coffee.

it was nice place with many statues in surroundings and some small rice paddies. pool was good to. but second pool and jacuzzi asks for renovation. staff was helpful.
no refrigerator, no water heater, so you you want fameous instant noodle or just put some cold during you have to go all the way downstairs to ask for hot water or to put your bevs in their central ref. breakfast was medium. if you like pancake like me it's OK else you will have to find workorund. our friends who stayed for few nights here got room without any doors separating toilet and bedroom... so would suggest to ask before ordering. BTW wifi is just a name but it keeps disappearing or not working properly.

Ubud Sari is a very charming collection of rooms in very attractive gardens right in the centre of Ubud. While the rooms are quite simple, they are comfortable and the public areas - restaurant, coffee shop, swimming pools, loungers and gardens are a joy. There’s also free cold water in a water cooler to top up water bottles. An interesting collection of books too. Very helpful staff. Because it’s along the street of the craft market car access is a little difficult. Best to go to Ubud Central Parking and it’s a short walk down an alley from there.
The furniture in the rooms is pretty basic, but the areas elsewhere are very nice to spend time in.

Perfect location in Ubud. it’s just by the big market street and very easy to walk to the main streets with the temples or for food or shopping. but it’s very quiet which we loved and the entire place is very lovely with the river and ponds. we used the spa and even though the price was more expensive than in the main streets, it was very good.
The room we had was quite basic, same for equipments. it was a bit used and would need a refresh but the price of the room was quite cheap so you get for what you pay.

Everything. Including staff , location , breakfast, facility all were just amazing. Best place to stay in nature. Quit place connected to city center. Most of the visited places was near by, street shopping, restaurants is at walking distance.
We stayed for 3 days here and need to extend for one more day which we asked at 11th hour but the request was taken care very nicely. All the staff are very polite and helpful. Spa / jacuzzi/swimming pool , cafeteria everything was there. A perfect place to relax. Overall stay was superb or must say Awesome.
There is nothing to dislike, just one need to mention , in busy hours , cabs are difficult to reach this hotel. You need to take a 2mins walk which is I think completely okay.

The staff where so friendly and the location is great. The Ubud Markets are directly in front of the Hotel. It’s a very peaceful athmosphere and very silent inside the hotel. Thank you!

Amazing grounds, could literally spend days there without leaving the resort. The main pool is as good as they come, surrounded by so much beautiful nature. Staff were lovely and courteous. Treatments were good.
Rooms were basic and I was put in the wrong room for my first night (I booked a garden view room and was given a river view room instead), and was not offered any type of discount for their mistake (the river view room was definitely a downgrade from the garden view). When I told them the following day they then gave me the garden view and moved the other people who had booked the same to the river view room which made me think that it wasn’t a mistake as they had done the same thing to these people.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. We especially liked how they provided fresh juice and a hot drink
We were very disappointed with the state of the rooms. For the price of the room, I expected a well maintained and updated room. The first room we were assigned had wallpaper peeling, an old mattress, and stained bathroom tiles. We requested another room that was an upgrade but also didn't match the price. There were may brown stains on the mosquito net (see picture). Id be happy with the state of the rooms if it was 1/3 the price. We stayed at nearby homestay for 1/3 of the price and it was 2 times better.

The breakfast and location was good.
The room is a bit old, the A/C isn't strong enough and the bathroom was quite dark.

The staff was really friendly and helpful (especially the restaurant crew and the housekeeping team to be mentioned). The whole resort emits a „relaxed vibe“ and it feels good to stay there.

the property is amazing! you have the feeling that you are living in the jungle next to a rice field. the stuff is super friendly and the food they serve is really delicious
our bathroom was smelling really bad! but overall the room was good and clean

location was excellent, gorgeous setting in a rice terrace. breakfast was good. Nice swimming pool.
No safe, Tv, bathroom was very basic. Tea and Juice given with breakfast were tiny, about a mouth full, if you want more you will be charged, and then you will be charged 21% for tax & service. It was very wet and slippery.
