We had a lovely couple of days staying in this perfectly located home away from home. The view of the mountains is outstanding. It was so relaxing I didn’t want to leave. The home had everything we needed and was super quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The communication with the property owners was also so easy.

A very peaceful and relaxing setting where we spent two nights. It did not feel that we were in a sterile road/travel environment but rather a home.
The decor and furniture was outdated but quaint.
The kitchen area (oven, microwave, counter tops) was not especially clean and one lazy boy armchair was definitely in need of replacement.

Comfy and well equipped home. Not too warm in the depth of winter . Central location close to Lake and lovely views of the mountains.

Property is very clean and tidy with everything you need if travelling with a family or group. We have a family of 5 (2 teenagers and a toddler) and found it perfect.
While the house is older it is very comfortable with beautiful views from the lounge room and a real homely feel. The only downside is it did get a bit cold inside but if a family from Queensland can handle it than it’s not a big problem! Note there is also no dish washer so this might be a problem for some?
Overall with 3 rooms (4beds) this is a good choice for families or groups who want a comfortable place to stay.

We had a lovely stay in this great bach. Clean and tidy and close to town. Has everything you could need and was cosy and warm with heaters and blankets. The wine and heat pump turned on before we arrived we're both super lovely bonuses. Stunning views and a great place to chill out or a base for adventures.

Very clean. Great instructions with some nice wine. Great location and good information provided. Helpful brother next door. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend or stay there again. Nice patio and view. We would like to meet the owners and thank them personally. Amazing landscape with a lot of great hikes and tours.

Would not recommend this property for more than two people. Was advertised as sleeping 8. We had 6 of us and that was a struggle. Toilet, shower, which is over bath, and washouse all in tiny one room. Double beds, not even queen size terribly uncomfortable. Lounge chairs and sofa uncomfortable. Rubbish still in kitchen bin on our arrival.

We had a great stay! The unit has great views from the doorwall and back deck. The views were ever changing with the weather including wonderful sunsets and rainbows after the rain. The unit had everything we needed. It was the only place we stayed that had a coffeemaker and not just a plunger/french press, which was nice. Very convenient for Milford sound day trips.

Awesome...gave us everything we needed.
Would not hesitate returning.
