Everything! Especially the night sky and the nature surrounding.

We stayed a lot of places on our 2 week trip around NZ but this was by far our favourite.
We’d planned some downtime in Te Anau after walking the Kepler track and 3 nights in Te Anau seemed like a lot. Kepler Oaks made our stay so comfortable we could have stay another 3.
The chalet was well appointed with a huge TV, dishwasher, large bathroom and lots of space to spread out including onto the deck to watch the gorgeous sunsets and sunrises.
Helen was incredibly gracious with her time taking our girls on walks with the animals. We will be talking about Kepler Oaks for a long time coming and even considering swapping Northcote in Victoria for Te Anau.

Keplar Oaks is a beautiful property. The scenery is breathtaking and the host is friendly and considerate.
The spa is kept near Owner's deck, and even though privacy is assured, it will be better if the spa is located near the rental units for people to use them as and when they want.

Spacious enough for a family of five. Friendly host. Our children loved the lamb, dogs, horses and chickens which roamed freely on the grounds. Helen was an excellent host and even provided us with freshly baked bread and slices of cake. The kitchen was well equipped.

Nicely appointed property, in a country cottage traditional style with a modern twist. Well equipped. Split into two units - our family of 5 had the 2 bedroom unit which was good size. Beautifully kept, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Located on the same land as the owner's property but at a suitable distance for privacy. Surrounded by open fields and mountain views but only a 5-10 minute drive to Te Anau. Helen was a lovely host. The personal touches of freshly baked bread, butter and jam added to the experience and were very tasty! Helen did offer our kids pony rides but sadly rain put a stop to it but this again was a lovely touch. The addition of bedroom wardrobes (useful for longer staying guests), deck table/chairs to eat outside in the evening and perhaps a partition on the deck between the two units for privacy would be our suggested additions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
