Off the Beaten Path

Clean, comfortable room with a delicious breakfast. This is a small village off the beaten path. This is in a pub, but it was very quiet the night we were there.

No food available in the evening on the Tuesday night, but they were very good to communicate that ahead of time.

Nice room in a pretty town

We stayed one night as we had to attentd a wedding at mount juliet. Staff were very friendly and gave good advice about taxis. We would stay again if we were in the area.

A lovely stay in a lovely village.

Small hotel in a neat little village. Rooms were simple but comfortable and as you would expect. Breakfast was good - loved the fresh fruit salad and cooked options done very well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely walking around the village and river.

Closing food service by 6pm - this is very early in summer for travellers I think. The slowest filling toilet cistern in history was quirky but not a problem.

Very comfortable home from home

Great little B&B breakfast right in the centre of Inistioge. Over a pub, however it was very quiet even on a Friday night. Extremely comfortable room and bed. Coffee/tea facilities in the room and complimentary water. Fabulous breakfast in the morning, freshly made full irish breakfast with good quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend.

Inistioge was great, and the Woodstock Arms in the center of this quaint village. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly. The walks near hear were beautiful as well. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful overnight in a quaint village by a river. A number of films have been set here!

This was a lovely village and the Woodstock Arms was right in the center. We were able to walk around the village and along the beautiful river nearby. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful - and the breakfast was served in a lovely room with delicious offerings - including a variety of cheeses that I loved sampling. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We arrived on a Saturday, and they stopped serving dinner late afternoon. The host kindly let us eat our own picnic out on the pub table - but I would make sure that you have food with you if you are arriving later in the day.

Professional, friendly, perfect.

The room was clean, and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a selection of hot and cold foods. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and I hope to stay again.

We will be back! Great weekend.

Everything! We had a really enjoyable weekend in Inistoge. Woodstock Arms was really comfortable, immaculate clean and big friendly welcome! Breakfast was the best! Freshly cooked full Irish, cereals, fresh fruit salad and devine yogurt selection. Great pint served in the bar. Inistoge village is really beautiful, the River Nore flowing by, Woodstock Arboretum, although a short stroll from the village, you could walk for hours and still not see it all! We have no hesitation recommending Woodstock Arms, and we will certainly be back! Catherine and Paul

There is no local restaurant at the moment, but thats not a secret, we were informed before we arrived. Don't let that discourage you, ask Richard and Annette for advice, they will advise you well. If you want to stay local, Woodstock Arms serve a very reasonable and tasty fast food menu. A restaurant should be opening in Inistoge in coming few months, planning in situ.

It was the perfect break. We loved it

Food was fab, staff were great and really looked after us. Owners Richard & Annette are 2 of the most hard working people I know. Richard’s knowledge of local history is amazing.

Would have preferred a slightly bigger bed. Not a complaint just a matter of preference

It was a very relaxing stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Breakfast was excellent. Great choice and properly cooked (by the proprietor herself). It's family run and they are proud of their offering. We had food in the bar on arrival and it was very good. We hit lucky with a group of visitors playing and singing traditional ballads. Made the trip all the more enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like. The location is lovely. Inistioge was very quiet when we visited and that's what people like about it, most likely. The pub is the centre of activity in the village and long may it last.

Lovely pub in a gorgeous village

The room was a lovely size and the bed was very comfortable. The linens were good quality and the curtains helped keep the light out. The location was brilliant and having the bar next door very handy for relaxing with drink.

The room smelt damp but that's probably because it's lower than the ground floor.
