This property has everything you could want or need to make your stay special. There were lots of little extras that were very much appreciated.
Nothing.

Location, cosy and just what we required for our short stay.
We felt it could have done with a small sofa or alternative seating for comfort while watching the TV.

The Annexe was spotless, with a roomy bedroom, comfortable bed, Sky tv and a stack of goodies left by the host; milk, wine, raspberries, strawberries, cream and biscuits. There’s soap, towels and fans, everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The location in West Runton is amazing, the beach is perfect, the coastal walk to Sheringham is a breathtaking AONB; I love North Norfolk. Great communication from David, oh and lots of space to park up too. Recommend the Corner House tearoom for delicious small meals. Thank you David and Judith.
Nothing.

The annex was small but perfectly formed and just right for a holiday stay. The location was superb just a short walk to the beach access and in-between Cromer and Sherringham and at £2 per bus journey we went all over.
A half day of rain, don't suppose anyone could do anything about this.

location, comfy bed, hot water, very well equipped.
the comfy chairs were not very comfy!

it was very clean and came with plenty of information about the area , cycling, tracking, beaches etc. we got wine, strawberries and cream in the fridge very well situated 5 min from the beach, and in the same street there’s pubs and shops,
a bit noisy the boiler in the night time

beautifully done out & clean. well equipped kitchen & the fruit, cream & wine in the fridge was a very kind welcoming gesture. Bed & bedroom very comfortable & location great for beach.
lounge area rather small & chairs a bit uncomfortable to sit in & watch television for any length of time.
a small TV in the bedroom would have been a nice alternative.
4.7
Very quaint property, with excellent facilities. Good central location to many different towns and villages, with walking distance to the beach.
The one and only fault was the sticking bathroom door, that could easily be rectified.

We were self catering. Very happy with the property and had a nice surprise of a bottle of wine and berries waiting in the fridge when we arrived
Bathroom door very stiff. Also did not realise how close to the main road the property was.

It was a welcoming , cosy bijou cottage. The owners respected our privacy . There was surprise treat left for us in the fridge. Things worked well. i.e, T.V shower etc, The bed was comfy & everything was clean
It was a little close to a busy road. Didn't disturb us but had to take care crossing.

good location could catch the train or bus so no need to drive if you don’t want to!

Location was perfect. For train and buses as we didn’t drive.

Everything was lovely. It’s the second time we have stayed at the property and it was as we expected from last year. Very highly recommended. Pet friendly is a bonus.

Lovely place to stay, well equipped and in great location

The Old Barn Annexe is compact and charming and perfectly situated for visiting Sherringham, Cromer and beyond. We received a lovely welcome pack when we arrived and David was the perfect host. The decor is lovely, comfy bed and good shower. The sitting area could be improved but we managed and everything else more than made up for it. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.
The village store was very good and we discovered fresh eggs for sale along the lane to the beach. The Thai take away in the village was delicious.

Everything else was great. Perfect for a couple. Owner very helpful and easy to contact. Very comfortable bed. Constant hot water. Everything very clean. Cooker and microwave worked well. Situation ideal for us as we had no car. Easy to catch bus or traIn. Very private and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
Shower was powerful and hot but VERY stiff to turn on and off. Also the fridge was old and I wasn't confident that it was cold enough to store everything I bought including seafood.

There is plenty of space to park. We liked the decor, especially the wooden shutters and comfortable bed. We also liked the fact that fruit, wine and milk was left. This showed a lot of thought. We liked the fact that cleaning products were provided. We also liked the friendly note left, with details of how to find local attractions. We also liked the fact that the owners of the property did not bother us at all and left us to our own devices. Also, the garden area felt very nice, well taken care of and fairly private for an afternoon cup of tea. The HD TV and sky was good quality and decent reception.
The space in all honesty was limited, but it is what we were expecting. The shower room and toilet is very small, but access to the shower itself is good. Work top space is limited, but we didn't cook, just used the micro wave, so it wasn't a major problem. The situation was noisy with traffic, which did make it feel less peaceful in the day time, but this fortunately died down around eight at night. We appreciated the heater which could be used as a fan, as we were lucky enough to have very good and hot weather. It cooled the bedroom down very nicely.

Property was exceptionally clean. Off road parking was an added bonus. Owners on site but left us alone, but would come if requested.
Lovely shower, comfortable bed.
Nice thoughtful idea of fresh strawberries and raspberries with cream in fridge, together with basic groceries and a bottle of wine.
Perhaps a few more cooking utensils. Pair of scissors for opening packets, and some pots and pans, handle of saucepan was very loose, possible hazard.
4.7
Had everything you needed including tea, coffee, milk etc
Lovely touch with fresh strawberries & raspberries with cream and a lovely bottle of wine.
My only criticism is the blinds, beautiful but dusty.

We had an absolute perfect stay in a gem of a little cottage . It was spotlessly clean and very cosy . Perfect for a couple . Mr Travers left us a welcoming letter giving us extra details and some real “ treats” in the fridge …. fresh strawberries , raspberries and cream , wine and some chocolate biscuits in a cupboard ….even fresh ground coffee and a cafetière which we appreciated .
Super !!
Nothing !

Great location, good parking, comfortable, homely and loved the little extras touches like wine and strawberry’s on arrival. Also loved the little terrace area outside.
Slight problem with the bathroom door sticking and shower tray filled up with water but wouldn’t stop us staying again
4.7
Location excellent for travelling about. Bed was so comfy.
Shower difficult to turn off. Stiffened up when pipe got hot. Maybe some instructions on how to use oven. But we managed to deal with both of these problems without disturbing the owner.
4.7
The property was immaculate and very cosy
Wine & strawberries in the fridge on arrival along with tea coffee & chocolate biscuits
Fabulous location ❤️

Lovely place to stay, small but has everything you need. Good location to travel up and down the Norfolk coast. Excellent wifi, interesting books to read, cosy outdoor space with evening sun.
Although we managed absolutely fine, fridge was a little on small side for the excessive veg we brought with us.

Perfect location lovely walks nearby . Public transport nearby. Property perfect size and had everything we needed and more .
