About this house rental
Our cottage rents from Friday to Friday, so you have a full weekend with us. Also on Saturday it’s crazy with everyone-checking in and out. Spend that day on the beach, not in traffic. This newly remodeled Beach House on the Bay sleeps 6-9 people comfortably, with NEW MATTRESS installed June 2023. A Large family room with large island, dine-in kitchen, 55’ Smart TV with cable, streaming, and DVD. Large entertaining wrap around deck to watch the sunrise or sun set. Six person table with umbrella is perfect for sitting back and enjoying the view, or sun in the chase lounge chairs. Small bistro table., and six chairs on the back deck, to enjoy the sunsets. Or a quiet cup of coffee. 4 Beach cruisers beach cruisers, four smaller bikes one with training wheels. It makes it an easy ride to the beach in about 3 minutes. The walk is an enjoyable, no more than a 8 minute stroll. The house has multiple beach chairs, plenty of beach toys to help build that Sandcastle, when you return enjoy a hot or cold outdoor shower, to rinse off that Sandcastle. Fix dinner on the propane grill with all the cooking utensils you would need. Large living room Dine-in kitchen with island and dining table Master bedroom: King size bed Second bedroom: Full-size bed Third Bedroom: Queen Bunk Bed under Twin above Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa Wi-Fi Gigablast Internet Netflix, Hulu and much more for streaming Board games for rainy days Dock for fishing just bring your own poles. Fully stocked kitchen, 12 bath towels, 12 hand towels, 12 wash clothes, 12 beach towels, kitchen towels and dishcloths, washer and dryer, vacuum, broom, auto dust pan, cleaning supplies. House supplies 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 paper towel, 4 trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and cleaning supplies. Should you need more there is a local market three miles from the house, as you come into Sandbridge across from the Fire Station. This is a quite neighborhood and most are year round residents. No house parties, no under age drinking. There is an age requirement for rental. Thank you for understanding.else

We had a two family get-together at Lina and Andrea’s beautiful house - it was perfect for our needs. The littlies loved going to the beach (a few minutes away) and the road the house was on was also very quiet and great for small kids (and rollerblading!) Lina was kind and responsive throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have enough time to try everything out so will have to return. I’ll have to bring my SUP next time - the water in Back Bay looked beautifully calm, and there’s a dock to launch right off at the bottom of the garden.

It was an awesome visit, they haven't seen their grand children in a long time and a great grand child. The house was the perfect place for us to stay in. Lot's of room and time to relax. The kitchen was the busiest part of the house because we love to cook breakfast before starting the day. Thank you for having us in your wonderful home! Minor issues were not a problem.

Family with two boys under two looking for a quick get away. This was the perfect remedy. House was nice, great location (quiet and maintained) and the host was amazing. Just enough space, great deck, and nice neighborhood for walks and biking. She was very attentive and helped us in short notice. Would stay again! Thanks!

This was exactly what my family was looking for. Nice short walk to the beach, and perfect driving distance to all the tourist attractions. It was also far enough away from the majority of the tourists that it felt like ‘home’.

My family and our besties stayed in this property to enjoy a week on the beach. The house was well stocked with all the necessary amenities and the bikes/scooters were a great hit with our kids when we trekked to the beach. Great place to lay low and enjoy the sunshine!

We were only at the property for a couple days for a high school graduation, but the area and residence were wonderful. I would stay in this area every time I visit the VA Beach area in the future. Communication with the host was great. Thanks for everything.

This was our first time to Virginia Beach area and we loved it! The house was great for our family of 5! It was clean and cozy! Communication with the property manager was timely. The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen items as well as lots of games for a rainy day. My son loved fishing at the lake behind the property.

The location is great, but could have been a bit cleaner. Sleeper couch needs to be replaced as it was not comfortable for 2 tall adults! The outdoor shower was full of spider webs and dirt/sand and was not operable.Shower head fell off. 2 of the bedrooms were very small with no closet space to hang up anything. Master BR was comfortable. The dock out back on the water was in disrepair and a liability waiting to happen. Tear it out or repair it!

What a great stay that we had! The home was clean, with a lake view right behind the house and a quick drive to the beach. The neighborhood and area was peaceful and safe. We enjoyed lounging in the home which had plenty of space for our kids and babies to run around and play. One of the best parts was due to early check in! We were able to come in earlier since the cleaning was done. What a treat! We will be coming back!

If you are looking for a safe, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. This is it. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay, they had. Walkable to the beach, quiet neighborhood, plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children, laundry facilities and so much more. Thank you for the great stat and we will seed you again soon!

My family absolutely loved the property! The house was great for 9 of us and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house was very clean and had everything you could ask for! We loved eating Thanksgiving dinner on the deck overlooking the water! Very close to the beach and an overall great location. We'd definitely drive 5 1/2 hours to stay here again!

This house is in a great location in Sandbridge and the hosts are very responsive and communicative. The kitchen is well stocked with both a keurig and a small coffee pot so bring your k-cups. There are some seasonings and left over cooking spray so pick that up at the store if you plan to cook. We loved having access to bikes to get around Sandbridge vs. needing to drive. From what my husband and I consider to be comfortable, we didn't enjoy the bed in the master bedroom and the furniture in the living room isn't comfortable for watching a movie. Most folks won't hang out in the living room very much when visiting the beach but if you're hoping for big comfy couches for family movie nights at the beach they might not be your preferred furniture. There are nice bean bag chairs for your kids to plop on if you're traveling with children.

We had a wonderful time. Loved the location and water view from expanse deck. House is very well appointment, clean and comfortable. Appreciated all the extras like bikes, fooze ball table, lounge chairs, and outdoor dining table. Will rent again in future

The property was great. I enjoyed my stay. The only thing I'd say is the couch was old and uncomfortable. There's a dock in the back with wonderful views, but the dock itself is in need of repair. Otherwise, it was a great vacation spot for a quiet friends and family getaway.

Nice place to stay on back bay, complete with its own (very)little bay beach. Just about half a mile from ocean. Lina was very friendly and the house gave us no problems.
