The house was amazing and we loved staying there on our wine trip!

We do a family vacation every year with kids and grandkids. The house was perfect for the 7 of us. It has beautiful lake views. There is lots to do in the area that is family friendly and the deck and open living area and dining area at the house were perfect for family dinners and games.

This was one of favorite vacations ever! The location directly over Seneca Lake is beautiful in every way! The expansive deck was much enjoyed and we cooked on the grill most nights!
I only had two big problems-the amenities list wheelchair accessible-I was not able to transfer into the shower bc opening was too small, NO grab bars and the bed is too high to transfer to. The kitchen is very tight and I was unable to cook. I washed my hair at kitchen sink and made the house work for us.
It was a wonderful vacation otherwise and contact Jolene responds quickly to any questions. I only ask that you remove that it’s wheelchair accessible because as stated it is not.

The setting was perfect. Quiet spot with fantastic views of Lake Seneca (and in our case, fall colors) from inside and outside on deck. Easy access to main road and local attractions. House was very comfortable with first floor living for us, who appreciate easy access. Love it that doggies are welcome! Thank you for your hospitality!

High and not-so-dry, but a save in the end.
We were scheduled for last week and was fine right up to arrival. However, as we were walking through the house to check out the bedrooms and assign sleeping, we noticed the water filtration system overflowing in the lower level bedroom. I ended up swabbing the deck for 45 minutes until the maintenance could get there. First contact with the management was not great. They offered a refund but otherwise left us high and not-so-dry with no place to turn. However, after a call-back 30 minutes later, the management did provide a contact for a local inn and some $ towards one night to get us through. The contact came through with a small cottage that saved the weekend for us. The weather was beautiful. The fun little Finger Lakes Rail Riders was pleasant and something a little different and a walk around Watkins Glen provided a little exercise between wine tastings. Topped off with a stop at the Spotted Duck for ice cream and duck watching. Yum. And thanks for the help to see us through.

Great property!
We had a great stay at Seneca Lake. The house was well kept and had plenty of space for myself and 5 others. The deck was spacious and had an amazing view of the lake - we spent a lot of our time out there. We look forward to another trip in the future!

Finger Lakes stay
In all house was perfect. We had problems with furnace and when addressed with the owner it was with turned over to a property management company. My question is how can you be a Super Host when don't even speak to your guests?

Breathtaking view of Lake Seneca and every amentity.
My husband and I and another couple stayed in this beautiful lakefront house for 4 nights. The house was very large and could have easily accommodated another adult couple and children too.. It was very convenient to all of the wineries on the west side of Lake Seneca and short drive to Keuka. We loved the wrap around deck with expansive views of the lake. The living room was glass on two side and two of the bedrooms also had a view of the lakes. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was extra of everything including a welcome bottle of wine. The kitchen was well stocked and included a cupboard with every spice imaginable and flour and sugar. You could have baked a cake! The layout of the kitchen was a little strange and difficult for more than one person to be near the sink but we made it work. The fridge was large and so was the stove. Check-in was easy with a keypad that you added your own code when you got there. It was a bit off the beaten path so there was no traffic noise and it was so nice and quiet. you only heard the sound of birds and squirrels and the waves lapping at times. There was a small dock a short walk down the hill where you could get in and out of the water on a ladder if you came in nice weather or fish. There is a binder with information about everything in the house and surrounding are including rental information on kayaks, canoes, bikes and so on. I would stay at this house in a minute. Two small complaints is there are no TVs in the bedrooms. We are used to that at home and always prefer that to fall asleep. We stayed in the master bedroom on the main floor and the bed was very comfortable. Our friends stayed in the bigger bedrooms on the lower floor and said that bed was not comfortable. There is another bedroom but they did not try that one. I would highly recommend this property.

Our second stay here - one small quibble
It's a great location and a great property. Plenty of room for 3 couples plus 2 small kids, plus a dog. Plenty of privacy. This time, the floors were surprisingly a little dusty, but that's probably a one-off thing. It wouldn't keep us from staying there again.

Great weekend retreat!
We enjoyed our stay at Seneca Vista immensely! We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying our coffee in the morning and adult beverages and snacks in the evening. What a treat as it was the beginning of October. Conveniently located by great vineyards and a short drive to Watkins Glen. The house was clean and very lovely. Everything in great working order with an outdoor fireplace to boot! Definitely recommend for a long weekend!

Fun family getaway
Our family enjoyed this home very much. It was very well stocked and had every kitchen appliance we needed. It was a little concerning that after booking, the welcome letter recommended that guests don’t keep their boat at the dock because of potential bad weather…but the dock does have whips and the weather cooperated so it worked out. The house was big and beautiful. The view amazing. The only negative is that it only has air conditioning in the bedrooms. Our week was very hot and humid so anytime spent in the house unless sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable, especially while cooking and when it rained. If staying in cooler weather, it’d be perfect! All in all, we had a wonderful time with many wonderful family memories made!

Fantastic stay for entire family & our dog
Our family loved the house, location and amenities. We joke that as much fun and enjoyment as we had, our son's 10 month old puppy probably had the greatest time. Her first time away and she lived in the water. So convenient for her to run down and jump off the dock swimming and fetching. We enjoyed the ease of taking our kayaks off the dock and so did she.
The house itself was impeccable. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. For us, the kayaking (we brought 2 and rented 2) was on of the highlights. Taking the kayaks and exploring the lake. In the morning catching the sunrises and at night, the fires in the fire pit were a great way to end the day. In between, the convenience to wineries, breweries and many other attractions is the best.
Already planning our stay here for next year.

wonderful time
The house was clean and fully stocked with linens and kitchen appliances. The deck had a beautiful view of the lake and provided plenty of space for our group of 5 to enjoy meals or just hang back with a glass of wine. The dock area was set up nicely. Reagan's delivered kayaks right to the waterfront area for us. The lake was crystal clear and great for swimming. The location made for relatively short trips to everything from Geneva to Watkins Glen. The finger lakes area and this house provided everything we look for in a vacation, comfortable accommodations, great waterfront property, and so many things to do and see nearby. We can't wait to do this again next year.

Excellent stay
Everyone enjoyed the stay, we thought the bathroom situation may have been an issue for 4 couples but all worked out well. The view from the deck was fabulous....the view from the dock area was even better. I have knee issues so it was a little slow going to walk down to the dock area but we managed. The house, linens were spotless. Kitchen was well appointed, all appliances were in great working order. Nice quiet setting. And of course the most important thing was easy access to visit local wineries. My husband and I have coming to the Fingerlakes for 28yrs- always stayed in motel/hotels..liked this experience much better. Thanks again.

a great stay!
We really appreciated the accessibility of the home, our friend was able to navigate almost everywhere she needed to in her wheelchair. They also have a new fire pit area than the one included in the picture, it was great!

Wedding weekend
The four of us had a fabulous time in FLX attending a friend's wedding, taking lovely hikes, and enjoying great food. The house was the perfect place to relax and regroup. It was clean, spacious, and easy. My new happy place is the deck, overlooking the lake with a cup of coffee.

Spectacular Views, Great layout of house!
We had awesome time, brother-in-law requires crutches and this layout was perfect, No steps to get in the house and everything he needed was on main floor including large deck with awesome views of Seneca Lake! We were there for winery and small get togethers with local relatives, So we didn't use waterfront that had all you would need for a summer day but was down a steep path.
Agent and owners easy to work with, Will look to return some years!

Very secluded, quiet, beautiful view of lake, stone and dirt road requires low speed and caution, roomy, kitchen serviceable, downstairs HVAC systems noisy during sleep, love hiking and tasting opportunities around the lake!

Spectacular Lake Front Home
Everything was as described in the listing. We got lots of great information from Joleen prior to the trip, but once we got there we never reached out to her. There was no need - everything was just perfect. Five of us stayed there - grandparents, parents and one grandchild. There was lots of room for all of us to gather, along with lots of room for each of us to get away and have some down time. We enjoy cooking our own meals and the cookware in the kitchen was of good quality, and we had everything we needed.
All in all, we would recommend this property and will stay there again if we’re in the area.

Wonderful view of Seneca Lake!
When we arrived we were impressed with the view from the deck. It is a gorgeous view. I was disappointed that the end tables, and dressers were extremely dusty and dirty. Some of the kitchen counter tops were dirty and sticky. Their was quite a lot of dust and dirt on the floors. The tub in the master bedroom was dirty and had hair in the drain. I did let the manager know that the home was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. When I contacted the manager about other minor issues, she responded right away and resolved them. Their was a major leak from the water softener system in the basement. The manager responded quickly and it was resolved within an hour. We found the beds to be clean and comfortable. It seems as if the bathrooms could use some upgrading. The view from the deck is gorgeous, as I stated. The dock and the deck should be replaced or at least upgraded. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and we found the furniture in the upper level living area to be comfortable. Lovely view's from the window's! A couple of days were very humid and hot. The bedroom air conditioners and the three fans were of minimal help in making the house comfortable. Might want to consider central air-conditioner.

Seneca Get Away
This place cannot be beat for location. Right on Seneca Lake with amazing views from the upstairs. It's definitely a place to go if you want to relax and forget about city living. It's a bit rustic with just the basic amenities but clean and inviting. Plenty of room to spread out and have alone time if you are a larger party. The dock is really nice to head down to for a glass of wine or a picnic. Nice grass area with benches that pop up to create a small table. The property manager Joleen was very responsive and sent along updates as we approached our arrival date. A very pleasant experience!

Couldn’t have been smoother!
We stayed at the house for our sons graduation at Ithaca College. We wanted a place that could accommodate our group and give us a place to relax and unwind from a busy weekend. Well we found it and it couldn’t have suited us better! We hope to return to enjoy the house, incredible lake view and vineyards in the future! BTW, thank you to the owners for the bottle of wine they left for us, very sweet!
Joleen was great to work with and I look to working with her again. Super helpful and responsive! An all around great experience!

We loved our stay at Seneca Vista! It had a gorgeous view. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great jumping off spot to see the Finger Lakes. Very spacious house with all the amenities. A lovely
What a view! There were times that we just sat and relaxed and enjoyed the view of the lake. Our last night We saw 3 deer grazing. Beautiful. The house was spacious with enough space that 4 adults did not get in each other's way. A lovely place. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view of lake
The view is beautiful with just the right amount of shade during key times on the deck. The lake/dock access is an easy walk through the woods over a beautiful stream. We rented kayaks and a canoe for the week which they dropped off at the dock. Vehicle access to the house and dock are well maintained. The house is nicely equipped with comfortable furniture and wifi. No issues with the electronic lock. Bedding and towels nicely done. Grill had fresh propane. Water treatment was great. Close to our favorite wineries. Truly hassle-free and beautiful!

Very nice lay out. Beautiful views. Prompt service, easy access to the lake. TV in master wouldn't power up, Overhead fan worked but bulbs were out.
