It’s a stunning property, my partner and I loved it here! The honesty bar was special and the bathroom and room were stunning and huge. The staff are fantastic, never had such a welcome to a hotel and were looked after.
Only thing is the bed was not a king. It was little smaller.

Bathroom had bath in the bedroom and tap was dripping all night so finished up throwing a towel into bath to stop the noise. The whole place looks dated, but clean and well kept. Honesty bar is a nice touch but as I paid £50 for breakfast and didn't have any and spent £30 in honesty bar, given price of stay might have been nice to offset the cost. I paid as requested. Left before breakfast so didn't sample it. Handy for getting into town and secure parking is a bonus.
The pictures of the room present a lot better than the actual room itself. It was spacious and comfortable but not luxurious, a bit like a nice old seaside hotel with slightly dated decor. I'm not quite sure how they've arrived at the room prices, but if they can get it then fair enough. I wouldn't stay again at the price I paid.

From start to finish we can not fault this hotel, all of the staff made our stay amazing.
The bar could do with a bartender as the honesty bar did not work for me. I come on holiday to relax and enjoy the surroundings, not work. I know it sounds petty but I work in hospitality so I just want to relax when I go somewhere nice.

Great breakfast and lovely staff. Ample parking, nice decor and facilities.

The hotel was exceptional. Room was large with a beautiful bathroom with rain shower head. Additionally there was a large claw bathtub too. The staff was helpful and courteous.
I had No complaints.

Beautiful hotel . Amazing helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing
The couch in our room had stains on it. The hotel restaurant was closed on a Sunday evening so had to catch a taxi into town ti eat dinner which seemed a shame after paying for the hotel for 1 night

As expected, the room and the bathroom were big, clean and modern. We had a good night there. Also the breakfast was very good. The stay overall was good.
There is enough parking space and a bus stop is nearby.

Very expensive breakfast, we were very surprised.

very helpful and lovely receptionist Francesca, replied my message very quickly before I arrived, provided all the helpful information when I checked in. A gentleman called a taxi for us and brought us to the car. superb service.
nothing really. the location is not in the city centre but as they said in description, 30-40mins walk or £7-9 Uber.
4.7
Everything! close to centre, friendly, attentive staff, room was fantastic and spacious. would def recommend!

really cute boutique hotel, the honesty bar was a cute idea. The bathroom was lovely and the bath a very nice touch.
it really didn’t feel like a 5 star experience, from staff being moderately attentive (trying to check out there was no one at reception, turns out the person was having a cigarette out front of the hotel) to the bed definitely NOT being an ‘extra large’ it was a Queen at most. Just certain things you’d expect to be better. Just a kettle and instant coffee for instance, you’d expect a coffee machine for this price, water not always being super hot. Nothing outright bad just not great.
4.7
Nice comfortable rooms, boutique hotel, the chic honesty bar is a lovely touch to this hotel.
For the price point of my booking I’d say it didn’t quite feel it met the expected standards, it’s a lovely looking hotel but room was let down in certain areas.

If we ever travel to Bath again, we will definitely choose this Hotel again. Everything was impeccable, extremely clean (one thing I always check in the hotel rooms is the kettle, which in 90% of cases is dirty inside, but this one looks like new so big plus for this). I found in the room many snacks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Very friendly staff, when we arrived they gave us a map of the city and gave us all the information we needed to make our vacation perfect, helped with the luggage, etc. I highly recommend, it is definitely worth the money!

Nice enough hotel. But for the price thought it would be more upmarket.

beautiful old building sensitively restored!
hard pillows (but that’s a personal choice thing) no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer

Really friendly staff went over and beyond. They even put balloons in the room for my partners birthday. The room was beautiful and breakfast was amazing really good quality.
Nothing was amazing just wish we could afford to get away like that more.
