Lovely flat in great location

Lovely flat, very comfortable and great location with proximity to the beach, high street and a few minutes walk from the train station. Well equipped kitchen, great shower and comfy bed.

Flat was quite drafty which made it cold but there were good radiators so it could be quickly warmed up. I was given the wrong code for the lockbox and the hosts didn't respond to my attempts to message/call until the following day. As a woman travelling alone this was not ideal but thankfully I was still able to get into the property with the help of someone at the shop where the lockbox was located who happened to have a spare set of keys.

St ives is beautiful, great beaches, food and friendly people. The loft was a great location.

Property was modern and clean. Good location for the beach and shops. Hosts responded quickly to messages.

It was very difficult to sleep with the noise of the seagulls, so took a while to get used to.

Very central and convenient

Excellent location, few minutes walk away from the shops, restaurants, the harbour, beaches and just over 5 minutes walk to the train station. Could not be better in terms of convenience. The property was really clean and with lovely high ceilings felt very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery etc and included everything you need to keep the place tidy such as bin bags, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs (no washing machine). The apartment is only a couple of minutes walk away from a Co-op so cooking is definitely possible. We actually used the kitchen less than expected as we were so close to so many nice places to eat or grab a small bite.

With the excellent central location also came a fair amount of surrounding noise from the hubbub of the local traffic, tourists, pub go-ers and of course the seagulls! This did quieten down in the evening but I would probably not recommend The Loft if you are a light and early sleeper, otherwise it's a great place to base yourself. Warning, loo roll is not provided!

Magnificent and exceeded expectations!

This place really exceeded expectations! This is the first property we have been to where the rooms looked even bigger than the photos. The view was magnificent and the apartment was so clean. They had everything and the towels were excellent quality. We will be staying there again for sure! The apartment was very large and spacious and our 2 year old loved it there too.

It was perfect, and you don't get that often when booking online... I'm going back next year :)

It was a gorgeous location, as described, and the flat was clean, airy, well laid out... felt a little like home from home if I was lucky enough to live in St Ives. I seriously can't fault the accommdation, location or how friendly everyone was.

the keys are ‘looked after’ by the cab office next door so don’t ever be later than midnight because the owners lock you out !!!

Lovely apartment above St Ives sea front. Had a great stay and would definitely choose it again if we return to St Ives!

Overall we had a lovely stay at The Loft

We stayed at The Loft for 10 days. The apartment is well equiped & well organised. Very clean & overlooks the sea. We loved the view from the kitchen window. We asked for a travel cot which the owners provided & the sofa bed was easy to use & fold away. We really enjoyed staying here.

No shampoo/shower gel provided. There is no parking avaliable & it can be abit awkward coming in & out, especially with a pram as the pavements in St Ives are skinny. The windows sometimes get stuck when opening & closing them & the blinds aren't easy to open/close. As we went to leave, the blind in the bedroom fell down as the screw had come lose & the plastic had snapped!

One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed

The apartment was stunning. Beautiful decor and so spacious and comfortable. Views were fabulous and the location made it so convenient

Very nice, spacious apartment with a beautiful sea view from the kitchen window. The host was very helpful and provided much information.

Some places like windowsills were a bit dusty, but this might have been due to the construction work at the house facade.

An excellent apartment with everything you could need and beautiful views. Perfect location in the centre of St Ives.

A very well appointed apartment set in the perfect location with beautiful views across to Porthminster beach & Hayle. All of the shops and restaurants are really close by meaning thee is no need to travel. We used Barnoon & Station car parks with a weekly rover ticket & had no problems finding spaces. The perfect place to stay in St Ives.

Beautiful location with nice views. Comfy flat with good facilities.

Location was great! Not easy to stop and unload the car, but it was easy to park at Barnoone carpark and bring the items down. The flat was large and comfortable. Thanks for having a history of st Ives book to read. Also loved the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.

Some difficulty parking the car outside to unload, but hey it’s St Ives so what can you do. Very early check out time (9:00am) Blankets in living room needed laundering.

close to the beach, and in the centre of st ives it was the perfect spot. It was incredibly cosy, but also spacious, a well equipped kitchen and a great shower. perfect spot, we stayed 6 nights and didn’t want to leave !

Would have been nice to have more information in regards to location with the booking confirmation. Booking.com said it was in the oval building on market place. There was no information about it being opposite, Inbetween a1 cars and off the beaten track.

A relaxing, beautifully-decorated, spacious apartment—walking distance to everything in St Ives!

There was no breakfast provided. We brought in our own groceries.

I hate to include any criticism at all, since we had such a lovely visit, but I will say that the pillows on the bed could have been better quality, and it would have been nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided (we had to go out to purchase those). On the plus side, the kitchen was well stocked with things like olive oil, salt and pepper, tea, and sugar. Kind of hoped to find coffee (we left ours for the next guests), and it's always nice to have a basic array of spices to cook with, but I'm guessing COVID may have played a part in their absence.
