Coupled with a wedding at Lane's Bend, This was the perfect place for the bridesmaids to stay. Totally peaceful, beautiful and serene, yet less that 3 miles away and only about 5 minutes. The house is perfectly cute with a front porch and a great screened back porch to relax and visit. Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful to work with and communicate with. We stayed at a different location and I was totally jealous of the bridesmaids for the location and experience they had at this house. Thank you Elizabeth for your part in making the wedding weekend special. May you be blessed for sharing your home and kindness with us.

This was our 4th year to stay here. We love the cabin and all it offers. Great location and fully stocked. We plan to return next year.

Spacious enough for the 4 of us. We never felt crowded like we would have in a Hotel room. Everything you need is there to use. Private and quiet.

Great comfortable place to stay. Super cute. Just be aware there is a giant hill of a driveway to drive up, worth it in the end but can be scary if you aren’t expecting it. Great stay here!

Everything about the cottage was just perfect for our moms and daughters overnight trip! It was such a cozy, comfortable place, super clean, and perfectly located for our two days of waterfall adventures in the area. Would definitely recommend!

We came for a sisters and nieces weekend. There was plenty of room and it was all so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The screened in porch was so relaxing and our favorite place for morning coffee and tea. A+++ place to stay!

It was a beautiful cottage. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our family had a great stay… but we all felt that two days was not enough! Great place to stay for a Tennessee Tech graduation or fora time in the woods. Wonderful mountain top experience!
We hope to come back again and stay longer. Thank you!!

We had a nice stay at this clean and comfortable cabin in the woods. You drive up a small ad windy gravel road to get to the top of a hill where the cabin is located. It is surrounded by pretty woods. This is the quietest rental home I have ever stayed in! Only sound is the birds singing. Owners are friendly and responsive and answer any questions quickly.

Just driving up the hillside in the woods was great. Then the house appeared. It was what we wanted! The yard was so pretty. We spent majority of time on the back porch enjoying nature. It is a wonderful place to relax. Thanks to the owners for sharing.

This cottage was such a a lovely experience. It was quiet with beautiful views. The property is gorgeous and private, yet only a short drive to shopping, eating, and state parks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

I love the mountain cottage. I haven't slept better in a long time, and we have access to so many nice restaurants. We did a ton of hiking, and the waterfall hikes were pretty special.

We were in town for a CrossFit camp and met our 2 adult daughters in Cookeville. Great home away from home! House had exactly what we needed and the property is beautiful.

This might be the best place we’ve ever booked through VRBO. The location is secluded but convenient to Cookeville and TTU. The cabin is clean and well appointed. Unlike some places, which give you only “starter packs” of paper towels, soap, etc, this cabin comes fully stocked with everything you need.

House surrounded by woods. Amazing to sit on the back porch with the wind blowing the autumn leaves off the trees.
House was great with plenty of room for us all. We enjoyed family time, cooking meals and some wine. Cookeville was a fun town to tour. The hiking in the state parks was one of the reasons we picked this house. Close to so many. We saw some beautiful and amazing water falls which included the turning of the leaves
picturesque. We found an apple orchard with all the wonderful baked goods near Pikesville. Trip was peaceful, fun, and healthy.

Everything was as advertised. Clean, beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. Area to walk around. House was well maintained. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind in the midst of a busy weekend in town for a family event. Each morning, we took a walk and enjoyed the scenery. The layout of the house was great too.

This was a lovely place for an overnight stay as we toured Tennessee Tech for our daughters. The hosts had all the extra special touches that made you feel welcome ! Thank you so much!!

This cottage is absolutely adorable. Nicely decorated and had everything our family needed (kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and bake/bathrooms have plenty of towels and wash cloths). We stayed for almost a month and loved every minute. The property is gorgeous and private. Owners live on the property but, with all the acreage and trees, we felt completely separate. Lots of cleared space for kids to roam, great backyard fire pit for roasting marshmallows, beautiful screened in back patio for morning coffee. The beds were also comfortable, which was a relief given how long we stayed! Elizabeth and Nate are great hosts! Easy to get in touch with if needed. Would highly recommend.

An incredible cottage on a hilltop with plenty of land to walk. Only a few miles from stores, restaurants, etc., but it is a complete escape from “civilization”. My family and I absolutely loved the property and cottage.
The owners are beautiful people and even shared some fresh picked crops from their garden with us!

Went down to visit family over a long weekend. We all loved the cabin. Spent every morning on the screened in porch drinking coffee and chatting.

The cottage is a cute cottage tucked away in a rural area. This is great place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts are great and respond quickly to needs. I would recommend this cottage to others traveling through Cookeville, who want privacy and quiet.

When we walked into the cottage we immediately regretted only booking one night! It was absolutely charming and so cozy. The property was beautiful and very private. It was obvious that the owners had taken extra lengths to make it feel inviting and to make their guests feel welcome. They had everything you could possibly need. We are already planning our next visit.

This is a cute little property. The owners did a great job leaving us all the information we would need to know during our stay. They had some great porches to enjoy sitting outside in the evening. I will definitely book again when I am in Cookeville.

My husband and I stay in VRBOs 2-3 times a year for different hiking/vacation trips we plan. This one ranks as one of the very best experiences we've had!
Not only was it clean and well-maintained, but the setup was just PERFECT for relaxation. They had a vase full of roses on the coffee table upon our arrival. The screened-in porch was where we spent almost all of our time while we were in the house. And, the bed was so very comfortable.
We're used to needing a 4-wheel drive car most places we go, but it is important here, as the drive up to the home is short, but very much at an incline.
We even had a big downpour storm our final night and the owner was out early in the morning making sure the driveway was safe for us to go down.
Excellent location for quick trips to the area's waterfalls and trails (which are also gorgeous!)...but let us tell you, it's going to be difficult to pull yourself away from relaxing in this home.

The home had everything we needed and some. My favorite was being able to open the windows or sit on porch and hear the birds and watch other wildlife run around. It was so relaxing.
The master bedroom mattress was so good that we ordered ourselves one! We will be going back again!

Such a pretty piece of property and the house is adorable. Pictures do not do it justice. Very comfortable bed. Loved the fireplace and fire pit. No noises other than birdsong. Would definitely recommend to others!

We enjoyed our short stay .. What a cute cottage, very clean and decorated so nice. I wish we could have had more time to enjoy our coffee on the back porch . It was very well stocked with everything you may need.

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. We had time to explore the woods behind the house which was incredible! Beautiful outside spaces all around . The home had some many cozy spaces and was exactly as presented online. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
