A great place to stay with family but you need a car and fit to walk up many and steep staircase

Exceptional

Bloemendaal is a beautiful location. Easy to get around on bikes with kids. The accommodation was fantastic and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Six stars for them!

Trying to balance blocking out the sun with the curtains for the kids to sleep, while still getting fresh air in to keep the room cool was difficult. Having said that, the staff were very helpful in providing fans.

The Apartment Park View was really beautiful, nice furniture, wooden floors, wonderful terrace, great shower and a lot of space! Kitchen was well equipped although we couldn't find any water glasses. And thanks for the children bed.

Checkin was really complicated, because we got !3 wrong address and had therefore really troubles in finding the right door until someone in the restaurant below helped us. The double bed was way to soft, the neighbours above really loud. We had to pay almost double as much taxes as booking.com showed us before booking!

beautiful apartment in a lovely location

far too small for a family of more than 2 adults and 2 children - other people walking through the main bedroom to use the toilet at night and sleeping basically in the same room except for a partition was FAR too cosy! the toilet is NOT suitable for a larger person - luckily we are all Dailey slim but knees were bashing the door when sitting on the loo and not enough room to take trousers down with the door shut!! this was just too small!!! *** the stairs leading up the the apartment we’re VERY risky for anyone younger than 10 and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. be warned, they are NOT easy for anyone with knee or hip problems or over the age of 50!

The stairs are kind of dangerous. Very abrupt. you need to be very careful going up or down the stairs.

Dress up, chin up.

Lovely, stylish apartment with really friendly and helpful staff who also do bike hire. Definitely recommend a cycle to the beach but dress up and work on your posture if you want to compete with the Dutch.

The loo was a bit of a squeeze for the more leggy members of our party.

Lovely apartment, but toilet needs update

The apartment is lovely, clean and in a nice quiet area. Beds are comfortable, our child loved the bunkbed in the cupboard! Some shops are walking distance and the trains are about 1km away.

The toilet is so small. A normal sized adult does not fit in this room... your knees touch the door when you sit down

Terrace is brilliant. The overall picture of the whole property is amazing, Staff is really kind and helpful. There could be 6 people sleeping there as the sofa is enough for 2 people as well.

Unclear key location upon arrival. :D It was communicated, however all messages were in dutch which I have received. :)

we love visiting Amsterdam city, this time we based ourselves in the suburbs and loved seeing how the Dutch live.

Superb

Very clean and nicely decorated apartments, light, perfectly acceptable kitchen, fine views, spacious bathroom, working heating, great location for going biking, walking in the dunes or visiting the beach. Many local shops and restaurants within short walking distance. Accommodating and friendly host.

Household equipment in apartment was somewhat scant - no floor broom / vacuum, no dishwashing towels... Not a real problem for us as we only stayed 3 nights.

Very pleasant and comfy stay, it had everything we needed and the terrace was a big bonus!

Very friendly hosts, super responsive by WhatsApp / phone. Perfect location (just 5km to the beach) in an amazing neighbourhood (have a stroll about and walk up, towards the dunes, it's beautiful!), free parking, very comfy beds, our suite had a nice terrace, fully stacked kitchen, large dining table, clean, great shower!

Just one shower and one small toilet for 5 people was a bit of a puzzle, but we made it work.

Superb

The hosts (all of them) they were super helpful and tried their best to help us with whatever they can! amazing people. The house is in a good size and can fit 4 people easy. The Netflix was not working in the house but they helped us with Chromecast even sent us list of movies to watch that night on TV .... see amazing people! Location is close to the beach (20 min by bike or 7 min by Uber which we preferred because we had things to carry to the beach ) It's nice place to spend a weekend or more close to the beach and relaxed as the while area is super calm and quit! dutch style ;) One extra info, there is a tiny lake in the front of the hose and that is awesome for midnight romantic drink with your girlfriend lol

We booked the 2nd floor apt which is nice and cool but if you got the chance get the 1st floor because in Netherland the stairs are an adventure all the way up so if you stay in the 1st floor will be easier ... It's not a bad thing to book the 2nd floor, just my preference.
