House was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, each bedroom has its own bath, kitchen was well-stocked.
Can’t think of anything that would make an improvement.

House was well cared for. Nice large kitchen and fully stocked with cooking essentials. Beautiful view from the house. A bit disappointed that the nearest pub was not open. we didn’t know that until we got there. It would’ve been really convenient if it was, but that’s no fault of the owner, be aware there’s nothing in the area. There is another pub nearby but not as close to the house which is very good and very good food. there’s no markets you have to go to Ballyferriter which is a little ways away in order to get any type of groceries. The house was clean, which is most important to me. It took us a little bit to figure out the pool table, which looks like you have to pay in order to use it, but you just push the coin slots in the balls for the pool table come out, but that wasn’t told to us by the owner, so that was Something we just figured out on our own and we wished we could’ve worked the fireplace. There was no instructions on that. We could not find the damper the weather during the time we were there was horrible and rained every day so it would’ve been nice to have a nice fire going at night a very nice stay.

We loved our time at the home. Spectacular views. Hard to beat. A little hiccup trying to get ahold of the property manager, but VRBO came to the rescue and we got stuff sorted out relatively quickly. Great spot. Thank you!!

Our family really enjoyed this property. Nothing compares to the view. Ocean and mountains. Plenty of space for entire family. I would suggest going to Garvey's SuperValue for any groceries you need. We took the train to Cork. We did the Slea Head Wave, this is a must. Some went on a boat for fishing. Caught great fish. Went to Killarney and did the National Park and went into Dingle for Pub Crawls,Aquariim and shopping. I wish we had more time in Killarney & touring the town of Dingle. I would recommend spending more than a week. Love the southwest of Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay on the Dingle Peninsula. Nula is a kind host and communication from her was top notch. Views are incredible right from the home -- just as shown in the photos. House is fully stocked with LARGE appliances which is a rare find. .PDF guide to the area was also very helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

We loved the location…walking trail was spectacular…with miles of coastline, we had no other encounters of people, but met some very nice sheep…it was like a personal walking trail of spectacular views…House was nice with plenty of space for large groups…really enjoyed our stay…only comment, rent a GPS, we did not have one and had difficulty finding it, but after that was pretty much perfect…thank you

Fabulous property!
Our trip to the Dingle Peninsula was magical……… in large part as a result of our vacation “home”. It’s in a wonderful location, peaceful and serene. The property and view are awesome! We had to cancel our trip twice due to COVID but FINALLY getting to stay here made it well worth the wait!

Stunning and peaceful location
This is a great sized house for a group holiday. The location and views are stunning from both sides of the house. The garden is lovely and big. There is a little beach in walking distance and other trails for walkers. The facilities in the house are good with each room having an en-suite. There is a large kitchen with a big table and also a utility. You do need a car to get about to see things and buy provisions as there isn’t a shop nearby and the pub that is within walking distance was closed when we stayed although it looked like work was being done to re-open it. Dingle is about a 20 minute drive with lots of food options and the nearby beaches are stunning.
There are a few little things that could be done to make this place perfect such as some garden chairs, an updated bbq, maybe some games for the garden, more new cups and glasses in the kitchen and fixing a few little snags like the downstairs wardrobes being difficult to open and close. The windows in the kitchen could have done with a good clean too. Check with the owner before you go that all bedrooms will be available if you are in a group of less than 10. One of the best rooms was locked when we arrived and the house keeper said there was a leak but later got a bit funny with us and said we paid per person and so didn’t get all the rooms. I emailed the owner and it was resolved quickly.
All in all this is a spacious house in a great location and we would recommend.

The house is close to Dingle (about 10mins drive). The house itself is very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious, bright and nicely decorated, and all bedrooms have en-suite. Beautiful views and a beautiful house! Perfect for a large family. Everything was as listed. Jacqui who manages the house was very prompt with any queries & concerns. Stunning trail by the ocean minutes from the house. It’s peaceful & remote yet only 10-12 minute drive to Dingle town. We would love to come here again.

Perfect Christmas Holiday
Our family of 5 stayed at the house for our Christmas holiday. The bedrooms suited our needs perfectly with cozy bedding and comfortable beds. The living room with the fireplace having an exquisite view of the bay was our favorite place to be. The kitchen was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed doing Christmas baking and cooking. As an active family who enjoys the outdoors, we were able to run and hike every day directly from the house. It was easy access to Dingle with the many wonderful shops and great grocery stores. Above all, we truly appreciated the attentiveness of John and Jacquie, making sure we were situated and happy. The entire stay could not have been better and we look forward to coming back again.

Perfect Irish Getaway
This is hands down exactly what we were looking for during our stay in this wonderful country. The house was large and well kept, the views were amazing and the atmosphere made it very easy to relax. I won't speak much on the house itself as the descriptions made by the owner accurately reflect what you will find.
My family and I spent 3 days here and upon reflection I wish we had spent our entire trip in this location. The town of Dingle offers enough local fare to keep a group entertained and the local sight seeing drive was spectacular.
Simply speaking when we return to Ireland I plan on this being at the top of the list.

Beautiful setting and excellent location
We had a wonderful stay at Ballydavid with our 6 adult children and ourselves. The house was large and spacious with each room offering beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. The bedrooms were large with private baths. My children loved the pool table upstairs. It was just steps away from great walking paths along the Wild Atlantic Way and a 10 minute drive to Dingle Town and the harbor. Dingle offers lots to do day and night. There is good hiking nearby at Mt. Brandon and "The Three Sisters". There is a small beach just down the hill from the house. There is a nice pub called T.P.'s nearby on another beach with good food and Guinness. John Moran, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries prior to the trip and Jacquie was quite helpful when we arrived. A place we would return to again.

Dingle penninsula
We loved the location and view. The proximity to everything was perfect for us. We wished some remoteness yet driving distance to any amenities.
I have see all of Ireland and dingle is very unique. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy it.

Beautiful location, beautiful home!
I had a bit of trouble with VRBO because I had a typo in my email address. I called right away and thought I had the problem fixed, but it took another contact with VRBO plus contact with the property owner to get it solved. Once that was done all was good.

Amazing location and beautiful home
We had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous home for 5 days in mid April. The views and location are absolutely amazing. Looking at the beautiful coastline, crashing waves and fields filled with cows, sheep and lambs was nothing short of magical. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. The local caretaker Jacquie was delightful, helpful and available for any questions or suggestions. All in all, a delightful spot. Thank you John and family for sharing your spot and we hope to return again soon!

75th Birthday Celebration
We had the pleasure of booking Ballydavid in August of 2018 to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday. The key to the home is the location. It is located just outside of An Fheothanach in Kerry which is a 20 minute drive from Dingle. Pictures may show the views but experiencing location with its smells of the sea spray and seeing sheep grazing on the hills above for yourself is very different. The host family has been kind enough to share their home and this slice of heaven with westward looking views of the Atlantic and the Three Sisters.
We took advantage of hiking, kayaking, and live music in Dingle while on our trip. We also used Ballydavid as a base to head down to Cork to visit our ancestral hometowns in West Cork.
The house itself was great. It easily held our family, allowed for folks to head to their own "wing" if they wanted to retire early in the evening. You can tell the design was well thought out as the "wings" are situated to create a wonderful outdoor space facing the ocean.
Our family had a tremendous time and we were able to build a lifelong memory thanks to the host, his home and his caretaker Páid.

Views are everything!
We had a wonderful time at Ballydavid. Although I was at first disappointed that it is farther from the town of Dingle than I thought, the views and area are so spectacular, that I'm thankful that I didn't opt for a hotel in town.
Waking up to sunrise and walking down to the beach was a treat I will not soon forget.
Jacquie, the caretaker, was so kind and accommodating. When she thought that the coffeemaker was broken (it turned out it wasn't), she brought us her own coffeemaker so that we wouldn't have to go without one.
Great place to stay! Would rent again if we go back to the area.
