Walk to gondola! Our condo is near the gondola yet feels very peaceful and secluded with a fabulous view of Emerald Mountain and the Yampa Valley, plus a glimpse of Mt. Werner. A small knoll of grass or snow depending on the season, just off the patio area provides extra privacy. This is a unique southwest facing one bedroom unit at The West with windows on three sides welcoming sunlight throughout the day.
Fresh remodel and new high-end furniture from Woodley’s. Gorgeous knotty pine doors and trim, quartz vanity top, Brazilian pecan tile and water chestnut paint give this condo the warm feeling you deserve. Handcrafted rustic cherry king size bedroom set, American Leather queen sofa (the Cadillac of sofa sleepers with an elite, proper mattress; no bars, no springs), leather recliners and leather ottoman. Countertop height table and Amisco, Ronny swivel stools. Plus there is plenty of space for you and your belongings in this roomy condo including two large closets, large dresser, pantry and full kitchen.
On a cool day, you can snuggle into the couch or recliners near the fireplace and enjoy the wonderful view or in the warmth, slip out to the patio and take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the skyline and beautiful Emerald Mountain sunsets. Ultimate patio lounge with two Adirondack chairs w/ottomans, two Adirondack rocking chairs and two side tables.
Both of the large outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor pool have magnificent views of Mt. Werner and the ski lifts. At the pool you will also find picnic tables and two gas grills with the same stellar view.
Four small buildings and a clubhouse/pool area on a private circle give a quaint feel to this condo complex compared to much larger buildings nearby. Unlike a few other condos in the complex with efficiency kitchens, as a bonus we have a full size kitchen, including a Bosch dishwasher.
Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we're sure you'll feel right at home. To name a few of the luxuries, we have robes, fluffy towels, 8 pillows, nice sheets, lots of hangers, room darkening shade and curtains in the bedroom. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot, including Wusthof knives, All-Clad 13-Piece Cookware Set, Blendtech blender, and a Bosch dishwasher for cleanup. As one of our guests said, a chef’s kitchen! We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items. We like our toys, inside the condo you can hang 6 pairs of skis, 2 snowboards or 2 bikes. River tubes and pumps may be available in entry closet, please inquire.
5 minute walk to the gondola. Free public buses located near the gondola can whisk you away to the small downtown streets of Steamboat. In addition to the gondola, a few bars, restaurants and live entertainment are a short five minute walk from the condo.
The balloon rodeo can be easily viewed from our patio (evening balloon glow steps away at the base of the resort), while the 4th of July fireworks can be seen from the lawn just a few steps beyond our patio and the aspen trees. Winter, Friday night fireworks can be seen from our parking area and partial view from front window.
**Two annual concerts at the Knoll parking lot next door, which will be heard from our condo. 1) Texas Music Fest 6-days (typically starts the weekend after New Years). 2) WinterWonderGrass 3-day bluegrass festival (typically the last weekend in February). Inquire for exact dates to avoid or attend.**
There are two coin-operated washers and two dryers on our floor a few doors down from our condo. You’ll find pictures of the laundry room in our listing.

We stayed at condo last year, liked it so much we came back for a 2nd year. Condo has everything you could possibly need and then some, it makes for a very enjoyable stay. Easy walk to base area. Great views of the wide open valley and mountains. Very comfortable bed and high quality furniture, kitchen is well organized and stocked properly with high quality items. The owner is great to work with and goes above and beyond with many little things and touches to ensure your stay is the best possible. We have rented many decent short term rentals over the years, this is the best.

I booked this condo unaware of the WinterWondergrass Festival that was taking place while I was visiting Steamboat to ski - so naturally I bought a ticket and was able to enjoy the music either at the festival grounds or listen from the condo. The condo is also very convenient to the mountain as it's only 5-10 walk to the gondola. It was very easy to deal with the owners, and highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, fully outfitted, and cozy condo at Steamboat Springs.

We loved staying at this property! It was very clean and well-organized. It had absolutely everything you could want for a week away from home: the condo was well-stocked with supplies from paper goods to spices to a beautiful set of cookware, dishes, and flatware; cozy blankets, terrycloth bathrobes, a warm propane fireplace. The interior was tastefully decorated. Clearly the owners, Tammy and Dan, care a great deal for their condo and want to share that feeling with others. They were very helpful in actually getting to the condo and answering our questions. We had a great week skiing: lots of snow and sunshine, and checking our skis at an overnight ski corral right at the base added to the convenience of being so close to the lifts.

We stayed 6 nights at this fabulous 1-bedroom rental in The West while in Steamboat for our daughter's winter wedding. It was as described with easy walkable access to the gondola/ski village to the east (yes, it's only 5 minutes) yet it felt very private and secluded as the unit is situated facing the west with spectacular mountain views. The condo is very well equipped for cooking with high quality cookware, dishes, appliances and supplies--it even has a fondu pot!! There were staples in the kitchen (sugar, tea, condiments, etc) and ample supply of paper towels, dish soap, shampoo, etc. The linens and towels are high quality as are the bed and pillows. We did not use the on-site laundry facility or the hot tubs. We arrived in a blizzard and it snowed most days but the driveway and parking lot were always cleared and accessible. The gas fireplace provides cozy heat in the main room while the bedroom has a separate thermostat which was great as we prefer to sleep cold. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return if we ever have the chance!

Wonderful stay with amazing views that did not disappoint! Central location - brief walk to the village, short drive to grocery stores and downtown. Photos accurately portray the unit with exception to the well-stocked bathroom and pantry (loved the tea selection on a crisp day!). Grateful for the early check-in. My family and I enjoyed playing Monopoly over 3 days with the lovely fall foliage in the background. Tammy and Dan are readily available should you need to contact them and left detailed reviews of local restaurants - it was like staying with very hospitable friends who weren’t there.

We had a great time at Tammy & Dan's condo in Steamboat! The location is right across the street from the main entrance to Steamboat and really easy to access the slopes! The unit is in great condition and the pool/hot tub area was a nice plus! Great communication with Tammy and Dan ahead and during our visit! We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic property, spacious, clean, very well stocked, comfortable bed and enjoyable condo to hang out in. Easy 5 minute walk to the lifts and plaza. There were a large number of little touches that added up to a 5 star experience, things like newer high quality thick bathroom towels and clean quality pots and pans that were well organized. It was very obvious the owner cares about the condo and making sure guests have the best possible experience. Highly recommend and hope to come back.

We doubted that this property really was a 5 minute walk from the ski resort, it really is! So convenient. We frequently stay across the street from the ski resort at the Grand, this property is just as close. By our estimate the time it takes you to go through the resort and down all their stairs it's equal, plus the kitchen, and condo size beats the Grand. The property owners are very structured on rules and we appreciated that. We love our pets but not indoors, and give tremendous value to knowing there are no pets allowed. Smoking and the after smell always bothers us as well, great that it is not allowed in this condo. The owners are quick to respond, and communicate well. Great experience, we will do this again.

I stayed at Fabuous Mt Views with my wife and 9yr old for family ski trip. We appreciated that the condo is not a huge corporate hotel style unit but more of a owner live in type building. The location is great with a short walk to gondola base... and restaurants and shopping. The feature i valued most is the entry has bench for "de-booting" and enough hooks for everyone to hang all their snow gear.... not all units have this and it is a big plus. The sofa bed is also really well made solid flat mattress... not a saggy springy hammock. Super quality there. The owners are obviously very attentive to details and everything is well described and provided for . Really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again. John

I needed help with a maintenance issue and on-site staff was there in minutes. Nice view of hot air balloons and the fall leaves changing colors. Great four-season place to stay.

This condo could not have been better, from the cleanliness to the luxurious towels and complementary bathrobes. It looks brand new inside. The patio has a beautiful, but nice and private view of the hills to the west. First morning I woke up to a beautiful 6 point buck deer sleeping in the grass outside the condo. He left but brought back a friend later. The owners were great and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitly will stay there again someday. Thanks much

This property is reflected accurately in all photos. While that aspect is captured well, the real story is in the hospitality received from Tammy and Dan. Proactive communication and authentic conversation. Want to know their favorite restaurants, kid friendly, happy hours or outdoor recreation spots? Its all in the book graciously prepared for your arrival. Questions are answered promplty. Our favorite aspect was the patio as we are wired for the outdoors. Every morning we sipped coffee and watched Steamboats Wild West balloon launch and then off for an adventure. We ended our day there as well, sipping a favorite beverage and watching the sunset. A little magic right in front of us. Yes, this is a wonderful place, with attentive host and we will be back, enjoy!
