About this house rental
There are four bedrooms, starting with the master which includes a king size bed, AC, full bathroom, walk-in closet, and a washer and dryer. Bedroom 2, also on the first floor, has a full size bed, AC, and sliding glass door with access to the front balcony. Bedroom 3, on the ground floor, has a Queen size bed and 1 set of bunk beds. Bedroom 4, also on the ground floor, has 2 full size beds. There are also 2 additional bathrooms with a shower, one on each floor.The first floor living room has seating for all and access to the balcony overlooking the full view of beautiful Sebago Lake. The up-to-date kitchen is very large, has all modern appliances, and granite counter tops. Neighboring the kitchen is a little dining room that looks onto the back deck where the grill and deck furniture are. On the ground floor there is second living room with a TV and a bar. There are two additional decks, one out front, and one on the side, for hanging out and relaxing. Unless you choose to relax on the hammock out front. The yard is plenty big enough for yard games of all sorts and we have our very own fire pit, horse shoe pit, and a paved basketball half court. We have a full aluminum dock, 1 mooring for boats, a swim raft, 2 kayaks and 100 feet of private sandy beach. Join the fun!

The master suite was a 10. The other bathrooms need updating. The queen bed in the room with the bunk beds needs to be replaced. I’m hoping these things can be improved because I would be willing to rent again if they were.

Family house is incredible. Plenty of space inside and out with multiple decks. Even when it’s raining, you can still enjoy the beauty from the back deck that is covered. Host, Matthew, and family are amazing as always and available for any questions. Updates to the house each year which is great. Can’t wait until summer next year!

What an amazing long weekend spent at the Ames' home at Sebago Lake. The house was gorgeous. Plenty of space for our group of 7. There was everything you would need to make a nice dinner in the kitchen and a grill if you wanted to cook outside. There were lots of areas to relax and the outside area was great. Awesome view of Sebago Lake while enjoying the fire pit outside. There is also a dock if you want to rent a boat which was a great time. For our first time vacationing on Sebago Lake, I'd say it was a home run! I can definitely see renting this property again. Totally exceeded our expectations!!

The property location and the beach area is awesome. The family came and had a wonderful week. If I were the owner I would repair the main floor shower, the screen to the deck, and several dining room chairs. Overall, communication with the owner was great and the location is stupendous!

Life Is Better at the Lake
Our family enjoyed this quiet location with great access to Lake Sebago. The beach and floating raft were perfect for kids and dogs. We used the kayaks and also rented a pontoon boat that we kept on the mooring.
I have never seen a house with so many switches. There is an electrical outlet everywhere you could possibly need one, as the place was built by master electricians. Staying there, it's clear this has been a cherished family home for decades, with many memories and special touches. Some folks in the area just pump their water from lake, which is quite clean, but this property has well water, probably safer for drinking.

Perfect spot
Amazing place for a vacation. So relaxing and the pictures don’t do it justice. We loved our time on the dock, using the kayaks, and enjoying the fire every night. Would absolutely return.

Cabin with Beautiful Views of the Lake
This home is a down to earth, cabin feel. You don't have to worry about taking off your shoes into a Cinderella Castle. We loved the use of the boat dock and the mooring came into play when we rented a boat for the week. There is a jet-ski lift to use in case you would rent one. I loved using the firewood on the property. A dead-end street made it quiet and not too much traffic. The views of the lake are worth booking this property. So many rooms are exposed to the beautiful views of the lake. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of beach towels and bath towels to go around. Plenty of kitchen tools and dishes to use as well. Downstairs provided an XBOX, video games, board games and DVD's. You will definitely not be bored renting this property. Awesome week
Renting this property on Sebago Lake was one of the best vacations I have ever had. The house had plenty of hangout space it was always a wonderful temperature with a breezy atmosphere. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of beds for everyone. Waterfront was even more than I could hope for with a fun diving platform and a floating dock. The beachy sand was a great entrance for kids and elderly. The sunrise is a incomparable and I woke up every morning to sit on the spacious porch and watch them. Property manager was quick to respond with any concerns. Neighbors were friendly and helpful.

What a great vacation!
This was the first year at this Sebego location and we enjoyed every minute of it! There is a lot of space in the house and the kids had plenty of places to play. We enjoyed the beach area every day too, as well as the fire pit! Matthew was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions that I had. He was a pleasure to rent from! Hope that we are able to enjoy this property again next year!

Heaven on Earth
This is our 3rd stay at the Ames house and, as usual, we were not disappointed. Peter and family go to great lengths to make it a memorable experience, and each time we visit, they have added a tweak or upgrade to make an outstanding vacation even better. The sandy, private beach area is almost unheard of on big Sebago. The house is well appointed and roomy with memorable lake views (especially at sunrise). Peter (the owner) is friendly and responsive, but never intrusive. We will be putting reservations in for 2021 shortly! Thanks Peter and Matt!!

The house has everything you need, Plenty of space w good size living room And family room downstairs. Very convenient they supply bath towels and linens. The lake is clean, the jump board and swim dock is great for kids of all ages. The owners Are great people and very easy to deal with. Another Awesome Stay
This was my extended family's fifth year at this lovely lake house. Probably the best one yet. (Sure, Covid _might_ have had something to do with that. ;)) But, seriously. If you are looking for a family friendly lake retreat suitable for swimming, reading, hanging out, playing games, etc. you can't do better than this. Many different spots to be if people (or ages) want some 'away' time. Also places for all to gather for group activities. Thanks, Peter and Matt. You and your house never fail to deliver!

This is our 2nd time to this property and its still as great as we remember. Huge sandy beach, dock and lots of things to do. Our girls are 8 and 5, and pretty much lived in the water.

Property was very clean which is important in these times. Loved the sandy beach which is perfect for children. Property owners were very helpful and friendly. Perfect vacation home for families. For us instead of a bunkroom another bedroom with bigger bed or beds would be better.

Great for family gathering.
The house was perfect for us. Family members from far away were all able to get together here. Plenty of room to eat and visit all together, but there is also a lot of space and comfort to spread out.
Beautiful raised view of the lake and activity on it, sunrises over the lake, loons to see and hear, and an eagle that flew past often.
Well equipped with plenty to get started before doing any shopping.
Matt was just a phone call away, and his Dad is nearby to stop in to answer any questions or check on anything needing attention.
We spent a wonderful month here and are glad we found this rental.
